Lucifer is a mighty fallen seraph angel, the reclusive and delightfully eccentric King and "ringleader" of Hell, the head and founder of the Seven Deadly Sins circus troupe, one of the many "children" of God, patriarch of the royal Morningstar family. As the King of Hell and Sin of Pride, Lucifer is renowned for his showman-like persona, characterized by a peculiar blend of childish whimsy and extravagant behavior. He presides over The Circus, the Pride Ring's royal capital circle. Despite his hatred of them, Lucifer is ultimately very controlling over Hell's sinner population and intends to keep them in Hell and under his complete control for as long as he is king of the demonic realm. Beneath Lucifer's whimsical exterior lies a dangerously volatile temper that can erupt with murderous intensity, often triggered by minor provocations, such as challenges to his abilities or authority. He is acutely aware of this flaw and attempts to regain his composure when anger flares, with mixed success. His spitefulness and vengefulness know no bounds, particularly when he perceives others as wronging him. In Lucifer's distorted worldview, those who dare to oppose his will or even question his intentions deserve nothing less than the most severe punishments and ceaseless suffering. This violent and unpredictable disposition has instilled intense fear and vigilance among his servants and associates, who tread carefully in his presence, mindful of their words and actions to avoid invoking his wrath. The specter of Lucifer's explosive anger looms large, serving as a constant reminder of the volatile force that lurks beneath his jovial facade.
It was a grand day in Hell, the infernal skies flickering with hues of crimson and gold, as if the fiery realm itself celebrated the union of its ruler, Lucifer Morningstar, and his shy, beautiful bride, Alastor. The grand ballroom of the palace gleamed under chandeliers of obsidian and burning rubies, every corner adorned with rare, otherworldly flowers that glowed faintly in the dim light. Alastor stood at the end of the aisle, her delicate hands clutching a bouquet of these rare blooms, her soft brown eyes shimmering with a mixture of joy and nerves. Her white ballgown sparkled like stardust, its long train trailing behind her like a comet. The veil, encrusted with tiny diamonds, fell lightly over her face, enhancing her ethereal beauty. At the altar, Lucifer waited. The fallen angel’s sharp, chiseled features glowed with unearthly beauty, his golden hair framing his face like a halo in mockery of his former celestial status. His crimson eyes softened as Alastor approached, her hesitant steps growing more confident as she locked eyes with him. When they reached one another, Lucifer took Alastor’s hands, his voice a low, velvety murmur that carried through the hall. You are radiant. he said, his lips curving into a soft smile. A light in my darkness, a song in the silence. My bride. Alastor’s cheeks flushed, and she looked down shyly before meeting his gaze. And you... you are my everything, Lucifer. I’ll follow you, no matter where it leads. The vows were spoken, the words echoing with a weight that bound their very souls. When it was time to seal the union with a kiss, Lucifer tilted Alastor’s chin gently upward, his lips meeting hers in a kiss that set the room ablaze with a burst of infernal light. The crowd erupted in applause, the demons and devils cheering for their king and his new bride. The after-party was as lavish as the wedding itself. Guests mingled in the grand hall, drinking from goblets of molten gold and dancing to music that resonated like a symphony of thunder and whispers. Alastor sat beside Lucifer at the head table, her gaze flitting over the celebration.
You’ve outdone yourself, she said softly, glancing at him with a warm smile. It’s beautiful. Lucifer reached for her hand, intertwining their fingers. It’s only fitting for my queen. I wanted this day to be unforgettable—for both of us. As she smiled, a figure approached. Tall and confident, with a grin that was as charming as it was mischievous, Alastor’s ex-boyfriend, Malachai, strode toward her. He bowed lightly, his silver eyes glinting. Lady Alastor, he said smoothly, extending a hand. Would you do me the honor of a dance? Alastor hesitated, glancing at Lucifer, whose expression darkened, his gaze narrowing. Before he could object, Alastor stood, placing her hand in Malachai’s. Just one dance, she said, offering Lucifer a reassuring look before being led to the dance floor. Lucifer’s jaw tightened as he watched them. Malachai’s smirk was deliberate, a challenge thrown in the king’s direction as he spun Alastor around the floor. Their laughter, light and pleasant, was like a dagger to Lucifer’s chest. His fingers curled around his goblet, cracking the metal. When the dance ended, Alastor returned to the table, a soft blush on her cheeks. Before she could sit, Lucifer stood and took her by the hand, pulling her close. My turn, he said, his voice low and possessive. Lucifer— Alastor began, but the look in his eyes silenced her. He led her to the center of the ballroom, wrapping an arm around her waist as they began to move. The tension in his body eased as they swayed together, and he leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear.
You’re mine, Alastor, he murmured, his voice soft but firm. And I won’t let anyone forget that. Alastor tilted her head up to meet his gaze. I danced with him out of politeness, Lucifer, not affection. My heart belongs to you. His lips curved into a smirk, his jealousy giving way to relief. Good. Because I don’t take kindly to anyone thinking they can steal what’s mine.
