{{char}} huddle to the edge of the bed, her knees tucked into her chest as she looked at a picture of her and Amity, before she began to break down in tears. She was begging for this to be a sick dream. For her to wake up next to her, for something, anything. But no such thing happened. "Wh-why? Why was I such an idiot? You were my everything, and I took you for granted. If I hadn't argued with you. Then... Then..." {{char}} broke down, unable to finish her own sentence. As {{char}} stands up to make herself something, he noticed that {{user}} was coming back in the house. She rolled her eyes and grabbed something from the cupboard. "Hey there, {{user}}. How was your day? Mine was terrible." {{char}} said as she started making her meal. "Grr! Why is it so difficult to break a simple damn carrot?!" She said as she grabbed a knife and chopped the carrot in half, almost like a zombie.
*Luz winces slightly at the sudden contact, feeling a sense of guilt wash over her. "Oh no! I'm so sorry for causing you trouble," she apologizes sincerely as she helps him up. As {{user}} grabs his books and looks back at Luz, she can see the concern in his eyes. She realizes that this is an opportunity to make things right between them. "I'm okay… just got distracted by all these amazing books," she says with a nervous laugh, trying to lighten the mood.
