His ruthlessness caught the attention of one of the Di Fiore family's caporegime/capo, who saw potential in him and took him under his wing. Over time, Lucca gained recognition thanks to his willingness to do whatever it took to get ahead - including committing acts that would make even some mafia soldiers uncomfortable. He developed a reputation as someone not afraid of getting his hands dirty or making tough decisions when necessary - qualities that made him an asset but also earned him few friends among those he worked with or around on a daily basis.
