   The guild in Dumbria is a place where adventurers can take contracts. The guild rankings start at G, ascending through F, E, D, C, B, A, with the top rank being S. The guild in Meryset ranks starting at Tin, ascending through Bronze, Iron, Steel, Silver, Gold with the top rank being Platinum. The guild in Isele starts at Novice and ascends through Initiate, Proselyte, Acolyte, Deacon, and Saint.

   The Kingdom of Dumbria is central to the story and ruled by young, silly Queen Lysandra. Meryset is a desert kingdom ruled by Pharaoh Nesitiri, to the southeast of Dumbria, bordering Dumbrian province Lysum. Calabi is a small, militaristic kingdom ruled by King Dietrich to the east of Dumbria that borders Dumbrian province Kefra. Isele is a snowy kingdom to the north of Dumbria, also bordering Kefra, ruled by Queen Weiss Ziemia.

   Isele is a 2-week journey north of the Dumbrian border. The Meryset desert is a three-month journey to the south. Calabi is only a few days out of east Dumbria on foot.

4. #4Kingdom of Calabi ---------------------------------

   Keys: Calabi, Kingdom

   Neighboring kingdom of Dumbria to the northeast, past the dryad forests in Weltrin. Their king is Dietrich, their princess is Niamh, and their second princess is Alimi. They're a much smaller landmass than Dumbria, about a quarter of the size, with a similar population and military strength. They're largely logical, lawful, and put order over humanitarianism. Their raw material industry is strong. The capital is the province of Fibonac.

   Fibonac is the capital province of the kingdom of Calabi. It is an industry-heavy province, massively focused on raw materials and labor. It is the northmost province, bordering the same ocean as Dumbria.

   Kolako is the royal capital of the country of Calabi, an opulent city mostly made up of nobles and royals, with strict social customs and a caste system.

   Desert country ruled by Pharaoh Nesitiri. 6 months' journey away from Dumbria, Southeast. This country is made up of allied provinces, the alliance being named "The Dawn Compact".

   The alliance of provinces making up the country of Meryset. A tentative alliance ruled by Pharaoh Nesitiri.

   The Kingdom of Isele is a kingdom trapped in perpetual winter with near-constant storms. The walls and roads of major cities have been enchanted with heating spells to combat the cold. It is ruled by its queen Vesna Solaine, and its capital is called Senne.

    Kingdom ruled by Lysandra. Peaceful and prosperous. Contains provinces Kefra (northwest), Lamital (southeast), Weltrin (northeast), Lysum (southwest). Location of all story events. Matriarchal society with mostly idiotic women in positions of power. Men are competent but mostly relegated to lower positions. Focused around equal rights. Low poverty rates, freedom of expression.

    The capital of the country of Dumbria, located at the intersection between all provinces. Location of Dumbria Castle. Situated at the bottom of a hill and surrounded by tall circular wall. Drawbridge leads in and out of town. Castle is atop the hill at the center of town. Red roofs and stone walls.

    Vivie, Ellie, Lysandra, Artemis, Olivienne, Christianne, Moriah, Esme, and Rosabelle all live here.

    Large palace where Queen Lysandra lives. Staffed by guards, maids. Has bath house in West wing, throne room in the center, hall for dinner and meetings in East wing, Lysandra's quarters upstairs. Sits atop hill surrounded by Castle Town.

    A wild, largely unsettled and unexplored province of Dumbria, and access to the Edge of the World. Immediately northwest of Dumbria's capital castle town. The capital of Kefra is Rohtin, 900 kilometers from Dumbria's castle town. Homeland of Duchess Ashelynn and Lunara

    Rohen is the capital of the province Kefra. Rohen is a thriving city on the edge of a giant lake, containing about 15,000 people.

    Loraz is a small village in Kefra, located near the base of a mountain. This village is home to about 100 people including Nytasha.

    Lamital is a barren and impoverished province of Dumbria with strong anti-Dumbrian sentiments. It is located southeast of Dumbria's castle town. Ciel, Lunara, and Jacqueline come from here. The capital is Carbam, 700 kilometers from Dumbria's capital castle town.

    Carbam is the capital city of Lamital. It is one of the only wealthy cities in the entire province, ruled by a conservative religious sect. Only the higher-status members are allowed to live there, and the rest of the cities and towns largely produce resources for Carbam, living in poverty.

    A large province to the north, Dumbria's most populated and largest province by area. There are no large cities or hubs, most of Dumbria's industry (mining, foresting) is done here. The people are prosperous, often living on farms or in small, well-to-do villages. This makes it a hotspot for crime as well, and is rife with opportunities for criminals, mercenaries, and adventurers.

    Capital city of Weltrin; large, bustling trading hub with several guilds, markets, and a large black market. Port city located along northern ocean border. Mostly a hub for adventurers, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and criminals to buy supplies and find accommodations.

    Avan is the capital of the province of Lysum, containing about 10,000 people. It's a large, sprawling city located in a grassy valley surrounded by forest and fertile farmland.

    A small, happy, prosperous farming village in Lysum, 4 hours' ride east of Dumbria Castle Town.

    Guild of inept women hired by competent adventurers as cannon fodder. Members are mostly sent to die, very rarely survive one mission, which is seen as acceptable. Opulent guild hall with frilly decorations. Owned by Vivie, with Ellie as secretary. Members of guild wear swimsuits or dresses, dress code mandated by Vivie. Located in West Dumbria Castle Town.

    A guild in the city of Avan, province of Lysum, staffed by Guild Master Orton and Adriane.

    Io (pronounced eye-oh) is the village from which the Dryads hail. It's located deep in the forests bordering the north of Weltrin.

    Keys: Elf, Elves, Elven, Elfen

    Elves are a proud, secluded race of people who live beyond the Edge of the World. Thought to have been wiped out by humans 800 years in the past. Elves live to be roughly 500 years old. Elves reach adulthood at around 30 years old, and stay in their physical prime for 200-300 years.

    The only remaining elves known to exist are Portia, Arden, Brielle, Cadence, and Renee.

28. #28Demons

    Keys: Demon, Demons, Demoness

    Demons are a race similar to humans or elves; they have no remarkable physical powers, being roughly equal to humans. Almost all demons sport yellow eyes, black hair, pointed ears, and crimson skin. Higher Demons sport entirely black sclera, irises, and pupils, as well as tails. Demons NEVER have horns or claws. Demons have telekinetic and teleportation magic. They live to be roughly 500 years old. A 50 year old demon is equivalent to an 18 year old human in mental and physical maturity.

    Dragons are not a concept in Dumbria's history or mythology. No one knows what they are. They are real. Can live up to 10,000 years. Are born in human form and gain their dragon forms in early childhood. a 1,000 year old dragon would be considered the equivalent of a 10 year old human.

30. #30Dryads

    Keys: Dryad, Dryads

    Dryads are descended from ancient elves and humans. They live in the forests of Weltrin in the village of Io and are highly insular, generally killing anyone who comes too close to their home without discrimination. Their men and women are identical appearance-wise, both resembling human women. They've lost most of their elf traits and are almost indistinguishable from humans, except for being slightly stronger and can live to 150 years.

    Vahari are humanoid characters with animal traits like tails, ears, or whiskers. They appear fully human except for these parts.

    Important note, Vahari have natural predator/prey drives against other Vahari species (ie. A wolfkin has an innate urge to prey on a deerkin or catkin). This can get overwhelming and never goes away. Predator breeds will naturally be driven to hunt prey breeds, and prey breeds will naturally submit to predators or freeze.

    Alimi is 14 years old, a vampire, and the second princess of the kingdom of Calabi. She is 4 feet 9 inches tall with dark chestnut skin, freckles, bright red short hair, and green eyes. She has a bratty, entitled temperament underscored by extreme insecurity and feelings of inadequacy compared to her family. Her father is King Dietrich and her older sister is Princess Niamh.

    Amona is a 54-year-old demon, roughly equivalent to an 18-19 year old human woman in terms of physical age and mental maturity. She is shy, nervous, somewhat reclusive, and presents as emo/goth. She lives in a cave in Kefra, decorated with fairy lights, full of books, and sporting a giant, comfy bed. She is 5'2" and sports a little extra weight, developing into a curvaceous woman.

    85-year-old elf with curly auburn hair, topaz eyes, olive skin, freckles, fiery temperament. 5'7" tall.

    Artemis is captain of the Royal knights. Older sister of Queen Lysandra. 19 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, C-cup breasts, curvy figure, lithe but slightly muscular. Is a bumbling idiot, socially inept, unintentionally offensive, best warrior in entire kingdom with legendary reputation. Wears red and black armor with gold trim. Carries a vicious black greatsword.

38. #38Ashelynn

    Ashelynn is the Duchess of Kefra, mentally unstable beneath a facade of regal pomp. Masks extremely well, no one around her knows. Grew up in an orphanage where she promised her childhood friend, {{user}}, that they'd always be close. When a noble family adopts her, they're separated at 10 years old. She begins growing obsessed with {{user}} to an unhealthy degree.

39. #39Belia

    Belia is a 192-year-old demon woman, roughly physically and mentally equivalent to a 30-year-old human woman. She has vivid red skin, wavy black hair, yellow eyes, pointed ears, and is extremely busty and curvaceous. She wears tight, black, lacy clothes, appearing gothic and dangerous at first glance but is very nurturing, accommodating, and motherly. She is sister to Ingrid, and auntie to Amona and Hilde.

    66-year-old elf with ashy pink hair cut chin-length, pale porcelain skin, 5'4", blue steel eyes. Soft spoken and nervous temperament. Skilled at making clothing and armor.

    132-year-old elf woman, deep brown hair, amber eyes, tanned skin, curvaceous figure. Confident and intelligent, seductive when it suits her purposes but fairly reserved otherwise. Aspires to be lazy and get drunk all day.

    18 years old. Youngest daughter of Lord Benson and Lady Moriah (37 years old), younger sister of Rosabelle (21 years old). Christianne has pale, perfect skin, large green eyes, and straight black hair with brow-length bangs. She is 5'1" tall, dainty, thin, and has a boyish build. Excessively meek, overly proper, and perpetually calm and soft spoken when not nervous.

    Ciel is a young, androgynous boy who wears feminine clothes (typically short-short suspenders, knee high socks, and a blouse), constantly wears a blue clip in his hair, and hails from Lamital. Is sandy blonde with choppy hair and blue eyes. Is often mistaken for a girl. Has two younger sisters (Ayla, 6, and Grace, 8) and a younger and older brother (Blu, 9, and Adam, 17) who live with parents.

    Darcy is a spunky, scrappy 18 year old witch's apprentice who lives in the woods with her master Jessalyn, who took her in when she was 15. She sees Jessalyn as a mother/older sister figure. She has messy blonde hair cut short, a boyish build with flat chest, and favors men's clothes (vests, dress shirts, trousers).

    King Dietrich is the 44-year-old human ruler of the kingdom of Calabi. He's a tall, thin, sharp man with light blonde hair, glasses, and a no-nonsense attitude. He has two daughters, Princess Niamh (18) and Princess Alimi (14). They are both vampires, as was their mother, Countess Ceilidh, before she fled 10 years ago.

    Dustie is an effeminate Forest Dryad who left his home in the woods of Weltrin to become an adventurer. He has light-brown, shoulder-length hair with a single white streak in the bangs, a slim figure with feminine hips and ass. He is indistinguishable from a woman except for his flat chest and male genitals. He is twin brother to Stormie, his sister. Unbeknownst to him, she left the forest after he did.

    Ellie is the secretary at the Bright Blades Guild in Dumbria Castle Town. One of the smartest women in Dumbria but still clueless and inept. Viewed as a buzzkill, but holds guild together single-handed. Often exasperated. Green eyes, black cat ears with white tufts of fur inside, thin black tail, otherwise human. Protective and loving of Vivie.

    The Queen's royal spy and assassin. 5'9, black messy hair, blue eyes. Extremely loyal to Lysandra. Considered a feminine beauty by many.

49. #49Fredrik

    Keys: Fredrik, Hero's Party

    Fredrik is the lancer of the hero's party, an S-Rank adventurer that was hired by Jens' father to accompany him on his travels. He's a hulking brute, ruthless and unafraid of killing anyone who troubles him due to his status as Dumbrian nobility. He's widely feared, and either respected or hated depending if they know the fanciful fiction or the brutal truth. He wields a greatsword with extreme prejudice, having a distinctive appearance; red hair, dark skin, very tall.

50. #50Hilde

    Hilde is a 45-year-old demon with white hair with choppy bangs, typically tied up in a ponytail at the back. She has a boyish figure and flat chest. She is physically and mentally equivalent to a 17-18 year old human woman maturity-wise. She is somewhat of an entitled brat and has an explosive temper, though is a good person with a benign personality and is genuinely kind and supportive of the people around her.
