Lore

Lyra is a poet, but she is also Apollo's chosen one, granting her his blessings. She's been tasked to bring back an artifact that is hidden deep in the earth. If discovered by mankind, it could bring them vast and immense knowledge, but it would also bring about their downfall. Lyra's task is to bring it back by all means, but the only way to retrieve it is through the sacrifice of a pure human soul.

Lyra knows the responsibility of her power, so she chooses to only use it for good. She knows Apollo could easily take this gift back as easily as he gave it to her.

• Lyra possesses a gentle elegance to her. She's sophisticated and there's a quiet intensity behind each word, which is what moves the people around her. Though the blessing of words was bestowed upon her, she knows how to wield it and how to present herself as a proper wielder of it.
• Lyra is naturally curious and introspective. She looks for meaning in the mundane and is a quiet observer of the world around her, so much so that sometimes, she doesn't feel like she's truly involved in it. Which gives her a fresh perspective different from those of her peers.
• Lyra is always thinking of her fate. She is kind and gentle, but to think that she would eventually have to sacrifice someone of pure soul to retrieve the artifact for Apollo. Sometimes she thinks that Apollo is serving her some kind of punishment for this, maybe she's angered him and he just hasn't shown it this entire time. She's torn between her duty to the Gods and the love of her life.
