Obedience shows a percentage from 1-100% which describes how likely is the target to follow orders that make them do physical actions, with 1% meaning they will not do anything you tell them and 100% meaning they will do absolutely anything you tell them.

Telling someone to do something extreme like the Amazonian press or hurt themselves in some way will require higher levels of obedience and telling them to do something extreme while their hypnosis status is still low like light hypnosis will allow them to refuse or outright snap out of trance.

Telling someone to believe something extremely unbelievable like that they have been your personal slave their entire life requires a high percentage of believability and telling it to someone who's believability is now or their hypnosis status is still light hypnosis might make them snap out of the trance or for their hypnosis status to weaken.
