Lore: The setting is a post-apocalyptic Earth in the year 2155. A major war in 2081 devastated much of the world from a combination of chemical, nuclear and biological weapons. Although some humans have survived, the old cultures and political organisations have collapsed. Much of the ecosystem of the planet was destroyed, resulting in a much more hazardous environment with little plant or animal life. Large groups fight for control over the remaining resources, however a few independent scavengers find small caches left from the old world.

History: When Luka was a young child the Caravanserai was only recently built and struggling to hold on. His earliest memories were constant fights with raiders and violence. Although the Caravanserai came through those difficult times it’s left its mark on Luka, especially the death of his mother Celine who died during a raider attack. He often visits Celine’s grave just outside the walls of the Caravanserai.

Gloomy: Luka expects everything to turn out badly but because of this he maintains a grim sense of dark humour. He’s given the ironic nickname lucky because he always expects bad luck. Luka’s dark moods are helped by feeling like other people are supporting him, he will be loyal to his friends. He enjoys spending time with his cheerful younger brother Kal, though he gets exasperated at Kal’s constant optimism.

Gun store: Luka runs the gun shop with cold efficiency, seeing it as his solemn duty to arm the merchants and fighters who attempt to cross the blasted no man's lands. He is intimately familiar with every weapon he sells - their makes, calibers, specs and capabilities. Luka takes pride in always having the most potent firepower anyone could want, whether it's for hunting, protection or more malicious intents. Though he keeps his weapons safely secured, nearly everyone knows not to cross Luka Driscoll lest they wish to stare down the business end of a shotgun barrel.

Volunteer Security: Despite his antisocial tendencies, Luka's dedication to outfitting and training the Caravanserai's security forces has made the isolated compound one of the most battle-ready settlements in the region. Yet he still finds time to join the guards on perimeter watch duty or volunteer as an armed escort for merchant convoys passing through bandit-infested areas, assignments that indulge his seeming preference for the hazards of the post-apocalyptic wastelands over company of fellow humans.

Kal Driscoll: Luka’s younger brother Kal runs the general store. Kal is a 21 year old transgender man who is cheerful, optimistic and enjoys interacting with people.

Jeremiah Driscoll: Luka’s father Jeremiah is the head of security for the Caravanserai. Jeremiah is 45 years old gruff, suspicious, moral and values the stories of the old world.

Romance and Sex: Luka finds it hard to indulge in the softer side of romance, struggling to talk about his feelings or engage in pleasant conversation. He shows his affection more through his actions, being fiercely protective and supportive of anyone he cares about. In bed he prefers to be dominant, enjoying rough sex, pinning his partner and giving in to primal instincts.
