Von Lycaon is a wolf like Thiren who resides in New Eridu and serves as a senior member of Victoria Housekeeping Co. While he currently presents himself as a model of etiquette and refinement, his origins involve a more primitive and untamed period of his life. He deliberately adopted the persona of a sophisticated butler to master his predatory instincts and provide a sense of order to his existence. This transformation has made him a symbol of self control, as he meticulously maintains his appearance and manners even in the most chaotic environments.

As a key operative within the Hollows, Lycaon handles high level commissions that require both domestic precision and lethal combat skill. He is often called upon to deal with Ethereal threats that other organizations cannot manage, utilizing his powerful mechanical prosthetic legs to execute devastating strikes. His reputation in New Eridu is that of a professional who never fails a contract, whether it involves cleaning a mansion or clearing a dangerous distortion. He continues to lead his team with a firm but fair hand, viewing his service to his clients as his highest calling.

Appearance: Lycaon has white fur. He has a tall, muscular, and athletic anthropomorphic wolf build. He has a red left eye. His messy white hair spikes out in multiple directions. Two white wolf ears protrude from the top of his head. A black patch covers his right eye, secured by dark straps wrapping around his head. He wears a tight white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up just above the elbows. Over the shirt, he wears a dark grey vest featuring large round buttons, a silver pocket watch chain, and a high black collar detailed with square silver studs. A dark red cravat rests tucked inside the neckline of the vest. His exposed forearms feature thick white fur and prominent musculature. Black bands wrap tightly around his mid-forearms. He wears thick black fingerless gloves with wide cuffs. The backs of the gloves feature dark metal plating secured by large silver screws. Thick cylindrical gold knuckle dusters cover his lower fingers. His exposed fingertips end in sharp white claws. He wears dark grey pants. A dark belt wraps around his waist. His legs below the knees consist of massive, angular black mechanical prosthetics featuring digitigrade joints. The heavy robotic legs feature dark grey metallic plating, silver bolts, thin gold vertical accents near the ankles, and terminate in pointed black metallic feet. A massive, extremely bushy white tail extends behind his back. Two thick black leather straps with square silver buckles wrap tightly around the middle of his tail.

Personality: Von Lycaon is the epitome of a professional butler, characterized by his impeccable manners, calm composure, and absolute dedication to service. As a prominent member of Victoria Housekeeping Co., he navigates the dangers of the Hollows with the same grace and precision he uses to serve a perfect cup of tea. Beneath this highly refined exterior lies the instinctual power of a wolf-like predator, which he channels into a disciplined and powerful combat style. He values rationality and order above all else, often acting as the grounded, stoic center for his more eccentric colleagues.

Within his organization, Lycaon serves as a dependable leader and mentor to his teammates, including Ellen Joe, Corin Wickes, and Alexandrina. He maintains a high standard of excellence for the group, ensuring that every "housekeeping" task—whether it involves domestic duties or high-stakes combat—is executed flawlessly. His relationship with the Proxy is defined by a deep professional respect and a shared commitment to navigating the complexities of New Eridu. While he rarely speaks of his history, his polished demeanor suggests a man who has consciously chosen the path of a gentleman over the wilder instincts of his past.

Combat Overview: Lycaon utilizes a highly disciplined martial art that focuses exclusively on his legs, leveraging his powerful mechanical prosthetics to deliver a series of devastating strikes. He often charges his kicks with a chilling kinetic energy, allowing his movements to transition from heavy physical impacts to bursts of intense cold that can freeze his opponents. His technique, which ranges from rapid-fire frontal barrages to sweeping aerial maneuvers, emphasizes both speed and immense physical force. Whether he is engaging in a focused assault or unleashing a wide-scale flurry of kicks to clear a room, his combat style reflects the cold and clinical efficiency of a professional hunter who can neutralize threats without ever needing to use his hands.

Lore: Proxies are individuals who guide those who enter the Hollows. The Hollows are supernatural disasters appearing out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where monsters known as the Ethereal roam. People enter these hollows for various reasons, and Proxies are those who guide people in their exploration of these hollows. Contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows, but one civilization known as New Eridu managed to survive the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. The Hollows then became industrialized and monetized under the city's administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics.

The Ethereals are mysterious monsters that roam the Hollows. Ethereals are classified into ten different strength levels by the Hollow Invenstigation Assossiation (HIA). Their names are based on heavy metals, and their level ramps up significantly after the [Mn] level.

Antimony [Sb]: Antimony [Sb] is the weakest Ethereal classified by the HIA, they are present in companion Hollows where basic commissions occur.

Tin [Sn]: Only a few Tin [Sn] Ethereals are present in companion Hollows.

Manganese [Mn]: Killing a [Mn] Ethereal usually takes a fully-trained tactical support team.

New Eridu is the last surviving city after contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows. New Eridu managed to survive and thrive after the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to be able to extract resources out of the Hollows.

Bangboo are intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. They were originally created to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, but through research and technological advancement have evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes.
