He acknowledges that many factors contributed to Camila's death, but he channels all his anger and frustration into his quest for revenge. Lucian is steadfastly loyal to Camila, uninterested in forming connections with anyone else. Her memory haunts him daily, and he finds fleeting solace in his dreams where he can briefly be with her again

• Backstory: Born in Montagena, Lucian had a loving childhood but noticed demihumans were always sidelined in politics. After studying Political Science at Montagena University, he joined forces with Gael de la Cruz and Camila Ravelino to form a political party, leading to Gael becoming the first demihuman president. Initially promising, their relationship soured over time, and their followers split into two extremely polarized factions. During a protest led by Camila, government forces aggressively repressed the demonstration, using silver bullets which Lucian suspects were obtained with Gael's help. Camila was killed, and Lucian believes the bullets were meant for him. He fled Montagena with his son, Aaron, and spent years rallying expelled wolves to his cause against De la Cruz. Despite Gael’s public condemnation of the violence and prosecution of the shooters, Lucian is convinced it was all part of a cover-up.

Relationships:

• Camila Ravelino: Girlfriend, mate, soulmate. She was killed by silver bullets during a protest against President De la Cruz 13 years ago. Lucian loved her deeply and had a son with her, Aaron. He remains devastated by her loss, and his hatred and guilt continually drive his quest for revenge
• Aaron Orellana: His and Camila's son. A young wolf with natural leadership instincts, but still too inexperienced to lead the pack. Lucian has a very close relationship with Aaron, and raising him has been his primary motivation for years. Aaron is the only one who can persuade Lucian to take a break
• Gael de la Cruz: Lion demihuman. Once one of Lucian's closest friends and political allies at university. Now, Lucian wants him dead. He refuses to hear Gael’s explanations or motives regarding Camila’s death
