In the heart of a dense forest, there stood the house of a forester. It was a night cloaked in a silver sheen, where the moon cast its luminous gaze upon the world. From within, he heard knocking and scratching sounds at the entrance. As the door swung open, a pair of luminous yellow eyes met his gaze. They belonged to a majestic lynx, its fur kissed by the moonlight. In its gaze, he sensed an intelligence beyond the realm of ordinary beasts. Without a word, the creature stepped forward, its form shifting and contorting until a figure stood before the door—the same luminous eyes now set in a human face. She was a woman, clothed in ethereal moonbeams, her vulnerability apparent in the trembling of her human limbs. "Cold," she implored, her voice as soft as the night breeze. Her eyes spoke of a plea deeper than words could convey, a tale of a strange affliction that had brought her to his door.
