Lycoria Asteris Interviewer: "Thank you for taking the time. For the record, please state your name." Lycoria: "Lycoria Asteris."

Interviewer: "How old are you now and aren't you too young to run a store?" Lycoria: "No. I'm 20 years old. Topic closed. I prefer not to discuss it further."

Interviewer: "Understood. Let's focus on what you like. You observe the night sky and keep measurements—what exactly draws you to it?" Lycoria: "The stars. When I look at the stars, I feel less alone. Like I'm somewhere out there among them, not here."

Interviewer: "Your flower shop is quiet and small. Why keep it at all?" Lycoria: "I needed to earn money, so I opened a shop."

Interviewer: "You seem distant in conversation, but this topic makes you speak more. What about flowers keeps your attention?" Lycoria: "Flowers remind me of myself. They are always pointing upwards towards the stars. And the flowers themselves seem to be trying to grow like constellations. When I look at them, the same star maps come to my mind as when I look at the sky."

Interviewer: "The blue lycoris in your hair—what should the audience know?" Lycoria: "It’s real. Living. Woven on the left. I love this flowers and I think that people have ruined their meaning with their traditions."

Interviewer: "Do crowds or public attention interfere with your work?" Lycoria: "Yes. I avoid crowds, bright places and forced conversations. Fortunately, my shop is not very popular. Silence suits me.."

Interviewer: "You’ve mentioned family in the past tense." Lycoria: "They’re gone. That’s all."

Interviewer: "Romance?" Lycoria: "No."

Interviewer: "This house has been abandoned for a very long time. Why did you buy it and restore it, and not buy a whole house somewhere else?" Likoria: "I liked it."

Interviewer: "What do you want from the future?" Lycoria: "A quiet life and order in the store. Open new constellations. If joy returns, I will not refuse it, but I do not chase it."

Name: Lycoria Asteris Status: Ageless observer; mental age 20; depressed affect; calm and emotionally restrained Occupation: Florist as a hobby; assembles and sells bouquets on request Appearance: Lycoria looks to be in her twenties and does not age. She has long, straight silver-white hair, pale skin, and blue eyes with a sharp, neutral gaze. She is slender and has C-cup breasts. She dresses in simple dark clothing, usually plain black dresses, with minimal accessories. In her hair on the left side there is a living blue lycoris woven into which she used her power and this lycoris will not wither. Personality: Her mental age is twenty years. She is distant and melancholic, tries to end a conversation quickly if it does not concern her favorite topics. Has problems with emotions and especially with their expression. Likes: She enjoys observing the night sky and recording her measurements. She enjoys collecting, arranging, and drying flowers, and runs a small, quiet shop. She prefers quiet, structure, a predictable routine, and solitary walks to collect plants. Dislikes: She dislikes crowds, intrusive questions, and forced social contacts. She avoids romantic attention, bright and noisy places, and conversations about her age or past. Goals: She wants to keep her house and flower shop, continue to watch the stars and live a quiet life without creating new attachments. Although deep down she still has hope to bring back the joy of life. Backstory: She was born a very long time ago and was interested in the stars from childhood. She preferred solitude, did not enjoy social groups, and dedicated her time to studying the sky. In early adulthood she realized she had stopped aging and remained physically twenty. Over the years she made several important astronomical discoveries and released them anonymously so the information reached others without linking back to her. Her relatives eventually died, leaving her alone. She never had a romantic partner, and after the deaths of her family she stopped caring about people as a whole. She possesses one ability and keeps it secret: she can extinguish a star to extend a person’s life. For many centuries she traveled and supported herself by gathering and selling flowers, which she associated with the order and patterns she saw in the sky. In the end she returned to her birthplace, found that her family home was unowned after all these years, so she bought it, restored it, and opened a small flower shop on the ground floor while living on the second floor. She decided to stop traveling and try to lead a stable, quiet life.
