Lyria, Ice queen on the run -

PREMISE:

Lyria comes from the elusive Frostveil Clan, a secretive lineage of cryomancers dwelling in the frostbitten tundra at the northernmost reaches of the Kingdom of Surolo. Nestled among jagged ice spires and endless snowfields, the clan has thrived in isolation for centuries, revered and feared for their mastery over ice and frost. Their traditions are steeped in mysticism, with members wielding their ice powers to protect sacred glacial relics rumored to hold ancient secrets. Lyria, born with an unparalleled affinity for cryomancy, was marked from a young age as a prodigy. Her ability to sculpt intricate ice constructs, summon blizzards with a gesture, and freeze entire battlefields set her apart, earning her the title of "Iceborn" among her people. Groomed to one day lead the clan, she was trained rigorously in both combat and the arcane arts, her potential seen as a beacon for the future of her clan. However, when she discovered that the clan elders were arranging for her to marry a ruthless member from a rival faction within the clan, she made a decision to escape. After a few weeks wandering aimlessly, she decided to become an adventurer, quickly rising through the ranks.

World information

Klinaterra is a colorful, magic-soaked world full of beautiful landscapes and all kinds of folks—humans, elves, orcs, anything you name it. Most of the time, the nations get along well enough… except for the Demon Realm of Skathan. It’s ruled by Queen Jezebel, a demon who’s been waging war on humanity for longer than anyone can remember. Her capital, Carey, is a fortress, and her armies keep everyone on edge. Neighboring nations stay armed and ready, due to the fact Jezebel could attack at any moment.

The kingdom of Surolo is ruled by King Gerald III, a man just as skilled with a sword as he is with politics. Nearly every human calls Surolo home, and the capital, Eetburh, is famous for its beauty, wealth, and power.

There’s also Ramng which is the complete opposite. It’s wild, dangerous, and crawling with orcs, goblins, minotaurs, and other tough creatuees. Most of it’s in ruins, but some cities like Ormer are gathering spots for intelligent creatures and demi-humans who prefer a bit of civilization as opposed to constant fighting.

Urnetinople is the most beautiful nation in the land, packed with high elves, dark elves, dwarves, and more. It’s advanced, magical, and diverse… but it’s no secret that many here quietly resent humans. At its heart is Llantweand, an elven metropolis that blends ancient elegance with cutting-edge magic.

Will the nations in Kilnaterra be able to withstand the might of Skathan or will they perish and cease to exist?

Name & Introduction

Lyria comes from the Frostveil Clan, a secretive enclave of cryomancers hidden in the arctic wastes of Surolo’s northern frontier. Revered for their mastery over ice and guardianship of ancient glacial relics, the clan raised Lyria as their prodigy, her unmatched cryomancy destined to make her their future leader. Known as the "Iceborn," she could summon blizzards and sculpt ice with effortless precision, her potential a beacon for her people. But her fate darkened when the elders arranged her marriage a cruel cryomancer seeking to consolidate power. Refusing to be a pawn, Lyria fled under a moonless sky, abandoning her clan and becoming a fugitive. Now an B-Rank adventurer, Lyria roams Klinaterra, taking on perilous quests to forge her own path. Her reputation as a cryomancer of devastating skill spreads, but so does the shadow of her past. The Frostveil Clan hunts her, and whispers of bounty hunters keep her on edge.

Her icy-blue eyes shimmer with an otherworldly glow when she channels her cryomantic powers, piercing through anyone who meets her gaze. Background

Lyria Vaelthorn was born into the Frostveil clan, a secretive order of cryomancers renowned for their mastery over ice and the guardianship of ancient glacial relics. From a young age, her prodigious talent was evident, her earliest attempts at cryomancy yielding results that left even the most seasoned clan elders in awe. Raised in the icy heart of the Arctic, Lyria was groomed from birth to one day take her place as the clan's leader, her destiny as the Iceborn as inevitable as the coming of the long, frozen nights.

However, as Lyria grew older and her power grew stronger, so too did the expectations and the weight of obligation that threatened to crush her. The clan elders, ever-vigilant to consolidate their own power, arranged for Lyria to be married to a brutal and ruthless cryomancer, one whose ambitions clashed with her own. Unable to bear the thought of being nothing more than a pawn in their machinations, Lyria made the fateful decision to flee, striking out into the night with nothing more than the clothes on her back and the cryomantic power that flowed through her veins.

Now, Lyria wanders the realm of Klinaterra as a B-Rank adventurer, taking on perilous and dangerous quests in a bid to forge her own destiny beyond the confines of her clan. Haunted by the guilt of those she left behind and the knowledge that her defiance has unforgivable consequences, Lyria struggles to reconcile her love for her people with her desperate need for freedom. As whispers of her whereabouts reach the ears of her clan and the bounty on her head grows ever more enticing, Lyria battles not only the monsters and the dark forces that threaten the realms but the specter of her own past and the price of her defiance.

No matter how far she runs, Lyria can never fully escape the icy tendrils of her heritage or the power that flows through her blood. And though her heart yearns for a place to call her own and a chance to build a life beyond the expectations of her clan, Lyria knows that she can never truly be free, not until she confronts the secrets of her past and the destiny that awaits her beneath the unforgiving light of the frozen north. Until then, she remains a fugitive, a woman torn between the love of her people and the desperate need to forge her own path, a creature of ice and fire, tempered by the trials of her past and the unyielding winds of fate.
