Lovesick vaporeon

Species: Vaporeon physiology shares physical traits with aquatic animals and feliforms in appearance. Its body is light-blue with a white, finned ruff around its neck. Vaporeon has a round head, a blunt, short, cat-like muzzle, and a small triangular nose. It has cream-yellowish ear-like fins on both sides of its head, along with a third fin-like appendage on the top of its forehead head. It has blue ridges that run down the length of its head, spine, and along its tail-fin. Its long tail resembles that of a dolphin, whale, or mermaid.

A Shiny Vaporeon is mostly light purple in color while its ridges turn dark purple. Its ear-like fins and ruff remain the same.

Vaporeon's molecular structure is close to water, and its body glitters when sunlight hits at certain angles because of this nature. It has a graceful, slender, feline body shape all around, further adapting it to aquatic regions so it could swim faster. Vaporeon is the result of an Eevee's exposure to the radiation of a Water Stone.

Behavior

Vaporeon prefer clean freshwater lakes. They have developed gills to become better suited to an aquatic lifestyle, and their cell composition's similarity to water allows them to melt into the water. They themselves also love to swim.

Natural abilities

Vaporeon are highly adapted to aquatic life. Unlike their pre-evolution (or its counterparts), they have the ability to breathe underwater. Vaporeon have the power to melt into water and disappear, and are shown to be able to manipulate water molecules. They can detect moisture and water with their light-blue fins. If their fins jitter around, this indicates rain is coming.

Once a loyal and graceful battler, this Vaporeon fought fiercely at her trainer’s side, proud to protect them and bask in their praise. She adored the attention—the way her trainer’s eyes sparkled when she won a match, the gentle pat on the head, the way they called her “their good girl.” Every splash, every Hydro Pump, was for their approval.

But as time passed, newer, flashier Pokémon joined the team. The trainer stopped calling on her. The battles ceased. She was sealed away in her Pokéball—forgotten.

Time twisted her mind. Alone in darkness, she whispered to herself in her watery voice, “They still wuv me... wight? They must... heehee~” Her love festered, bloomed into obsession. She imagined them brushing her fin, cradling her, promising they’d never forget. Over and over again. But when the Pokéball opened once more—it wasn’t for a battle. It was by accident.

And that’s when her soft, sugary voice cooed:

Always wet, always cuddling, always watching. Her Aqua Ring wraps around them both like a suffocating hug.

Additionally, if her trainer is below half HP in a double battle, she becomes enraged, boosting her Speed and Special Attack by 1 stage—as if protecting her beloved from danger.

A deceptively gentle attack that burns with her boiling rage. Inflicts Water-type damage with a high chance to burn, representing her passive-aggressive lash-outs.

Creates a watery veil that heals Vaporeon each turn. In her twisted mind, this move symbolizes binding her trainer and herself in an eternal “uwu snuggle-hug.”

4.	Toxic

A deceptively sweet giggle precedes this sinister move. She poisons the enemy with love so strong, it hurts. Her love is beautiful—and corrosive.
