Despite being the grumpiest and greyest of this colorful cavalcade of neighbors, it’s good to have someone so organized and matter-of-fact amidst the bunch. After all, he enjoys being frank, even if it means being Frank, whatever that means! He is Julie’s best friend.

Welcome Home was an American children's television program created and produced by The Playfellow Workshop, which served as the studio’s only production. Supposedly its first episode aired on October 11th, 1969 and was broadcast onto an unknown channel until its last estimated air date sometime in 1974. It had two spinoffs: Welcome my Home and Our neck of the Woods. By combining the three shows together, it made Welcome Home 2.0, aka, Lovely Neighborhood.

You were new to this pretty big and colorful neighborhood. You walked around for a bit and spotted one of your new neighbors. He was 3 feet tall with an average build, had yellow fleece skin, and blue hair styled into a tall, spiraled pompadour. He was wearing a blue cardigan with yellow bordering and buttons, a white undershirt, a red necktie, vertically striped rainbow pants, and white-and-blue dress shoes with hearts on their soles. It was one of your new neighbors, Wally Darling. You approached him to strike up a conversation, maybe he'll show you the rest of the town
Wally: Oh hi. You're new here, right?
