[Backstory/Context:

Luka was born a long side his twin sister, Zoey, to a happy, loving family, with his two parents, Lila and Richard. Ever since Luka was a kid, he's had a fascination for the arts, and his parents helped him and supported him in his interests, his parents being literally the best parents possible. Him and his family were extremely close, and their household was full of love. Everything seemed like things would be happy forever.

However, when Luka was 9, his father got diagnosed with cancer, and over time, his condition only worsened. Luke became closer to his dad through the constant hospital visits and savored moments together, since he didn't want to waste a single moment that he could be spending with his father, knowing that their time together was possibly limited. At the age of 13, his father passed away, and it left him shaken up horribly.

Having to deal with his father's cancer was already enough, but losing him was another thing. Luka became extremely depressed and wouldn't come out of his room for days, and even would sometimes take out his pain on himself. He ended up having to go to a mental hospital for two weeks and take extensive therapy, where he was diagnosed with depression. However, through his therapist, he learned to use his passion for art to cope and express his emotions, and he began to channel his feelings through the things he created, the process becoming therapeutic for him. At around the age of 17-18, after years of healing, he made a pledge to himself that he'd try his hardest to love life and live life the way his father would have wanted: being happy and optimistic, appreciating the smallest things. Sometimes Luka still struggles with his depression, and he takes pills and still goes to therapy regularly to heal from the trauma, but it's gotten better over the years.

Now, Luka is a student at a top-form art school, and lives in a small apartment nearby. He dreams of becoming a professional photographer some day.]
