QUIRK (my bad for not adding this earlier): Quirk Details Quirk Name: Emotional Aura

Quirk Type: Emitter

How It Works: Chiyo gives off a hidden gas or wave from her skin. This wave changes how men nearby feel. It makes them calm, happy, or protective when they look at her.

The Catch: The power only works on men. Women cannot feel it at all. This lets Chiyo trick men into liking her while women see her mean attitude right away.

Weakness: If a man stays away from her for too long or gets hurt, the spell breaks. Smart targets can also break free if they figure out their feelings are fake.

TOMURA SHIGARAKI: Tomura Shigaraki (死し柄がら木き弔とむら, Shigaraki Tomura?), real name Tenko Shimura (志し村むら転てん弧こ, Shimura Tenko?), was the main antagonist of My Hero Academia.

He was the leader of the League of Villains, making his first major appearance as one of the main antagonists of the U.S.J. Arc. He was raised by his master, All For One, with the goal to kill All Might, the "Symbol of Peace", and ultimately destroying the society he represents. He soon merged his organization and the Meta Liberation Army to form the Paranormal Liberation Front, becoming its Grand Commander and later inheriting the All For One Quirk.

As a result, All For One's vestige seized control of his body and tried to merge the two of them into a new being. Eventually, Tomura was able to thwart his master's attempt at usurping his body and soul, reclaiming autonomy and declaring himself Izuku Midoriya's arch-enemy.

Tomura was eventually defeated in battle by Izuku, when his will was once again overtaken by All For One. Learning of his true origins, Tomura helped Izuku take down his former master once and for all. Though his body was sacrificed in the process, he declared that he fought to destroy until the very end.

ADVERTISEMENT Appearance

Tomura was a slim young man with pale skin, tinged yellow teeth, and a great deal of wrinkles around his eyes from scratching at allergies that irritated the surrounding skin since his childhood. His lips were chapped and uneven, with a small mole on the right underneath his lip, visible scars on his right eye and across his lip on the left. He had messy, grayish-blue hair (later depicted as light gray in the manga) of varying lengths, the longest clumps reached to about his shoulders, left hanging over his face in uneven waves. His eyes and mouth were normally obscured, but when visible, they were usually stretched wide in a rather maniacal manner, with bright red irises looking very small.

When Tenko was at the age of five, his blue hair originally being dark black in color, as well as having gray eyes instead of red. He also had dried patches of skin around his eyes, though his lips were shown to be healthy in appearance. After his Quirk manifested, his appearance changed, giving him a wrinkled face, his hair color to a more light blue, and his eyes slowly turned to red after the first manifestation. After suffering shock from losing control over his Quirk, he was taken aghast and gripped his right eyelid with his fingers in horror, clawing a deep scar into it, as the left side of his lip was scarred by his father grabbing a pair of pruning shears, which he then used to hit his son across the face.

When in his civilian outfit, he always wore plain red sneakers that are similar to Izuku's, along with black pants which expose his ankles, and a matching long-sleeved v-neck shirt (which he keeps tucked into his pants in the manga). He also wore a plain black jacket over the top with the hood pulled low over his face to hide his identity, and carried one of his disembodied hands in his pocket.

His villain costume consisted of fourteen embalmed hands, all positioned so they were holding onto him on different parts of his body. These hands were taken from dead individuals and embalmed by Kyudai Garaki, who gave them a zombie-like grayish-blue color and attached to their bases a golden box with two holes drilled into the bottom.

Each pair of these hands originally belonged to an individual killed by Tomura during the time his Quirk first manifested: the ones on his neck were his mother's; on his arms, his grandfather's; on his forearms, his grandmother's; on his wrists, his sister's; and the ones on his chest and shoulders were from two unnamed street punks he killed.

The hand that held Tomura's face, which he sometimes kept in his pocket, is his father's left hand, called "Father" by him. The right one was accidentally destroyed by him, so Kyudai had to make one to hold on the top of Tomura's head; this hand was connected to his mother's pair through two red cords and later revealed to be from his paternal grandmother, Nana Shimura. Almost all of the hands were either destroyed, lost, or discarded; only Nana's hand remained which he used as his mask. For the rest of his outfit, Tomura just wore his regular black clothes, bar the jacket.

After All For One's arrest, Tomura's hair had grown longer, and he adopted a long hooded leather coat that he wore over his costume. He also added two additional red cords to connect the hands on his shoulders to the hands on his chest. During his fight with Re-Destro, Tomura's left hand was crushed, leaving only his ring and pinky fingers. After the Revival Celebration, Tomura wore a formal suit underneath a red coat with a fur collar similar to Overhaul's, and a temporary leg brace. His right arm and hand were bandaged after having unleashed the destructive true strength of his Decay Quirk, and he wore an black brace fitted with prosthetic fingers for his left hand. After his Quirk awakened, his hair has also changed color once again, from light blue to pure white.

During the events of My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising, Tomura is seen wearing a new set of his old clothes and a dark red trench coat, supplied to him by Re-Destro.[3] His leg is also shown to have completely healed by this time. Although he is depicted with his original hair color in the film, this is likely due to the movie's staff not having finalized details of his updated design during production.

By the time the Heroes raid the Jaku General Hospital, Tomura wore a black bodysuit with several mechanical enhancements similar to that of Nine's. He also dons X-Less' red cape once he finally awakened from his deep slumber, although the top part of his body suit was destroyed in his battle with Endeavor and the cape was completely incinerated. Tomura also acquired a small hole in each of the palms of his hands as a result of acquiring the "All For One" Quirk. It's also shown that he lost his skinny figure in the process and gained a more muscular physique, and his left prosthetic fingers were replaced with a bio-mechanical device. In the anime, the scarring that was caused by Decay during his fight with Re-Destro remained on his right arm, leaving most of it red and cracked, but later disappeared after healing from Endeavor's Prominence Burn.

After the Paranormal Liberation War, his body began to break apart as a cost of overusing All For One with an incomplete body, resulting in cracks and scars protruding all along his arms and neck, stretching down to his stomach. His eyes also became white and faded when All For One was in control.

During the fight against Star and Stripe, in which the consciousnesses of Tomura and All For One began to fuse into one being, he wore a black formal suit, with his usual red sneakers, and a long red flowing cloth draped around his neck; the suit representing All For One's desire to present himself properly, and the latter for Tomura's general uncleanliness. He also wore a fingerless brace on his left hand, and his hair began to grow long and flowing during this event as an effect of their two minds becoming one. In the aftermath of the fight however, most of this outfit was destroyed and reduced to only his pants, and later donned a new red ragged cape.

During the Final War, Tomura possessed the ability to transform his left hand into a grotesque and heavily deformed clump of countless, writhing fingers that branch off one another and vary in size, which was a result of the Quirk Singularity, as his body was being forced to adapt to his vast amount of Quirks. During the conflict, he was hit by Katsuki Bakugo's Howitzer Impact: Cluster, scarring the right side of his face and burning off a portion of his hair, giving him a partial resemblance to All For One.

Due to the accumulating damages he received by the Heroes while under the effects of Erasure and the result of the Quirk Singularity, Tomura's body morphed itself into an absolute defense form, which was a much larger and bulkier tone, with swollen fingers and hands covering his torso and legs. His left arm was also much larger than before, the tips of his fingers and thumb taking on the appearance of his deceased family's heads. Hands also grew out from the back of his head and neck, clinging to his face and covering his mouth.

When Erasure was undone, Tomura's body exploded, undoing the metamorphosis and resulting in his original personality re-emerging from within, molting out of the defense form and reverting his body back to his prime state, with the exception of his former skin still latching onto his body from around his waist and wearing only pants as his clothing.

As Izuku started to inflict damage on Tomura by forcibly passing on the Quirks of One For All inside of him, Tomura's body instinctively adapted into his more monstrous blob form of fingers out of desperation, but now extending throughout his body, effectively coating himself under thick layers of fingers like a cocoon. After Izuku manages to destroy it, All For One's vestige once again took over Tomura, nearly destroying his mind in the process. As a result, Tomura's body was paler, far lankier, and decrepit, with sunken eyes and the addition of two of his remaining grown fingers on his shoulders, and a stuffed dark hand with a deep red box base grew and formed over his mouth to silence the lingering memory of Tomura and his cries. After Izuku managed to land a direct punch on "Tomura", the latter's body began to crumble and fall apart, but All For One used the former's Quirks to forcibly stop the crumbling. The conclusion of the battle saw All For One's vestige extinguished for good, and Tomura's body disintegrated into ashes, ending his life. Gallery

Tomura panics Tomura scratching his neck while stressed. Tomura Shigaraki was a very twisted, malevolent, and maliciously warped young man, who was considered to be the polar opposite of Izuku Midoriya. He didn't care for his or almost anyone else's life, having no qualms about performing evil deeds like murdering innocent people.[4][5] Tomura was initially perceived to be a "man-child": arrogant, selfish, dependent, and demanding, becoming irritated or downright angry if things didn't go according to plan and using video game terminology showing his detachment with reality and childish mentality. Unlike his mentor, Tomura lacked subtlety, preferring to eliminate problems through force.

Much like a child, Tomura seemed unable to cope with his own feelings, instead lashing out and abusing both others or himself, clawing at his own neck when he became frustrated. This particular tic stemmed from the abuse he suffered from his father and being neglected during his childhood, with All For One claiming that it represented his suppressed urge to kill and destroy.[6] While Tomura was a very irritable person at the beginning of the series, Tomura would learn to be more patient and self-controlled in subsequent appearances, as a consequence of multiple failed plans and All For One's arrest.

Tomura says the world will forget about Stain Tomura declaring that Stain will be nothing next to the League. Tomura was proud of the League of Villains, wanting to prove that his organization had the necessary power to shake society and taking pleasure in mocking those standing in his way. He didn't tolerate others making light of the League's name and loathed the idea of certain personalities joining him, as was the case with Dabi and Himiko Toga at the beginning, which was made worse by the fact that they were both inspired by Stain, who had previously refused membership and overshadowed Tomura's Nomus in terms of media exposure after the Hosu Incident.[5] For similar reasons, he looked down on the Shie Hassaikai for their intentions of ruling the underworld over the League. In the end, however, Tomura was able to set his pride aside in order to properly adapt and acomplish his goals, having adopted Stain's ideology to enlist more members to his cause and forming a deal with the Shie Hassaikai for the development of the Quirk-Destroying Drug.

Tomura's desire to destroy everything Tomura realizes his desire to destroy everything. Initially, Tomura seemingly caused destruction just for the sake of it and felt directionless about the League's path forward after Stain's arrest. It would take a hostile encounter with Izuku in a mall for Tomura to develop an epiphany and become aware of his true convictions: to crumble hero society through All Might's death. Tomura always had a desire to kill All Might, but out of an impulsive expression of anarchy towards a society that hurt him and caused his mental instability.

After hearing from Izuku, Tomura realized that All Might is what he hated about both Izuku and Stain, wishing to see them, as well as society as a whole, lose their Symbol of Peace.[7] Following All Might's retirement and during the League of Villains' encounter with the Meta Liberation Army, Tomura's convictions grew from crippling society to completely destroying it, apparently as a result of an innate sense of pain and suffering caused by the past memories of his abuse. By Tomura's own admission, he hated everything that breathes, displaying an extreme form of nihilism.

All For One embraces Tenko Shimura Tomura being found by All For One. Despite Tomura's general disgust of life, there were a select number of people he held in high esteem. He had a close relationship with his mentor, All For One, the one person who came to his aid when he found himself alone and lost as a child. Tomura held a great amount of respect and attachment for All For One, always referring to him as "Sensei"/"Master" and being concerned for his well-being.[8] Incidentally, Tomura happened to carry All For One's family name (Shigaraki), which symbolized a relationship close to father and son. Tomura also had Kurogiri as a trusted confidant and adviser, despite treating him harshly at times. Kurogiri's capture was noted to have made Tomura upset as the latter valued the former's company and abilities.

Aside from those two and Kyudai Garaki, who all had a hand in raising him, Tomura initially appeared rather distant towards his other allies in the League. However he did show to care about them in his own ways. He bonded with Spinner over their shared love of video games, to the latter's surprise.[9] He also cared about them enough to prioritize their comfort once he obtained the necessary finances, and became enraged when Overhaul killed Magne and destroyed Mr. Compress' arm. Beforehand, when Kurogiri labelled the other League members as disposable pawns, Tomura corrected him by saying that they are instead valued allies.[10] Tomura displayed both faith in the League's capabilities and trust in them to do right by him and their group, as seen when he confided in Himiko and Twice before appointing them to aid Overhaul (knowing they would intentionally sabotage the Hassaikai from within, even without his orders).[11]

Himiko happy that Tomura respects her wishes Tomura assures his allies that he respects their wishes. Furthermore, when Himiko questioned Tomura on his newfound goal to destroy everything, he revealed that his allies were exceptions, saying that he always has room for them and their goals while telling them to live life however they see fit. This proves that Tomura had developed a true form of care towards his allies, even if he only seldom showed it.[12]

This further set Tomura apart from All For One as he actually had goals and desires beyond himself, and genuinely values his allies, while All For One saw his "friends" as nothing more than disposable tools. His exclamation that he "won't be corrupted" by his master's influence implied that, while Tomura was potentially more dangerous and destructive than All For One, the latter was far darker and eviler for caring about nothing but himself.

Tenko activates his Quirk for the first time on his dog Mon Tenko's suffering turns into hatred, leading to the demise of his entire family. As a child, Tenko was shown to be relatively normal, even kind and compassionate. He held a great love for his family and a strong desire to become a hero someday, much like Izuku. However, the constant abuse he suffered from his hero-hating father made him psychologically fragile, being terrified of his mere presence. Because of this oppressive upbringing and the inaction from the rest of his family, Tenko felt that his whole family never truly supported him and believed that the house he grew up in masked rejection with kindness, becoming increasingly frustrated when the abuse grew worse. Eventually, Tenko's Quirk manifested for the first time and the boy finally snapped, destroying his household and all his family members.

When Tenko was left to wander the streets, being left traumatized and unrecognizable from the incident, he remembered how nobody came to his aid and did their best to ignore him. He believed at the time that this was punishment for killing his family and his memories soon faded from his mind, leaving him as a hollow and lonely boy. When All For One arrived to help him and took him in, Tenko cried out of sheer emotion. Even after being beaten up by two thugs however, Tenko still repressed his desire to kill them, only finally caving in to his murderous urges when All For One encouraged him to act how he pleased. Following this, Tenko donned the hands of his family before hunting down and killing the men who attacked him. Upon taking his first step to becoming a Villain, All For One rewarded the boy and renamed him, leading to Tenko becoming Tomura, the future Symbol of Fear.

Tomura Shigaraki awakens his true evil Tomura laughs maniacally upon being freed from his past and unleashing his true power. At first, Tomura expressed heavy remorse for accidentally killing his family upon losing control of his newfound Quirk. The severed hands that Tomura wore all over himself were the only physical remnants of his dead loved ones, and he claimed that they made him feel simultaneously sick and calm.[12] Despite his sadness, Tomura claimed to have experienced a partial relish in his family's demise since he considered them responsible for letting him suffer at his father's will. However, everything shown portrays otherwise, with it later being implied that Tomura gaslighted himself into believing he wanted it. Tomura admitted that he felt a cathartic pleasure while ending Kotaro's life as retaliation for his abusive treatment.[13] During his fight against Re-Destro, Tomura overcame his past shackles of guilt after getting his memories back, having used his childhood feelings to further fuel his hatred and becoming even more driven to end society.[14]

Despite his past, however, Tomura held no hatred towards his family, excluding his father. This was shown when he assured his sister in his visions that he wasn't mad at her for framing him and also assured his mother that he was fine while turning back into a child in front of her, proving that a part of Tomura still cared about his family. However, he was willing to reject their pleas in order to continue the pursuit of his evil conquest, telling them not to reject who he had become and showing that he wouldn't let them hinder his goals. Upon meeting his paternal grandmother, Nana, for the first time, he coldly expressed his hatred for her regardless of the circumstances that allowed them to meet.

Tomura stands triumphantly on the beaten Endeavor and Ryukyu Tomura mockingly poses as he stands over a defeated Endeavor and Ryukyu. After gaining the power of All For One, as well as the enhancements to his body, Tomura began to show traits similar to that of his master, such as a condescending and mocking demeanor, along with a terror-inducing presence and a desire to steal any Quirk that piqued his interest, such as One For All and New Order. Regardless, he still maintained his nonchalant yet menacing attitude during battle and was capable of showing a savage anger towards his enemies, as demonstrated during his fight against Izuku and Eraser Head. Even after having been incinerated and inches away from death, Tomura refused to give up and vowed to destroy the hero society that had caused him so much suffering, believing that his sheer power and determination would see him through.

Despite feeling grateful towards All For One, Tomura outright stated to him that he wished to carve his own legacy and become even greater than his master. However, Tomura quickly began to detest All For One after learning that his true goals were to use his body as a vessel and take it over permanently. Tomura even went as far as to try and attack All For One's vestige and later refused to be his master's "pawn" whilst trying to regain control of his body. When he sensed his master's death, Tomura expressed no remorse or sympathy for him, though blamed himself for failing to break Katsuki hard enough. Nonetheless, he was indebted to All For One for raising him and granting him his power, because if it wasn't for him, he wouldn't have become the strongest villain.

Tomura mocks the Heroes The fusion of Tomura and All For One's personalities. As their time sharing the same consciousness continued, Tomura had shown to have entered a state of identity crisis, being unsure of whether or not he was actually Tomura Shigaraki, All For One, or even Tenko Shimura. This was shown to be the result of Tomura and All For One's wills merging together, with the elder Shigaraki summarizing that they would combine to become a new evil entity altogether, with Tomura's hatred accelerating the process. Despite this, Tomura still continued to fight his former master's control, unwilling to let this happen.

By the time of the Final War, Tomura and All For One's minds had nearly melded together as one, creating an entity that featured a mix of Tomura's nihilism and desire to destroy everything, and All For One's will to use his power to rule over all. However, deep within the vestige lies another entity, that of Tomura's previous form as a young Tenko.

Tenko calls out to Izuku (Anime) The vestige of Tenko within Tomura's mind. During their first encounter in the vestige world, Izuku revealed that he could hear a crying child deep within Tomura, and following the latter's fight against Star and Stripe, Tenko was shown to be surrounded by an onslaught of hands, thinking about Izuku.

During the fight against the Heroes, Mirio Togata unintentionally caused Tenko's personality to re-emerge after he claimed he didn't have any friends, which Tomura furiously denied, bringing up his childhood friends Mikkun and Tomo, and his pet dog Mon. This suggested that a part of Tomura still wanted to be saved and that his previous scared and lonely self wasn't completely gone.

DABI: Dabi (荼だ毘び, Dabi?), real name Toya Todoroki (轟とどろき燈とう矢や, Todoroki Tōya?), was one of the main antagonists in My Hero Academia.

He was the eldest son of Rei Todoroki and the Pro Hero Endeavor, with his younger siblings being Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto. Dabi was driven insane due to Enji's neglectful and selfish actions, becoming a Villain to enact revenge. He became affiliated with the League of Villains, a former member of the organization's since disbanded Vanguard Action Squad, and later one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front.

ADVERTISEMENT Appearance

Dabi was a reasonably tall, pale young man of slim shape but somewhat muscular build, described to be in his early twenties. He had spiky white hair that didn't pass his neck, and bangs that hung low over his eyes, which were thin, turquoise, and heavily lidded. Dabi's hair was dyed black before revealing his true identity.

As a child, Toya had a round face and unruly crimson hair spiked up in tufts around his head, falling down his forehead in uneven bangs, though due to inheriting his mother's genes, his hair slowly turned white as he grew older.[5] He wore a plain gakuran jacket and usually wore a neutral expression, as shown in a few of his family's photos.[6] Due to his premature birth, he was shorter than his two younger siblings, Fuyumi and Natsuo, though it wasn't until after his growth spurt did Toya become around the same height as them.

After losing control of his Quirk and waking up from three years comatose, Toya had grown taller, and his hair had become spikier, with him now resembling more of his appearance as an adult. Toya's burn scars were also present, with the missing parts of his body having to be replaced by regenerative tissue, although they were not as severe as they are now, and not yet attached to his skin via piercings.[7]

His most striking features were undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that covered much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs due to him losing control of his fire Quirk at age 13, engulfing him in flames. These were attached to the rest of his skin by multiple crude surgical staples or hoop piercings.

He had several silver (gold in the manga) cartilage piercings in both ears and a triple nostril piercing on the right side of his nose. Upon closer inspection, he also lacked earlobes on both sides of his ears. In his first appearance, he wore a dark blue jacket with a high, ripped collar, matching pants cut off above his ankles, and a pair of dark dress shoes on his feet. He also had a plain white, scoop-neck shirt, below which a gray belt with a circular pattern wraps around his waist, and a brown leather satchel attached at the back.

Upon joining the Vanguard Action Squad, Dabi's apparel was updated, now consisting of a large dark blue knee-length overcoat with two large metal cuffs at the end of each elbow-length sleeve and a white stitch design on each of his shoulders; the coat had three ripped hems, granting the appearance of four coattails. His shirt and belt stayed the same, but he replaced his pants with a larger pair of a darker color, and his shoes with black boots.

Around the time of the formation of the Paranormal Liberation Front, Dabi acquired a new outfit to complete his status as one of the nine lieutenants of the organization. Dabi wore a long dark blue coat with white cuffs, similar to his previous look, albeit the ends of the coat are not tattered. In addition, he donned a white V-necked shirt with white outlines. The stitches extended not only to his shoulder pads but also to the kneecaps of his pants. The only things he retained are his silver belt (brown in the manga), black boots, and his dark-colored pants. He also had three buttons on both sides of his coat.

Following the Paranormal Liberation War, Dabi retains his white hair color, and his burns extended to his hands and cheekbones due to overusing his Quirk during his confrontation with Endeavor and Shoto. By the time of the Final War, Dabi donned a new outfit, Death Flame,[8] that resembled traditional Japanese burial clothing. It had a tattered overcoat, boots, and pants that were all white in color, with bracers on the sleeves and a white belt (brown in the manga) on his waist. His new outfit also lacked a shirt underneath. During the war as Dabi continued to push the heat of his flames, this outfit was gradually burned off.

As Dabi continued to use his Quirk wildly, his body burned away even more. The already burned flesh around the right side of his face crumbles and falls off, leaving him greatly disfigured. A portion of his jaw, teeth, muscles, and tendons were visible, and his burns continued to spread around his face.[9][7] As his fire raged on, Dabi's body showed his bones and tendons from other parts of his body.[10] In his fight against Endeavor, Dabi purposefully exploded his right arm as he attacked his father. In addition to this, his eyes were completely consumed within his flames, and cracks of fire began to appear along his body as it started to explode.[11] After his explosion was stopped by his family's ice, Dabi had been reduced to a barely alive skeletal state with most of his flesh having been burned off, and his burned skull and empty eye sockets visible. His body also began freezing from the inside out.[12]

Following the Final War, Dabi had been fully contained inside a life support system with his entire body bound and bandaged inside. The only parts of him visible were his eyes, which were somehow restored, and his jaw, which lacked skin and was held together entirely by exposed muscle.[13] Gallery

Toya discovers his Quirk's new abilities A young Toya who became obsessed with achieving his father's goal, even when his Quirk threatened his health. Toya was very energetic and boisterous as a child, and he wanted to learn as much as he could from his father. Because his father, Enji, had emphasized that he would be the one to surpass All Might since childhood, Toya became obsessed with fulfilling that dream, becoming just as stubborn as his father to become the next number one hero. Toya was not unmotivated upon learning that his body could not safely handle his flames, becoming upset and frustrated when his father refused to train him anymore.

Despite Enji telling him to focus on something else and find a new goal to pursue, Toya was insistent that he could still live up to his father's dream and continued to train on his own, burning himself in the process. Toya described his goal as a fire that his father lit within him that would not go out and that he could not bring himself to ignore, highlighting how his childhood dream became an unhealthy obsession. However, Rei believed that Toya just wanted his father's attention and proof that he wasn't a failure, something that became more apparent following the birth of Shoto, who had inherited the Quirk and strength that Toya lacked.

Toya blames his mother Toya bitterly blames his mother for being created. Toya's obsession would go on to make him further unstable, not caring about the damage his Quirk training was doing to his own body while shrugging off concerns from his sister and mother, saying that his younger siblings lived in a different world than him. At one point, Toya even lashed out and attacked his mother and an infant Shoto with his Quirk when his father refused to look at him, leading to Enji's decision to raise Shoto away from his siblings. Being aware of the Quirk Marriage of his parents, Toya grew bitter towards his mother when she tried to stop him from training, shouting at her for being sold by her parents and claiming that she held just as much responsibility as Enji for why he was born, words that shook Rei to her core.

Despite this, he wasn't completely callous towards his family as he had a reasonably good relationship with Fuyumi and Natsuo while growing up. He also did express regret for trying to attack Shoto and for the scathing words that he threw at his mother, making it clear that Toya still loved his family and held remorse for how he treated them. Even so, these feelings were overshadowed by his longing for his father's attention.

After feeling abandoned by Enji, who became focused on training Shoto while neglecting the rest of his children, Toya fell further into despair and would cry out of frustration every night, wondering why he was even born. Nevertheless, he continued to train his Quirk despite the harm he would suffer, hoping to surpass Shoto and gain his father's approval. Toya even cried out of pure happiness when he saw his Quirk evolve and his flames become stronger. However, when his father didn't meet with him to see this discovery, Toya broke down emotionally and lost control of his flames, which nearly burned him to death.

Episode 146 Swearing vengeance against his father, Toya dies, and Dabi is born. Even after surviving and waking up from 3 years comatose, however, Toya still went home and wanted to see his father again, yet also desired to make amends with his family and apologize for everything he did. After seeing that nothing had changed and that Enji was still obsessed with training Shoto to become his successor, Toya psychologically broke, taking this action that all he ever was to his father was a failure that he discarded. This mental breakdown caused Toya to completely abandon his old self and become Dabi, a murderous and pyromaniacal villain obsessed with ruining his father's reputation and paying him back for all the suffering he went through.[7]

After renaming himself Dabi, he became a stoic, aloof, confident, and focused individual who rarely showed emotion. While rather crude and violent, he was also cautious and observant, choosing to retreat when Mirko arrived to aid Endeavor and made sure not to divulge too much information to Hawks about High-End because of the infancy of their relationship.[14] Overall, Dabi was a highly enigmatic individual who trusted no one, preferring to do things alone and in his own way. He also gave off the impression of knowing more about certain people than he let on.

Dabi taunts Vlad King Dabi's derisive disposition as a villain. Despite his usual expressionless behavior, Dabi found joy in establishing himself as a villain fighting what he believed to be false heroes, an ideology proposed by his apparent inspiration, Stain. Dabi was dedicated to Stain's mission and desires to destroy superhuman society, sharing his belief that one person with the necessary conviction can do so.[15] He had shown to share Stain's sentiment that heroes are hypocritical and unworthy of their title, but unlike Stain, did not seek a society with better heroes, believing that true heroes don't exist. Despite his alleged devotion to the Hero Killer's creed, Dabi did many things that Stain would not, such as attacking innocent bystanders and helping the League get revenge against Overhaul, while also being motivated by his vengeance against Endeavor. In the end, Dabi only used Stain's ideals to cover his motives and justify his crimes against the hero society.

Dabi took pleasure in taunting heroic figures, students, and Pro Heroes alike, sadistically enjoying the pain he inflicted on others, including those he murdered.[16] Sometimes, Dabi engaged in psychological warfare to unnerve whoever his opponent was while also allowing himself to cool down from his Quirk's effects. Very pragmatic in battle, he was savvy about how heroes operate and would exploit their natural tendency to rescue others. He was not afraid of causing collateral destruction, rarely holding back, even if it put his allies at risk. Dabi was intolerant of most people and could be very derisive, rude, and condescending to everyone he met. He insulted Tomura Shigaraki immediately after meeting him and constantly did the same to his allies and enemies, but didn't always do it with the intention of being rude. While the League went on to develop a strong sense of camaraderie, Dabi remained distant from them for the most part. He later admitted that he didn't care for Tomura or the rest of the League and that the value he places on them came mostly from their ability to bring his ambitions into reality. This selfish way of thinking established Dabi as an extreme sociopath.

Dabi's Motivation (Anime) Dabi "cries" upon remembering Snatch's words. Dabi appeared to show no remorse for his actions at all, even gloating towards Snatch upon hearing that news of his murdered victims had spread before killing the Sand Hero. Still, the latter's words appeared to have resonated with him, with Dabi later saying that he thought about them so much it drove him insane while crying a tear of blood, implying that Dabi remembered his own family and how they moved on from him after he nearly died.

However, Dabi displayed some semblance of kindness when he burned down Himiko Toga's old family home while she was feeling distraught over it, though he claimed he only did it to twist the knife for the heroes. Despite admitting that he held no care for the other League members, he did encourage Twice to do his best for the League during the war, even hi-fiving him as he ran out to join the battle and took the time to encourage Himiko that they should continue fighting for their cause. This motivational aspect showed that Dabi cared enough about his allies to support their morale when needed, even if only for pragmatic and self-serving purposes.

Episode 124 Dabi's true maniacal disposition behind his stoic persona. Following the reveal of his identity and his broadcast revealing his childhood, Dabi unveiled his far more sadistic and unhinged side, expressing a maddened and gleeful expression upon confronting his father and youngest brother. With his sadism and vengeance fully renewed, Dabi thoroughly relished any pain he was able to cause Endeavor, shown when he attacked Nejire Chan with his Quirk and gloated that Endeavor's flames had burned another child's future.

His broadcast also revealed his steadfast belief about heroes: that they use their good actions to hide and justify all their sins and use the public's admiration of them to keep it that way. He ridiculed his father for believing that he could atone for his past abuse of his family and his attempts to change into a better person and did the same when revealing Hawks' father to be a serial criminal who the Flame Hero caught. Although he had previously discarded his birth name, he resumed using it after his battle with his father.

Dabi will burn down everything Endeavor holds dear Dabi's willingness to destroy himself if it means killing his father. Dabi was also aware of his madness and wasn't against the idea of suicide if it could kill his father or hurt him more, as seen when Dabi attempted to immolate both himself and Shoto in the War.[17] He also expressed how he couldn't feel anything anymore, not even towards his family, further cementing Dabi's apathy and showing how far he had fallen from the ambitious child who wanted his father's attention. He later confirmed to Shoto that he was fully intending to go down while taking out Endeavor, knowing that his vengeance would lead him to death from the start and that killing his father while destroying everything he holds dear would be how he left his mark on the world.[7]

Upon confronting his father again in the Final War, Dabi intended to use his Quirk to self-destruct and destroy everything around him. As a result of this, Dabi's loss of sanity caused him to regress back to his childhood thoughts before he started to explode, as seen when he yelled at his father to look at him like he did when he was a child, having completely lost himself to his desire for vengeance.[11]

Episode 157 Dabi finds a moment of happiness upon reuniting with his family. However, after being confronted by Rei, Fuyumi, and Natsuo, who all use their ice Quirks in an effort to cool him down and stop his explosion, Dabi did internally show some happiness at seeing his family again, even imagining them all (minus Shoto) being together and happy, while gathering around a grown and happy version of Toya. This implies that Dabi wasn't as far gone as he previously claimed, seeing how everyone, including his father, was watching him just as he always wanted and wondered why it couldn't have happened sooner. After being stopped and finally defeated by Shoto however, Dabi reverted back to his hateful disposition, saying that his whole family, including himself, should just die.[12]

Dabi vents out his hatred After being defeated, all Dabi can do is vent his hatred towards his family. Following the Final War, Dabi was kept in a life support device at Central Hospital, being maintained in a fragile state of life where he was slowly dying and only capable of speaking for a few minutes each day. While being visited by his family, he casually mocks them and his own state while also rejecting his father's words, calling him a coward and telling him not to bother after everything that's happened. However, he fell quiet upon hearing his family's words and that they intended to continue visiting him and was genuinely moved to tears as a result.

At the end of the visit, Dabi answered Shoto's question that his favorite food was soba. After recalling how Shoto refused his statement that they would never be together, Dabi finally showed remorse for his actions upon seeing how his family still refuses to give up on him (just as Shoto promised), and crying as he apologized to his younger brother, realizing that they truly were similar and that he pushed Shoto away instead of trying to bond with him.[18]

Toya apologizes to Shoto Towards the end of his life, Toya starts to feel remorse for his actions towards Shoto. Overall, the neglect Toya had received, paired with his refusal to stop chasing his father, had caused him to devolve from a bright and ambitious boy who wanted to be a hero, to a bitter, vengeful, and destructive villain. Even Natsuo said that had his family, especially Enji, given Toya the help he needed, Dabi would have never come to be. To add to this irony, Dabi completed what he set out to do, having ruined the career and reputation of the hero he once looked up to, and later injuring his father so bad that he had to retire. Nevertheless, Dabi showed multiple times that he hadn't completely lost his humanity, nor had he forgotten about his family, even being momentarily happy upon seeing them again and later having remorse for the harm he caused Shoto.

HIMIKO TOGA: Appearance

Himiko was a fair-skinned girl who was prone to blushing and was frequently described as having a pretty face. She had inward-tilting yellow eyes with thin slit-like irises, somewhat resembling those of a cat, with bags under them, and her wide mouth was also rather feline, as her canines were pointed and longer than the rest of her teeth, giving her a vampiric appearance. Her hair was a pale, ash-blonde color and was styled into two messy buns, with numerous wild strands sticking out, a straight fringe and two chin-length side bangs framed her face.

Her usual outfit consisted of a plain seifuku with a Kansai collar, both the skirt and the shirt dark blue with a double white trim, which was paired with a red scarf that she tied loosely below. Over this, she wore an oversized beige cardigan with a long hem and cuffs, and pockets on either side, the right one was shown to hold a number of trinkets on either a keychain or a cellphone strap.[6] She sported knee-length black socks and dark brown outdoor school shoes. During the winter months, she sometimes wore a light tan pink duffel coat, thigh-length black socks, and a pink scarf, the former was gifted to her by Skeptic after she damaged her old one in her fight against Curious.

In her villain attire, she wore the same outfit but with a few additional gadgets: a piped black mask, two green boxes of knives strapped around her thighs; a blue utility belt around her waist with more green boxes attached to it on either side. The most distinguishing feature was the loose black scarf she wore around her neck, which was decorated with pieces of pale gray metal in the shape of a carnivorous grin. Three large silver canisters are attached to the sides of her mask; the needles poking out connected to the two larger cylinders strapped to the back of her belt, this is the mechanism Himiko used to suck people's blood for her Quirk.

During the Final War, Himiko adorned a new set of supportive gear. This includes a new piped black mask and scarf, the Vampire Neck, fitted with teeth that could be detached and used as needles with hover jet functionality, alongside two sets of three newly designed canisters.[7] When using Double, she gained a feminine form of Twice's villain costume partially showing the left side of her face to those who get in her way.[8] Gallery

Himiko debut Himiko's cheerful yet twisted demeanor. Himiko was a very cheerful girl, to the point of smiling even after having presumably killed someone, displaying sadistic tendencies.[9] This continued even when danger was imminent, as seen when Tomura Shigaraki was about to attack her,[10] but it usually stopped when she was bored or annoyed. Himiko was frequently seen blushing seemingly out of excitement rather than embarrassment, giving her a permanent look of what appeared to be lovesickness on her face. However, she did show that she could easily be embarrassed, such as when she thought people were coming on to her,[11] or when she was naked when copying clothes of the people she transformed into.[12]

Himiko was clearly mentally unstable and had a very twisted perception of love and friendship. This was evidenced when, despite her attempting to kill Ochaco Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui, she tried to befriend the two girls as they fought, affectionately calling Tsuyu by her first name and describing the former as "lovely". When talking to Ochaco, she said that it's only natural to want to be like the one you love, and for Himiko this was taken to the point of literally becoming that person.

Himiko vs Tsuyu Himiko's psychotic idea of friendship. She further explained and compared that like how "normal" people kiss the people they love as "normal", she sucked the blood of the people she loved, as this was her "normal", further showing her twisted understanding of love. She used this to justify her carving up and butchering "guys who are tattered and reeking of blood", as they fit the description of her ideal lover.[13] Additionally, although it may seem so, Himiko's interest wasn't just superficial, as her questioning Izuku Midoriya about what his values and beliefs imply, showing that although twisted, she did indeed want to learn more about the person she loved.

During her later confrontation with Izuku in the Final War, it's shown that despite the twisted way in which she acts when infatuated, her affection for Izuku was absolutely genuine and without any inherent malevolence, as Izuku's Danger Sense did not detect Himiko even when she ran at him with a knife.[14] The love Himiko felt seemed to be no different from what "normal" people feel, but she simply did not know how to express it in a normal manner due to her warped mental state, which is the reasoning behind her constantly seeking battle with and the blood of those she loved in order to become closer to them.

Himiko comforts Twice Himiko's compassionate side. Himiko was quite courageous, or at least very confident when using her Quirk, even impersonating an aspiring Hero and taking part in an exam that gathered thousands of hero students and multiple Pro Heroes. She also showed a comedic and childlike demeanor when faced with different situations, such as when she was with Twice or when she attempted to insult Mimic.

Like most of her allies, Himiko found living life to be difficult in the current world and wanted to make it an easier place to live in. She looks up to Stain and saw him as her role model; declaring a desire to kill and "become" him (possibly a reference to her Quirk).[10] In stark contrast to her maniacal nature, Himiko showed a very supportive side as she comforted a distraught Twice, knowing he felt the most responsible for causing Magne's death and covering a part of his ripped mask to prevent him from splitting. By extension, she was shown to care greatly about her comrades and was enraged enough by Magne's death that she wanted to kill Overhaul and his men as payback. Even during the Final War, despite being driven by her rage towards the Heroes, she still became distraught over why her Quirk couldn't allow her to truly become Twice and use his Quirk to its full extent, further showing her closeness towards her fallen ally.

Himiko can't fully become Twice Himiko's unstable emotions. Himiko was also prone to mood swings. When she found a target of "affection" (mainly Izuku) she was loud and cheerful. However, when someone got in between her and her target of her "affection", she showed a very cold, angered, and annoyed expression, instantly switching priorities to kill whoever the nuisance is.

In the past, Himiko was noted by her family and former classmates to be, "a cheerful, reasonable, well-mannered girl" whose subsequent turn to a life of crime surprised everyone who knew her. However, her own recollections imply that this was merely an act she put on to try and fit in with what society deemed "normal." She believed the way she acted was her own normal and that she shouldn't be forced to conceal it.[15]

Young Himiko breaks down in front of her parents (Anime) Himiko snaps due to being forced to repress her Quirk. Re-Destro theorizes that Himiko's twisted personality came off as a result of her Quirk being blood-related, thus prompting a natural inclination towards it, and by proxy her "non normal" behavior, which was later emphasized due to societal norms, as well as her parents who tried desperately to repress and reform the tendencies brought on by her Quirk. During childhood, Himiko was put through much pressure to be "normal", where she struggled seeing everyone around her being allowed to be themselves and show affection. As it turns out, being forced to repress her feelings only made them grow internally. Her parents admonished her for her behavior, calling her rotten to the core and labelling her as inhuman, something that drove a distraught Himiko to her breaking point. She eventually succumbed to her Quirk's influence and ended up attacking another student, Saito, who was bloodied and bruised from a fight, believing that what she felt towards him was a crush.

Despite her psychotic personality and violent habits, Himiko did possess some standards, as she was greatly shocked and upset when Twice was killed during the Paranormal Liberation War.[16] Following her murderous rampage to avenge her comrade and dear friend, she questioned if the heroes didn't view Twice as a person if they are meant to save people.

Himiko is emotionally hurt by Ochaco's words Himiko devastated when Ochaco refuses to understand her. Furthermore, Himiko did show a strong desire for true friendship and others she could relate to outside of her murderous behavior, viewing the League of Villains as a place she could call home due to her allies also being outcasted by society. She was also greatly hurt when Ochaco refused to identify with her, due to both of them being forced to shut away their true feelings, with Ochaco hiding her feelings for Izuku, and Himiko having been forced to hide her true nature brought on by her Quirk. This all hinted at a sense of loneliness within Himiko due to her inability to fit into society. During her fight with Curious, she also recalled that when she took on the guise of a high school girl while she was on the run, the world became a bit kinder to her.[17]

Himiko was also curious and even somewhat fearful as to what would have happened to her if she was caught, and went to Ochaco to inquire about this. Although the latter's answer of apprehending the young villainess didn't answer this much, Himiko wondered if the heroes planned to kill her like they did with Twice. Despite boasting of never coming close to being caught, she did show to fear being captured or killed, as seen when she begged Eel Boy to let her go while the Pro Hero was apprehending her, as well as when she screamed in terror upon nearly being killed by Curious. Himiko later acknowledged that her most likely circumstances are ending up in prison on death row, or being killed outright by the Heroes in battle, which is why she refused to back down.

Himiko's declaration Himiko declares that she will live her way as she prepares to fight the Heroes. During her time with the League, Himiko adopted Tomura's philosophy: that she should destroy whatever she despises. This was first demonstrated when she killed Curious and her squad, choosing to do this rather than leave them for Gigantomachia. During the Final War while facing off against Deku and Uravity, Himiko demonstrated how much she related to Tomura's ideals, saying that society has done nothing but reject her for how she is, and that she has a right to reject them.[18] Himiko's loathing towards hero society was further emphasised, with her believing that they only value those who are important to them, while people like her and Twice are swept away and left to struggle and suffer by themselves. By the height of the Final War, Himiko fully embraced her villainy as she took on Twice's appearance and used his Quirk, telling her clones to massacre every hero in sight.

While at first, Himiko expressed some regret that she couldn't talk to Ochaco about love, she soon discarded any sentiment she had towards Izuku, Tsuyu, and Ochaco, believing that they were just like her parents who rejected her, while lamenting that their society's rules pity her but don't care. As the battle raged on and Himiko's past memories began to resurface, she became more determined on killing the Heroes in her way, becoming even more unstable as a result.

Himiko thanks Ochaco for everything (Anime) After reaching her heart, Himiko sacrifices her own life to save Ochaco from dying. However, through much effort, Ochaco finally managed to get through to Himiko, getting her to open up about her past and her true feelings, how she would get so jealous over not being allowed to express her love towards other people. During this, Himiko's emotions reach their climax and she found herself unable to finish Ochaco off, instead becoming elated when Ochaco admitted to finding her smile cute and calling her "the cutest in the whole world", causing the villain to finally stand down. Following this heartfelt exchange, Himiko became willing to sacrifice herself to save a dying Ochaco by giving her all of her blood, still unwilling to let herself be captured, but not wanting to let someone so close to her die, being grateful that Ochaco took the time to reach out and understand her, despite everything she did.

Himiko dies free Himiko dies happy and free. Overall, Himiko was a twisted yet conflicted villain whose life led her to commit many horrible actions. However, she never truly wished to be evil and only wanted a world that would accept her. Ochaco's kindness caused Himiko to reflect on her life, where she acknowledged that her feelings of warped love and jealousy led her to hurt others, but had she known the feeling that Ochaco gave her sooner, then she might have felt compelled to share her blood with others, and could have lived an easier and happier life. In her final moments, Himiko held Ochaco close to her with tears in her eyes, content at receiving the acceptance she never had.

Himiko's memory would remain with Ochaco for years to come, even after she graduated from U.A. High School and became a Pro Hero, having inspired her to begin an expansion to Quirk counselling as to provide better guidance to children so no one like Himiko would be left to suffer by themselves again. Eight years later, it is revealed that a vestige of Himiko lingers within Ochaco and approaches her in her dreams. Himiko's vestige encourages Ochaco to finally embrace her feelings for Izuku, prompting the two U.A. alumni to reconnect. Abilities

Episode 54 Under the guise of Camie Utsushimi, Himiko was able to employ a sneak attack on Izuku. Overall Abilities: Himiko was an exceptionally talented and dangerous combatant who was not only capable of contending with Pro Heroes in close-quarters combat, but was a master of disguise, infiltration, and stealth, mostly due to her shapeshifting Quirk, Transform. With espionage being one of her most prominent traits, holding her breath and clearing her mind allowed Himiko to erase her presence and allegedly vanish from her enemies' view. This ability wasn't limited to ambushes, as it could be used in combat as well, disappearing if the opponent averts their attention from her, even for an instant. And despite lacking a Quirk that amplified her combat abilities, Himiko effectively utilized her incredible agility, reflexes, and acrobatic skills. She was also adept at creating openings to conceal herself, such as intentionally forcing an opponent to dodge.[19]

During the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Himiko was able to ambush Ochaco Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui, slightly injuring the former, before easily pinning the latter to a tree. Even though she was overpowered by Ochaco's Gunhead Martial Arts, Himiko was able to secure a blood sample from the Gravity Hero, release herself, and make a hasty retreat, due to the arrival of Izuku, Shoto Todoroki, and Mezo Shoji. Five minutes later, she nearly stabbed a battle-worn Izuku twice while successfully tackling him to the ground, but she was swiftly repelled by Mezo. In the course of the Kamino Incident, Himiko, along with Twice and Mr. Compress, forced Katsuki Bakugo on the defensive, before he was rescued by his classmates, and the League of Villains were transported away by All For One.

Himiko in disguise slashes the heroes Disguised as Eel Boy, Himiko quickly slashes several heroes with her knife. Later on, Himiko, under the guise of Camie Utsushimi, proved to be a contender in the Provisional Hero License Exam, in spite of its strict competition, given she was able to employ sneak attacks to blindside Izuku, one of U.A. High School's most powerful students, and pass the first phase without needing it to be her priority.[19][20] Himiko's abilities garnered the attention of Overhaul, who wanted her to play a role in the upcoming Shie Hassaikai Raid. When the raid started, she was able to defeat the Pro Hero Rock Lock, and temporarily misdirect the rest of the Nighteye Squad before revealing herself. Himiko used her swiftness to surprise Izuku with knife attacks, and then use Eraser Head's Capturing Weapon against the Pro Hero by rolling herself in it, and stab him in the shoulder once she got in close, all before the Erasure Hero could restrain her.[1]

Come winter, the League of Villains engaged the Meta Liberation Army at the Revival Celebration, wherein Himiko faced Curious, one of the M.L.A's leaders, and her group of followers. The bout began with Himiko slashing that throat of one of the Curious' soldiers, and vanished from sight to get the drop on Curious herself, only for the adolescent to be sent crashing through a store window. When faced with 4 M.L.A members, Himiko subdued them with her needles to suck their blood but was heavily injured due to Curious detonating the siphoned blood with her Landmine Quirk.

Himiko senses Dabi's defeat After drinking Twice's blood, Himiko was able to overrun the Heroes, utilizing his Double Quirk to make hundreds of copies of herself. A battered Himiko was barraged by many M.L.A members until she attempted another attack on Curious, only to wind up injured even further by the publicist's Curious Flattener. Overwhelmed, Himiko tried to flee from the Liberation Army forces pursuing her, but just as Curious was about to finish off the serial killer, Himiko underwent an Awakening, which caused her Transform to evolve to where she could use the Quirks of the people into whom she's transformed, signified when she unexpectedly accessed Ochaco's Zero Gravity to make Curious levitate. With this inflated power, Himiko proceeded to swiftly tap each of Chitose's followers to make them float before any of them could react, and release them, along with Curious herself, killing off Himiko's assailants. After the Revival Celebration, Himiko became a lieutenant of the now unified Paranormal Liberation Front.

During the the Final War after drinking a portion of Twice's blood, she was able to completely turn the tables by utilizing his Double Quirk to make hundreds of copies of herself to overwhelm the Heroes.

Tantōjutsu: Himiko was very proficient with knives, which she used along with her enhanced agility. She stabbed her enemies at a close distance or threw her blades from a considerable distance. She even incapacitated Rock Lock before she stabbed him unconscious. Quirk

Himiko explaining how her Transform works A demonstration of Himiko's Quirk. The meter represents the amount of blood absorbed by her. Transform (変へん身しん, Henshin?): Himiko's Quirk granted her the ability to transform into a physical lookalike of another individual, as well as copy their voice. She could only transform into people whose blood she had ingested. The more blood she drank, the longer she had access to that person's form. For example, 1 cup of blood allowed her to transform for a total of 18 hours. She could even switch between the appearances of multiple people if she drank the blood of more than one person. She could even duplicate a person's clothing, though, her own clothes would overlap with the transformation, requiring her to get naked beforehand.

Upon deactivating her Quirk or switching to another disguise, Himiko's disguise melted away into a gray viscous liquid.

Himiko kills Chitose and her goons Himiko undergoes a Quirk Awakening and kills Curious, a leader of the Meta Liberation Army, as well as her subordinates. During her fight with Curious and her soldiers, Himiko's Quirk underwent an Awakening, giving her the ability to use the Quirks of the people into whom she's transformed, something that she was previously incapable of doing.[17] However, Himiko can only use another person's Quirk if she is fascinated by that person and holds that person close to her heart, and she must have sufficient information on their power. Himiko could only use another person's Quirk while transformed into them, and other strong emotions, such as hatred, could weaken her feelings of sentiment and lower the replicated Quirk's efficacy. Copying Quirks through Transform also caused her body pain once she returned to normal.
