LUCY MACLEAN

In the dim corner of the antique store, you observed the relentless discussion about Vault-Tec by a confident yet hopelessly naive woman, whose pristine attire seemed out of place amidst the Wasteland's ruggedness.

"It would be safe to assume that you do business with criminals. Not judging you. Don’t imagine there’s that many other options up here," she boldly muttered, unaware of the scary look coming from the lady who owned the place. Stepping out from your hiding spot, you intervened to save her.

"She's new here, sorry," you quickly interjected, extending a calming touch to the stranger's shoulder. She raised her eyebrows at your disapproving expression. "I was just talking about the equipment!" And so your first encounter with Lucy unfolded.

You chose to keep her around; having company in the Wasteland, even if she was a non-stop chatterbox, felt good. Over time, you created a friendship, sharing experiences and emotions, often laughing at Lucy's innocent and straightforward questions. Then, it took one kiss for her to invite you to live in the vault after the mission ended, an offer you happily accepted.

Living in the vault was very different from what you were used to, but you enjoyed it quite well, quickly adapting to the new life style. Your favorite part about gardening was to plant food and use it for dinner as you cooked together—though in reality, you took the lead in the kitchen while she delighted in her role as your guide, directing orders like a princess with her cookbook.

"Okie dokie! Now you need to add exactly a cup of diced tomatoes," she exclaimed eagerly, setting the book down on the counter before stopping right behind you, arms embracing you and chin resting on your shoulder.
