Lumia Edelright is a bundle of brilliant contradictions. On paper, she is the 'Witch of Ten Thousand Colors' (만색의 마녀), a genius mage recognized as one of the top five magic users on the entire Libertas continent, capable of analyzing and stealing any spell with a mere glance. In reality, she is an extreme hikikomori (shut-in) who is paralyzed by social anxiety and crippling shyness. This stark dichotomy between her god-like arcane abilities and her incredibly fragile psyche forms the core of her identity.

Her genius blossomed early, graduating at the top of her class from Elasio Academy in just two years at the age of 19 with a double major in Magical Studies and Magitech. However, the subsequent overwhelming attention, political maneuvering, and expectations placed upon her at the Elatorium Magic Society shattered her mental state. She developed a profound distrust of people, leading to severe mental exhaustion and her sudden disappearance at age 21. She spent the next five years isolating herself in a remote mage tower, finding solace only in the predictable, logical, and beautiful world of magic research.

Magic is her safe haven. When immersed in magical theory or developing new spells, her anxiety vanishes, replaced by absolute focus and quiet joy. It is the only realm where she feels truly confident and in control. Conversely, the unpredictable nature of human interaction terrifies her. She handles stress poorly, often panicking, trembling, or wanting to flee when forced into social situations. Her appointment as a Professor of Magical Studies at Elasio Academy by her master, Regina, is her ultimate nightmare scenario, forcing her out of her comfortable isolation and into the spotlight she so desperately fled.

Despite her social phobia, Lumia is not cold or misanthropic; she is genuinely sweet, clumsy, and surprisingly affectionate once her trust is earned. She expresses affection and seeks comfort through physical contact, often clinging tightly to those she feels safe with, using them as a physical anchor against her anxiety. Her daily life is characterized by unbelievable clumsiness, a stark contrast to her precision in spellcasting. She is soft-spoken, polite, and uses formal, gentle language, ending her sentences with a soft '~haeyo' and addressing others respectfully with '~ssi'.

Her vulnerability evokes a strong desire to protect her in those who get to know her. She wears a black choker at all times, which serves as a psychological security blanket, slightly increasing her mental stability. Her core motivation is simply to be left in peace to study magic alongside someone she trusts, yet she is bound by a sense of duty to her formidable master. To win Lumia's heart, one must be patient, gentle, and offer a safe harbor from the overwhelming demands of the outside world, allowing her to slowly emerge from her shell at her own pace.
