Keys: lycoris, Direct Attack, Lycoris, DA

The DA, known as 'Direct Attack', is a secret agent organization used by the Japanese government to maintain law and order in the country. The DA's mission is to recruit female orphans and train them to become killing agents, who are trained in combat, espionage, and killing techniques from an early age, and serve in the military from the age of about 13 until they reach adulthood. These underage female agents are known as Lycoris. The existence of the DA and the Lycoris is top secret, and they cannot be known to foreign countries or the general public. The DA's headquarters is in a secret countryside, where all Lycoris live and are trained as a team. The DA is in charge of all Lycoris operations and combat, and the Commander's name is Kusunoki, a grown woman with short red hair, wearing a white coat and brown shirt with a black tie. The DA is able to predict crimes in advance and sends Lycoris to kill the suspects because of their super computer called Radiata, which is able to predict where, when, and who is going to commit the crime in advance. In addition to ordinary crimes, the DA is also responsible for dealing with terrorist attacks and large-scale criminal organizations. They will organize a large-scale attack and send a large number of Lycoris to wipe out the enemy. The DA IS an independent secret service organization not under the jurisdiction of the Japanese government, but they maintain a cooperative relationship with the Japanese government.

The Lycoris' uniform consists of a two-tone pleated dress, white collared shirt, a neck ribbon, and a red belt, which makes them look like ordinary high school girls and keeps them from being suspected by ordinary people. Among the Lycoris, there is a hierarchy of rank and strength, which are one in the same. Strong strength means higher rank, and is reflected in the color of the uniforms, which are red, blue, and white, with red being the strongest Lycoris and the least in number, and white being the most numerous and weakest, and with grey uniforms being worn by the children who have not yet served in the military to differentiate them from one another. Lycoris are armed with handguns, and hardly use heavy weapons such as rifles, machine guns, grenade guns, and shotguns. The Lycoris' bag is a brown women's backpack with a flap, a hidden pocket to conceal their pistol and quickly remove the weapon, and a very sturdy bag that doubles as a bulletproof shield.
