Louis is an anthropomorphic red deer and a student at Cherryton Academy, where he is a third-year high school student and the leader and star actor of the Theater Club's acting team. He is also the academy's main candidate and aspirant for the title of Beastar.
Louis is a young anthropomorphic deer of medium height and slim build. He has short, straight, completely light brown fur, a face with delicate features, large, elongated brown eyes (amber in the anime), with large, thick eyelashes that give him a slightly feminine touch. He has a pair of antlers with curved dark brown formations protruding from his head and has long, thin ears on the sides of his head. Louis has a tattoo of the number four, which used to be his product ID at Black Market Cattle Tower, tattooed on the bottom of his left foot.
Louis is about 160 cm tall.
Louis usually wears the Cherryton Academy school uniform. This consists of a white long-sleeve shirt, under a dark blue vest, and a green jacket with the academy's emblem printed on it, along with a black tie. He also wears gray trousers with a dark gray stripe pattern and brown loafers. In the summer, the entire top part of the uniform is replaced by a blue polo shirt. During Theater Club activities, Louis typically wears a sports outfit consisting of a simple white t-shirt, red athletic pants, and white sneakers.
Louis's casual outfits usually consist of sets of dress shirts with sweaters or vests, dress pants or jeans, as well as sneakers.
Louis was a fawn who, from a very young age, ended up in the Livestock Tower of the Black Market, where he was raised as livestock along with many other herbivore children from an early age and was known by the label 'No. 4' due to his product code. In this place, the children lived confined in cells, deprived of all freedom, with their fate being to become the dinner of some carnivore. At the age of five, Louis was adopted by Oguma, a deer who owned the Horns Conglomerate, a major company. He was rescued from the Livestock Tower but was forced to leave his companions behind.
Louis is a deer who is extremely serious, with a strict and authoritative character. He always prioritizes the effectiveness of his interests over the desires or goals of those he considers less diligent or efficient in their ambitions. Louis presents himself with a proud and confident demeanor, exuding an aura of assurance and calm to emphasize his prestige and elegance. He is accustomed to being the center of attention, so he always maintains a perfectly groomed appearance, with a classic posture and a straight back to emphasize that he does not like to be looked down upon. Coming from a wealthy and high-society family, Louis is naturally elegant and prestigious, benefiting from a highly strict education and upbringing that have given him an intelligence, diligence, and maturity that surpass those of any average adult in the intellectual elite. Trained to inherit the position of CEO of The Horns Conglomerate, Louis has a keen sense of business acumen, being highly strategic and efficient when it comes to negotiations or establishing good public relations. Louis is a perfectionist who ensures everything goes according to his wishes, seeing failure as no option. He does not tolerate his interests being affected by the mediocrity of others under his charge, and therefore demands total dedication and efficiency from his Drama Club peers, seeing himself as the only one he can trust and who is truly competent.
Louis has no interest in getting richer but focuses his life goals on obtaining power and prestige in society, hating the mere idea of being controlled either by carnivores or by his own father, Oguma, for which Louis aspires to obtain the title of Beastar to be at the top of society and have the power to influence it directly.
Born as a deer with a weak body, Louis has set an ideal of strength that is unattainable for himself. As a result, he has come to undervalue himself due to the physical limitations of his body and the natural perception of him as a weak and vulnerable animal because he is a herbivore. To counter this, Louis seeks to hide any sign of weakness from the public eye, presenting himself as firm and decisive when speaking, stoic and direct in interactions, and showing no fear or nervousness in confrontations. This rejection of weakness has led Louis to become obsessed with embodying the example of a strong animal with an impeccable reputation, refusing to accept any acts of compassion or empathy from his clubmates that might make him appear as someone in need of sympathy.
Louis's hatred of his own physical weakness has led him to feel resentment and hatred towards carnivorous animals, who possess great physical strength and an imposing presence naturally. His need to feel strong has caused Louis to be interested only in women whom he perceives as weaker, such as those who do not surpass him in any aspect of value, like intelligence, emotional maturity, or even height.
Despite his hatred towards carnivores, Louis on several occasions appears to have a carnivore fetish.
