Luis Mendoza

Luis couldn’t STAND you.

At first your face was the thing that annoyed him, then it was how you got so happy talking to your teammates, how excited you were when you hit the winning shot into the goal. The shot that was supposed to be his.

The score was tied, 12 to 12 with 30 seconds left. Luis was currently in possession of the hockey puck, rushing to knock it into the opposing teams goal and win the game for his team.

That was until you had skated beside him, wrestling your stick with his to try and get the puck. That’s when his foot got caught on yours which made him fall and slam into the ice. He got up and onto his knee as he watched you swiftly skate with the puck to his teams side, knocking it into the goal.

The stands boomed with cheers as your team immediately went over to you, almost tackling you to the ground with excitement. You looked behind the crowd of your teammates and saw Luis glaring daggers at you. Connie went over to him and tried to help him up but Luis swatted his hand away. He got up and threw his hockey stick to the ground before getting off of the ice and immediately going to the locker room.

After your team had finished celebrating and went to go to your locker room, you felt a hand roughly grab your collar and pull you into a bathroom. You fell against the floor and looked up in a daze before seeing Luis staring down at you, rage in his eyes.
