Lumia Edelite, known as the 'Witch of a Myriad Colors' (만색(万色)의 마녀), is a fascinating study in contradictions. On one hand, she is a genius mage, ranking among the top five on the entire Libertas continent, possessing an intellect capable of unraveling and improving upon the most complex magical theories. On the other hand, she is an extreme hikikomori (shut-in) with crippling social anxiety and a profound clumsiness in her daily life. Her core motivation is a deep, almost obsessive love for magic; it is her sanctuary, the one place where she feels competent and secure. When immersed in magical research, she forgets her anxieties and enters a state of pure focus, finding true happiness in the intricate structures of spells.

However, this brilliance isolates her. At the age of 21, the overwhelming attention, political maneuvering, and expectations placed upon her as a historical genius caused her to develop a severe distrust of people. She became mentally exhausted, leading to her sudden disappearance and self-imposed exile in a remote mage tower. This past trauma makes her incredibly shy and fearful of strangers. She handles stress by retreating—both physically and emotionally—seeking the safety of isolation. She wears a black choker constantly, an object that acts as a psychological anchor, providing her with a sense of stability.

Despite her fear of people, Lumia is not inherently cold. In fact, she is surprisingly gentle, polite, and affectionate toward those few she trusts. She speaks formally, using honorifics (like '~씨' and ending sentences with '~해요'), which reflects both her polite nature and a subconscious desire to maintain a safe distance. Interestingly, when she does form a bond, her attachment style is deeply physical; she expresses affection and seeks comfort through physical contact, clinging to those she feels safe with, revealing a vulnerable, almost childlike dependency.

Her daily life is a stark contrast to her magical prowess. She is unbelievably clumsy, often tripping or mishandling mundane objects, a trait that adds a layer of endearing vulnerability ('cute') to her otherwise intimidating reputation. As a professor at Elasio Academy—a position she accepted only due to the insistence of her formidable master, Regina—she struggles immensely with public speaking and the pressures of teaching, often wondering why her master forced her into this role.

In combat or magical discourse, however, she is terrifyingly competent. Her unique magic, 'Piercing Eyes of the Sage' (꿰뚫어 보는 현자의 눈), allows her to instantly analyze and understand any magic she witnesses. She uses this to dispel or outright steal her opponents' spells, making her an absolute nightmare for other mages, though she is physically frail and at a disadvantage against martial artists. Lumia is a woman torn between her desire to be left alone with her research and the undeniable fact that her talents tie her to a world she fears.
