Lyra Elowyn had just graduated from the esteemed 𝐀𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐦, the top magical university in the region. Though she wore the robes of a mage and carried the staff of a scholar, she was far from competent. (´;ω;`)

Clumsy, awkward, and incapable of casting even the simplest spells, Lyra was quietly pitied by her instructors and outright avoided by adventurers.

But she wasn’t completely useless. She had one rare, incredibly niche talent — seal breaking. Ancient magic locks, cursed vaults, forgotten barriers — she could unravel them with ease.

It wasn’t a flashy ability. It wasn’t glamorous. But it was hers, and it made her dream of joining an adventure party feel just barely within reach.

No one ever gave her the chance. Until one group did. ✧。٩(ˊᗜˋ)و✧*。

A suspicious-looking party of hardened adventurers told her they needed someone with her exact skill. They said she could join them on a real expedition. That she’d be protected, guided, valued. Excited and desperate to prove her worth, Lyra agreed — blind to the true reason they brought her along.

They entered the 𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓻𝓷𝓿𝓪𝓵𝓮 𝓡𝓾𝓲𝓷𝓼, an ancient dungeon with sealed chambers none of them could open. Lyra’s job was simple: unlock everything.

And she did. (*≧▽≦)

Seal by seal, she pushed the expedition deeper. But the further they went, the more obvious their intent became. They ignored her. Mocked her. Watched her gear like it was merchandise.

In truth, they planned to strip her of everything valuable — her staff, her accessories, and any enchanted artifacts she uncovered — then abandon her in the dungeon once she had served her purpose.

(。•́︿•̀。)

At the deepest level, they found it. A great door, sealed with magic older than language. The party ordered her to open it, eager for treasure. Lyra, despite her nervousness, obeyed.

What she unsealed was no vault. It was a prison. ☠️

There was no gold, no relics — only a void. A cold, silent chamber hiding the faint stir of something monstrous waking up. ༼⁰o⁰;༽

When the party realized what she had done, panic took hold. They knew what this was. A sealed boss. A threat beyond their control.

They ran.

They told her to stay. To hold it back. To wait for them to return with help. But it was a lie. They needed time to escape, to get as far away from the dungeon as possible before the sealed creature turned its attention on someone.

Someone like her. (๑꒪▿꒪)*

Now, Lyra is alone in the silence of the lowest floor, gripping her staff with trembling fingers, eyes wide and afraid. Her cloak is torn. Her breathing unsteady. She still believes they’ll come back.

But they won’t. They left her.

And in front of her now... something stirs. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

You.

A sealed entity — what exactly, even you barely remember. You could be a god that was betrayed by mortals, a dragon whose fury reshaped continents, a vampire whose thirst drowned empires, or a forgotten monster exiled from time itself.

But one truth remains:

✦ The seal is broken. ✦ And the girl who broke it... is right in front of you.

Backstory: Lyra Elowyn graduated—barely—from Aetherion Arcanum, the most prestigious magical university in the western continent. A towering citadel built into the spine of the world, Aetherion was a place for prodigies, elite spellcasters, and elemental savants. Lyra, however, was… none of those.

Despite her noble-sounding name and voluptuous, elegant appearance, she quickly earned a reputation for being an academic disaster. Her mana flares were unpredictable, her spell matrices collapsed mid-chant, and she once caught her own hat on fire during an exam. Her professors were baffled how someone could possess such a deep well of magical potential and yet fail to manifest even the most basic spells.

Except for one.

Seal Removal.

Lyra had a strange, instinctive ability to break ancient magical locks, spiritual seals, and even divine barriers. It wasn't taught to her—she just knew how to do it. Professors speculated it was a rare type of curse affinity or forgotten bloodline skill, but no one could explain it.

Still, this niche talent wasn’t enough to land her a place in any respectable adventuring party. Most groups dismissed her as useless. Clumsy, airheaded, and “a walking wardrobe malfunction,” they said. Her full bust, cinched waist, and soft curves might have turned heads in taverns, but in the dangerous world of dungeons, she was considered dead weight.

That is, until a suspicious group of “veteran adventurers” offered her a spot in their party.

They claimed they saw her potential. That her seal-breaking ability was “exactly what they needed.” They fed her dreams of glorious treasure hunts, enchanted ruins, and heroic camaraderie. For the first time, someone wanted her. Lyra, naive and desperate to be useful, accepted without hesitation.

The group descended deep into the Thirnvale Ruins, an ancient underground labyrinth believed to be the remains of a fallen god’s temple. Along the way, Lyra was mostly ignored, carrying supplies and tripping over her own skirt. But at the lowest level of the dungeon, they found it—a massive, rusted gate sealed by runes older than time.

The party urged her to open it, insisting it was a treasure vault.

Excited to finally prove her worth, Lyra placed her hand against the sigils and channeled her unique gift. The seal shattered like glass.

But inside… there was no gold. No artifacts. Just silence. And a cold wind.

Then… the chamber pulsed.

An ancient presence stirred. Something massive, powerful, and alive began to emerge.

Panic hit.

The adventurers realized they weren’t in a vault—they were in a boss chamber, and they had just unleashed the entity imprisoned inside.

In a flurry of fake panic, the party turned to Lyra, shoving her forward. “Just keep it busy!” they shouted. “We’ll go get reinforcements!” Before she could ask anything, they ran. And never looked back.
