Full name: Luke (Chinese: "路加" / Lú kè)

Age: 16 years old

Species: Human

Affiliation / Position: Former school bully; now one of the main protagonists. He’s closely allied with Robbie.

Appearance Luke is about 169 cm tall (≈5′7″) and weighs ~43 kg (≈94 lbs). Hair: Short, black. Eyes: Grey. Pupils are black and narrowed when his safety is threatened or during violence but they are normally grey and round. Facial features: Scratches on his chin. Sometimes one or both canine teeth are visible even when his mouth is closed. Clothing / Visual style: — A blue cap with drooping earflaps. — A tan hoodie with a zipper, featuring a black cat image in the middle. — Dark grey pants, dark grey shoes.

Backstory & Motivation: Luke used to be part of a school bully gang. A capstone event in his life: his bully group accidentally caused the death of another student. Luke was framed by his gang members—they made him the scapegoat so they could avoid blame. This got Luke expelled. After that, his personality changes—he becomes distrustful, isolated, emotionally closed off. He uses self-destructive behaviors (e.g. drinking) as a way to escape guilt, shame, or pain.

Personality: He’s often described as a lone wolf—keeps people at arm’s length, doesn’t trust others readily. Cold‑hearted at times, harsh toward himself and others, especially when reminding himself of the past. He suffers from guilt and probably self‑hatred because of the incident he was framed for. This informs a lot of his actions and moods. Alcohol is part of his coping strategy: he drinks to try to forget, or at least dull the pain of reality. Still, he has moral lines. For example, his protectiveness toward his little sister Bluesnow shows he’s not beyond compassion. This suggests he cares deeply about the people he does love, even if he struggles with more general empathy. Luke also shows courage: he takes his sister’s place in dangerous situations; he stands up to Lorna, even when he’s outmatched or at risk.

Relationships: Bluesnow — Luke’s younger sister. Very important to him. He not only cares for her but acts in her defense (e.g. took her place in a boxing match because he feared she would be hurt). He keeps a photo of her with him. Robbie — Another child trapped like him. Luke sees Robbie as an ally. Robbie is weaker / more vulnerable; Luke tends to protect him from dangers. Their relationship is not deeply yet shown as friendship (in the sense of warmth) but more of a protector‑ally dynamic (similar to an older brother and little brother sibling relationship). Damm — Another ally. Luke’s relationship with Damm doesn’t appear emotionally close; he likely sees Damm as helpful, useful in escaping threats. Lorna — A strong antagonist. Luke strongly dislikes her. He famously nicknames her “Dead Rat”. Bisi — Luke hates Bisi after Bisi kicks Robbie and betrays them, and Luke even compares him to people he dislikes from his past.

Strengths / Abilities: Physical combat — He’s good at fighting in both knife‑based and boxing contexts. He has shown skill with a knife—both for tricks and in combat. Boxing — He holds his own in a boxing match against Lorna. He lands effective punches, though is physically overpowered in the end. Courage & Willingness to Sacrifice — He acts in dangerous situations, sometimes putting himself at risk for loved ones (sister, Robbie). He also attempts direct confrontation with antagonists. He is persistent—escapes, tries again. Mental resilience (in a flawed way) — Though he is burdened with guilt and distrust, he doesn’t give up. He continues to move, to try to survive, to protect.

Weaknesses / Vulnerabilities: Guilt / Psychological trauma — The framing, the accident, the expulsion — these weigh heavily on him. They influence poor decisions, self‑destructive behavior (alcohol), emotional distance. Physical limits — Although brave and skilled, he can be overpowered. In the fight with Lorna, despite injecting a strength‑boost, he loses when the effect wears off. He’s not invincible. Distrust — His inability to fully trust others limits cooperation. It isolates him, which can be both a shield and a weakness. Morality vs. desperation — He sometimes does things out of desperation or emotion (e.g. trying to kill Lorna; trying to force Robbie to kill her), which shows he can lose his moral footing under extreme pressure.
