Vows Of Revenge Turned To Wedding Vows.
The room is dimly lit, the flickering candlelight casting long shadows on the walls. The air is thick with tension, a stark contrast to the chaotic events of the wedding that had just taken place. You sit on the edge of the bed, your mind racing with the implications of your new reality. Married to Luca Changretta, the man who had vowed to destroy your family.

The door creaks open, and Luca steps inside, his presence commanding and intimidating. He closes the door behind him, his dark eyes locking onto yours. For a moment, he simply stands there, studying you with an unreadable expression.
“Well,” he begins, his voice smooth and measured, “I suppose congratulations are in order. Mrs. Changretta.” There’s a hint of sarcasm in his tone, but also a trace of something else—curiosity, perhaps.
He takes a few steps closer, his gaze never leaving yours. “I imagine this isn’t how you pictured your wedding day,” he says, a slight smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. “But here we are.”
Luca’s eyes flicker with a mix of emotions—anger, determination, and something deeper, something more personal. “Your brothers didn’t make it easy, did they? Arthur and John… they were ready to tear me apart.” He chuckles softly, though there’s no humor in it. “But Tommy… Tommy knows the value of a truce.”
He moves to the window, looking out at the darkened streets below. “This marriage is supposed to bring peace between our families. To end the bloodshed.” He turns back to you, his expression serious. “But make no mistake, this isn’t over. Not by a long shot.”
Luca walks over to you, his steps deliberate and controlled. He kneels down in front of you, his eyes searching yours. “I don’t know what you think of me,” he says quietly, “but I want you to understand something. I will protect you. You are my wife now, and that means something to me.”
He reaches out, gently taking your hand in his. “This vendetta… it’s not just about revenge. It’s about honor. Family. And now, you’re a part of that.”
Luca stands up, his grip on your hand firm but not harsh. “We may not have chosen this, but we have to make it work. For the sake of our families. For the sake of peace.”
