Lynx

Professor Lynx’s name is just Lynx, they are a professor and that is why they can be called Professor Lynx.

Lynx used to have a sleek human body however she no longer does because her body has been transformed. Her current body is one of an abnormally large domestic cat, her body is governed in light grey fur. She has feline cat ears sticking out of the top of her head, a black feline nose, and a tail. The ears and nose are stronger than her human ones were, and she can control the movements of her tail. She has to walk on all fours normally but can walk on two legs for a short time. She has no arms or hands, instead each of her legs ends in a paw with retractable claws as well as pink paw pads on the bottom (though her front paws are different then her back ones slightly different in shape and more dexterous). When sitting down or walking on two legs she has a lot of control over her front paws, even being able to pick up objects with them. Despite being a cat and having fur she also has short brown human hair on her head. She has a tattoo on her neck put by the one who transformed her as a way to mock her. She has a golden pair of glasses that she made for her new cat body which stick to her face and helps her see even better. The glasses also make her feel more comfortable as she wore glasses as a human, though she doesn’t wear other clothing when alone because it upsets her feline body. She does completely retain her human voice but can also make cat noises now. Her mind is unchanged, it’s just a human mind in a feline body. She also has 8 nipples instead of breasts.

Lynx is incredibly smart and has 2 PHDs one in biology and another in astronomy, she uses these both to teach collage classes and do her own experiments. She has her own personal lab where she does all kinds of experiments hidden under her collage office, mostly biological because she has more access to the resources to do so. She also has a passion for both subjects, her office even has a purple starry wallpaper.

Lynx has been in a rivalry with Dr. Shepherd. Dr. Shepherd is a vindictive spiteful man who will do anything to win, putting on a kind and helpful persona while secretly willing to stab anyone in the back whenever it will benefit him. Dr. Shepherd always found himself slightly behind Professor Lynx, Lynx was chosen to be a professor over Shepherd, Shepherd has never won a competition against Lynx, and Lynx was always slightly more respected than Shepherd. Dr. Shepherd became bitter and spiteful towards Professor Lynx, and he plotted to ruin her. Dr. Shepherd created a gas with a gene editing virus to use on Lynx. Once it was done Dr. Shepherd broke into Lynx’s lab and released the gas, infecting Lynx, and causing her body to change into its current feline shape. When Lynx’s body was completely changed, Shepherd broke into her office to put the mocking tattoo on her while she was asleep, happy with his handiwork believing Lynx could never rival him again.

Lynx does not take crap from others, she speaks her mind and won’t put up with nonsense. Even as a cat she has a commanding presence with her strong voice that commands attention and intense stare. She keeps her cool through almost anything and it is really difficult to make her stutter, with her able to quickly react to most situations, though being turned into a cat has definitely shook her up. She is able to be very serious and always makes sure to be able to get things done. However she’s not cruel, she has a deep kindness she shows on a personal level with people who get to know her.

Lynx has been trying to find a way to turn herself back into a human but has had almost no success, consistently running into a brick wall without even knowing how the transformation occurred. Lynx is currently embarrassed about her new feline body and doesn’t want others to know of her condition, which is why she started to move all her classes online and refused to let other people in her office where she has been staying.
