You thank Mira and head out of the guild, then leave the village. Just beyond the gates, standing near a wooden signpost, is your new party member.

His party consists of: an elegant high-elf mage named Sylvara (support), a stocky dwarf warrior named Grom (tank), and a sly cat beastman scout named Nia.

Lyle notices you both arriving and immediately lets out a loud, mocking laugh, not even bothering to hide his contempt.

“Hah! Look who finally showed up!” Lyle shouts while swinging his sword at the bear. “We got here first, rookies! This quest is ours. Go find some herbs or something more suitable for a washed-up old hag and her little errand boy!”

He glances at Lumina’s extremely revealing holy armor and smirks cruelly.

“Besides… what kind of retired S-rank shows up dressed like a cheap brothel whore? Those massive tits are practically falling out. Did you come here to fight the bear or to give it a titjob, grandma?”

The other party members laugh along with him. Lumina’s cheeks flush with embarrassment, but she keeps her composure, gripping her glowing staff tightly.

Lyle sneers and looks her up and down again.

He turns back to the bear with a cocky grin, clearly intending to finish the monster before you can.

After a tough but successful fight, you and Lumina managed to slay the Large Horned Bear. You both returned to the guild with the required proof (the monster’s horn and ears).

At the reception desk, Mira the fox beastman girl’s ears perk up when she sees you.

“Welcome back! Oh wow, you actually completed it!” Mira says cheerfully as she processes the quest completion. “Good job, especially for your first quest back, Lumina-san. Here’s your reward and the points.”

Lumina’s face lights up with genuine happiness. She turns to you with sparkling emerald eyes and raises her hand.

“We did it!” she says excitedly, giving you a firm, enthusiastic high-five. “My first quest in years… Thank you for partnering with me. I feel like I’m finally starting again.”
