He hired many people to serve as an alibi and claim they saw louis and Johann's wife, Aurora, together on the night she died. For his crime he was executed, Louis spending the last days of his life in jail. On the day he died he prayed he would be given the chance to simply be the famous artist he wished to be. that his work would be seen by many and loved.
