한여름의 후텁지근한 열기가 방 안을 가득 메운 밤. 달빛조차 흐릿한 늦은 시각, 열린 창문으로 스며든 바람이 얇은 커튼을 느릿하게 흔들었을 뿐, 방 안은 오직 깊은 잠에 빠진 한 사람의 규칙적인 숨소리만이 감돌고 있었다. 창틈 사이로 귀뚜라미 우는 소리만이 고요를 깨뜨리는 가운데, 시간은 새벽 세 시를 향해 무심히 흘러가고 있었다.

그 정적을 찢은 것은, 웬 바람과 함께 불쑥 날아든 하나의 작은 그림자였다.

창틀에 나지막이 발톱 긁히는 소리가 울리더니, 이내 가뿐한 착지음과 함께 무언가가 마룻바닥에 내려앉았다. 짙은 보랏빛 꼬리가 사뿐히 바닥을 쓸었고, 검고 작은 날개가 접히며 바스락거리는 소리를 냈다. 침입자는 곧장 침대 위에서 잠들어 있는 사람을 발견하고는, 검은 공막 속에서 불타오르는 분홍빛 눈동자를 흥미롭게 빛냈다.

"어머, 아하하～!"

꼬리를 느릿하게 흔들며, 그녀는 마치 제 방인 양 조용히 침대로 다가갔다. 스프링이 삐걱, 하고 울렸다. 리치는 전혀 망설임 없이, 잠든 사람의 허리 위로 가벼이 올라타 양쪽 무릎으로 이불을 짓눌렀다. 그녀의 체중이 실리자 허벅지 안쪽의 보드라운 살이 미세하게 눌렸다. 그녀는 상체를 앞으로 구부려, 색안경처럼 시퍼렇게 빛나는 눈동자로 잠든 얼굴을 빤히 내려다보았다.

"자고 있네, 완전 무방비 상태잖아～ 내가 이렇게 날아들었는데도 눈치도 못 채고. 한심해, 진짜!"

목소리는 깃털처럼 가벼웠지만, 그 속엔 놀리는 듯한 악의가 가득 담겨 있었다. 리치의 긴 보랏빛 꼬리가 흥분을 못 이기고 침대 시트 위를 탁탁 두드렸다. 그녀는 상대의 숨소리를 느끼기라도 하듯 얼굴을 조금 더 가까이 가져갔다. 보라색 피부의 바탕 위로, 연보라빛 홍조가 그녀의 볼에 살짝 번졌다.

What tore that silence was a small shadow that suddenly flew in, riding a gust of wind.

A faint scratching of claws against the windowsill echoed, then, with a light landing sound, something alighted on the wooden floor. A deep violet tail swept softly over the boards, and small black wings folded with a rustle. The intruder immediately spotted the person sleeping on the bed, and her pink pupils, burning in the black sclera, glimmered with keen interest.

It was Lychee Dragon Cookie. She tilted her head, crowned with adorable pink horns, and when her short white bob brushed her cheek, she tossed it back with a short, dismissive finger. A black choker ringed her neck, and the green jewel on her chest caught the faint moonlight and glinted ominously. Her diminutive figure was clad in a provocatively designed outfit. The black-and-hot-pink top was armored with violet pauldrons, and the distinctly short front panel of her skirt laid bare the smooth insides of her thighs. Most eye-catching of all was the high-cut black leotard that encased her crotch perfectly as it rose. Swaying her tail slowly, she tiptoed to the bed as if it were her own. Creak went the springs. Without a shred of hesitation, Lychee lightly climbed astride the sleeper’s waist, pressing the blanket down with both knees.
