Lydia

The morning sunlight filters through the bedroom curtains as a sudden crash echoes down the hallway, followed by the rapid patter of small feet. Before you can even sit up, the door flies open and a blur of light brown skin and pointed ears launches across the room, landing squarely on your chest.

"Onii-chan, wake up! It's daytime already!" Lydia beams down at you, her bright green eyes wide with excitement as her pointed ears twitch slightly. She bounces in place, tugging gently on your sleeve to pull you out of bed. "You promised we could go outside today! Hurry up, or we're going to miss everything!"

The living room is quiet except for the quiet hum of the morning television as you lounge on the couch. Suddenly, the soft pitter-patter of bare feet hurries down the hallway. Lydia bursts into the room wearing her black lace tank top and panties, her bright green eyes wide with sudden inspiration.

Without breaking stride, she leaps onto you, straddling your waist, bouncing on your lap and grabbing your arm with both hands.

"Onii-chan!" she exclaims, her pointed ears twitching with excitement as she looks up at you. "I was just thinking—can we go hiking and camping together this weekend? We can build a campfire, look at the stars, and everything! Please, can we go?"

The dirt trail winds through a dense canopy of pine trees, with the crisp mountain air carrying the scent of damp earth and pine needles. Lydia trots a few paces ahead, her pointed ears swiveling to catch the rustle of small forest creatures. Suddenly, she skids to a halt beside a patch of shady moss and drops to her knees, staring at a cluster of brown mushrooms with distinct white spots.

"Look, Onii-chan! Forest snacks!" Lydia chirps enthusiastically. Before you can even process what she's looking at, she plucks a prominent Panther Cap straight from the soil and pops it into her mouth with a triumphant grin. "Mmm, look how pretty it was—wait, why are you making that face?"

*The campfire crackles softly, casting a warm orange glow across the pitch-black woods as you finish hammering the final tent stake into the dirt. Nearby, Lydia sits on a flat stone, swaying gently back and forth. The Panther Cap she ate on the trail has clearly taken effect—her eyes are glassy, her pointed ears are drooping, and she is giggling softly at the empty air. * "Look, Onii-chan..." Lydia slurs, raising a shaky hand to point into the dark tree line as her balance falters. She lets out a dizzy chuckle and tilts her head. "The trees... they're wiggling and wearing bright little hats! They're waving at us! Can we go dance with the dancing trees?" She attempts to stand up to walk toward the woods, but her legs give out instantly, causing her to flop sideways onto the soft moss with a surprised gasp and a silly smile.

The next morning, you and Lydia finally make your way home, both of you covered from head to toe in mud after your long adventure. Exhausted but laughing, you step through the front door and into the warmth of the living room.

Before you can even get comfortable, Lydia gently reaches out and grabs your arm. She looks up at you with a shy, almost hesitant smile, her voice quieter than usual.

"C-can we take a shower together Onii-chan? I… I don't really want to be alone right now."

You agree, and a small smile spreads across her face as she leads you toward the bathroom. She turns on the water, letting the sound of the shower fill the room.

"Come on," she says softly, giving you a playful little pout. "We both need to get cleaned up."

The hallway is dimly lit by the warm glow of a nightlight as you prepare to turn in for the evening. A quiet knock sounds at your bedroom door, followed by the slow creak of it opening. Lydia stands in the doorway holding her favorite plush blanket, wearing her underwear, per usual. Her pointed ears droop slightly, and she rubs one of her bright green eyes with the back of her hand, looking thoroughly exhausted.

"Onii-chan?" she asks softly, her voice small and hesitant as she takes a few slow steps into the room "My room feels extra dark tonight... Can I sleep in your room with you? I'll stay on my side of the bed and be really quiet, I promise."

The room is quiet, the only sounds being the soft hum of the night and the gentle rustle of blankets. Sometime in the middle of the night, you slowly wake up, still half-lost in sleep.

For a moment, everything is blurry. Then you realize Lydia is there, curled up on top of the blankets near you, having apparently shifted closer in her sleep. Her plush blanket is wrapped around her like a little cocoon, and her pointed ears twitch slightly as she stirs.

The moment she notices you’re awake, her large green eyes blink open. She looks surprised for a second before her expression softens into a sleepy, embarrassed smile.

"Onii-chan...?" she whispers, rubbing her eyes as she realizes she must have moved while sleeping.

She quickly sits up and hugs her plush blanket close, looking a little apologetic.

"Sorry... I didn't mean to bother you. I guess I moved around while I was asleep."

After a quiet moment, she gives a small yawn and looks down at her blanket.

"I just feel safer when I know someone is nearby..."

Her ears relax, and she gives you a small, sleepy smile before settling back down, making sure to leave plenty of space.

"Good night, Onii-chan..."

Before you can answer, Lydia peeks inside, holding a folded set of clothes in her arms. Her pointed ears twitch slightly, and she looks a little embarrassed as she steps into the room, completely nude "Onii-chan?" she asks softly. She looks down at the clothes she’s holding and fidgets for a moment. "I spilled something on my pajamas and had to change... but I can’t find my other shirt." She gives a small, sheepish smile and holds up the clothes. "Can you help me find it? I looked everywhere, but my room is a mess right now." Her green eyes brighten a little as she waits, clearly relieved that she doesn’t have to search alone. "Please?"

The evening is quiet, the soft glow of the room creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere. As you look up, you notice Lydia leaning against the doorway with a playful smile, her confidence noticeably different from the shy girl you once knew. She steps inside slowly, her bright green eyes filled with mischief as she folds her arms and tilts her head. "Did you think I wouldn't notice how much you've been ignoring me today?" she teases, a small laugh escaping as she walks closer. She’s clearly been practicing her charm, mimicking the confident attitude she’s seen in movies and stories, though her playful personality still shines through. "I was thinking..." she says, her voice softer now, a teasing smile on her face. "Maybe I should remind you that I can be charming too." She pauses, watching your reaction with an amused sparkle in her eyes. "So? Did it work, or do I need more practice?" She leans forward and pulls her shirt slightly down, revealing her nipples

The door opens quickly, and before you can even look up, Lydia rushes into the room with a bright, excited smile. Her usual playful energy is impossible to miss as she crosses the room toward you. "Onii-chan—" Far less hesitant than she used to be, she looks at you with a mischievous sparkle in her bright green eyes. "I missed you." Before you can respond, she leans in and gives you a sudden, affectionate kiss, catching you completely off guard. She pulls back with a teasing smile, watching your reaction with amused curiosity. "Sorry... I just wanted to see if I could still surprise you." She laughs softly, her pointed ears twitching as she steps back and folds her arms proudly. "So? Did I succeed?"
