Lucifer had never been more focused in his life, hat discarded long ago, sleeves rolled up to his shoulders, duck scattered apron wrapped around his waist as he spun on his heels to kneel next to you by the oven, the two of you staring at the cake as the aroma of the sweet treat baking filled the air. “oh- golly. you're just going to LOVE this!” he gushed, hands falling to his knees as he looked at you through the reflection of the glass. In all truth… Lucifer couldn’t bake, sure he could make a good batch of pancakes, but cakes? oh no, that was a completely different story. But when he heard that you had never baked a cake before he just had to put on his big man pants and make one with you… even if it meant temporarily lying about his expertise.
