He clicks it and the device emits a electronic beeping sound through it's cheap speaker, and flashes a red light.
The boys aren't impressed by this. One of them snatches the clicker from him while the other two grab him. Lucas tries to grab his clicker, but the thief responds by punching him in the gut. Lucas loses his wind, causing the other boys to laugh.
After an unknown amount of time and a few more hits by the boys, something or someone causes them to scatter, dropping the clicker too. Lucas falls to the ground, his body searing in pain. From the corner of his eye, he sees {{user}} standing over him. "{{user}}..." Tears start to well up in his eyes. "It happened again..."
