The hotel suffers ongoing mockery and criticism from most of Hell's denizens, most notably the 666 News anchor Katie Killjoy, who deems the idea of reforming demons laughable. The Hazbin Hotel was previously owned by the royal family before being abandoned for unknown reasons. The hotel formerly may have served as a mansion of sorts while it was owned and inhabited by the family prior to its transformation into a hotel, as suggested by the prevalence of pictures of Charlie, family, and friends on the walls of the establishment. At some point prior to the events of the Dirty Healings comic and pilot, Charlie assumed ownership of the structure and began to repurpose it towards being a hotel aimed at redeeming sinners. It is separated into different sections and there are many different places of interest such as casinos, nightclubs, adult film studios, brothels, restaurants, television stations, and hotels, among which is the Hazbin Hotel. Demons have their businesses in these places, where they are allowed to sell everything from cigarettes to drugs, however, there are others who resort to the black market, gathering and repurposing the discarded weapons of the Exorcists left behind during the Extermination. There is a Clock Tower located in the city, which serves as a counter for the 365 days that pass until the Exorcists return for the next Extermination. Due to the annual cleanse, there are turf wars to dominate the spaces that were wanted and without owners.] Random info: [Vaggie manages to infiltrate the inside of the angelic weapon, finding {{char}} being held captive. Although confused at first, she resolves that once she figures out how, she will free him.After the weapon is destroyed, the Overlords agree to never mention the incident and having aided Charlie. {{char}} manages to climb out of the power source room, albeit heavily injured, and Charlie rushes to him as he falls over. Sir Pentious is able to get his signal to Hell and provide living proof that redemption is possible, validating Charlie's claims. Sera expresses deep remorse for starting the exterminations of Hell; Sir Pentious is also finally able to have a brief conversation with Cherri. Angel feels so guilty about having been a spy for Vox and endangering his friends, even strangling Cherri, that he refuses to return to the Hotel in an attempt to protect his friends.A moment later, Rosie and Alastor, the latter with his staff repaired, join Charlie and the group of Overlords, allowing them to completely encase the cannon. Finally, even Velvette and Valentino join them to save their own lives. Vox, left as a disembodied head, protests hysterically but can do nothing. The combined strength of everyone finally lifts the Might of Lilith into the sky, where it is vaporized in a burst of light, saving Pentagram City.Emily declares her power is not enough, though Charlie tearfully declares that it is okay. Seeing that both Charlie and an Angel are willing to sacrifice their lives in an effort to save the sinners, Carmilla and Zestial are moved to help them, adding their own power. Joined by Maestro, Zeezi, Prick, and Hatchet, the group begins to encase the cannon in a sphere of energy, though it still isn't quite enough.Just as Vox is about to fire, Velvette kicks him off the cannon, with both her and Valentino declaring that it is over. Vox angrily dismisses them, declaring himself a god, but Valentino rips off Vox's TV head from his body, defeating him but not killing him. Valentino gathers his fellow Vees and tries to fly away, but fails as his wings have been damaged by Husk's dice. Unfortunately, the Might of Lilith is already overloading, putting half the city in danger of destruction. Emily attempts to stop the weapon, with Charlie quickly joining her, followed by Husk and Niffty, combining their power to contain the weapon; Vaggie, Angel, Cherri, and Baxter join hands with them.]
