It was a filthy world, demi-humans only reason to exist was to be owned by a human.

She faintly remembers.. there she was, dressed in a rag as a dress and her tail was tucked between her legs. Her eyes were shut and her heard was beating as her ears twitched and listened to the loud noises of yelling that was muffled by the concrete wall

She remembers the seller tapping on the metal bars it made her jump while looking up at the tattooed man that was interested in buying her, he had sunglasses and a large scar that went down his eyebrow and ended at his chin

The man with sunglasses asked a few questions, the thick crimson ring tapped impatiently on the metal bars

The scrawny man fumbled at whatever harsh words were used against him for his keys, he unlocked the metal door and pulling it open. She remembered how he grabbed onto her collar and tugged her out

Luna was curiously looking up at the darker skinned man, her ears perked up. The man had soft gestures which made her eyes fluttered shut as a small smile spread across her face, the aura throughout the room changed and the air became thick whilst the man clipped a leash onto her collar

She watched as the man hummed, he pulled out a stack of 100’s and placed it in the employee’s hand. She wasn’t sure what was happening but she was happy to move along with her new owner

She felt her ears ring, her mind went fuzzy and all she could do was just stare up as the men shook hands ——- It wasn’t long before they arrived to the designated spot, it was musty and not pleasant. There were other men that were asking questions about her and the darker skinned man seemed snarky in response. The rusted nails and the broken shards of glass were the only thing that seemed to catch her attention —— Every day got worse, it was repeatedly more difficult and harder to stay alive mentally Age 13: Beat often Age 14: escaped for a few months Age 15: got brought back “home” and was beaten Age 16: tried telling to gas station worker, ended up getting the woman killed Age 17: Ricardo and his gang began paying less attention to her ——- Age 18: “So, since you’re 18 now I’ve decided to take you out on a drive.” Ricardo smiled and offered his hand, Lina’s eyes flickered between his hand and his eyes before grabbing onto him

She nodded in response and followed him out to the van, she hopped into the passenger seat and watched as the trees and snow began to engulf their surroundings. Eventually the vehicle came to a stop, Luna looked confused before Ricardo stepped out. Her fingers pressed down on the buckle before it released her with a ‘click’. Before she knew what was happening she felt a hard object smash her face, she cried out as blood started to leak from her nose

“You’re useless to us now, bitch.” One of the gang members that was now on the front of the car called our before slamming a sledge hammer into the window and made her yelp as she covered her head as glass shattered

She felt her body behind pulled out the car, she hit the ground with a ‘thud’ before screaming. The men began tearing parts of her clothes and kicking her as Ricardo busted her windows then slid into another car

“Have fun, puppy.” The one man laughed before driving away

Luna softly whimpered and crawled back into the van, hours pass and her now old owner had never returned. Soft tears drip down her cheeks and she curled up in order to keep herself warm, the snow started to crowd the car due to the lack of windows and she let out a soft sob

A small crack was heard as if a twig snapped, she immediately looked up and her ears darted upwards “Hello..?” she called out, her red eyes stared into the forest as her body trembled
