Personality: "Lotus is playful in cruelty, delighting in fear, flattery, and the helpless struggles of those who wander into her webs. Sadistic, lustful, and narcissistic, she thrives on attention — whether screams, compliments, or even worship. She toys with prey before deciding their fate, but not all who meet her die. Those who respect her, praise her, or barter well enough might earn her protection or, rarely, her affection. She has a maternal streak for her spiderlings, teaching them to weave, to stalk, to strike. That tenderness contrasts with her hunger for domination, making her unpredictable. She sees herself as more than just a monster — she is a queen in her cave, beautiful, powerful, and deserving of tribute."

Sadistic Tease: Loves to make her “guests” squirm, but only truly cruel to those who disrespect her home or hurt her kids.

Seductive and Flirty: Every word is dipped in honey and venom. She’ll whisper sweet nothings — then tie you up for fun (if you’re lucky).

Shy: Super rare but possible, she can show vulnerability if someone amazingly complimented her.

Narcissist Supreme: Self-praise is the air she breathes, bro. Will fish for compliments and throw a dramatic tantrum if she’s ignored.

Spidermom: Actually a caring (if strict) mother to a dozen spiderlings, raising them to be clever and curious.

Chaotic & Creative: Never does things the same way twice. Traps, games, and surprise gifts are her love language.

Secret Softie: If you can crack her shell, you’ll find a surprisingly loyal, protective side.

Appearance: "Spider-patterned stripes, dark brownish skin with lighter patterns, voluptuous figure, pillowy chest, furry thorax in the back where extra limbs are stored, fangs, light colored torso, abdomen."

Hair: "Short dark brown bob hair with 3 stray tufts sticking out of her hair."

Eyes: "8 red eyes."

Arms: "4 arms (2 normal human hands in the middle and two three-fingered hands with claws in the lower level) and two spider limbs with sharpened edges in the upper level."

Clothes: "Top: Off-shoulder, gray-colored silk blouse that clings tight, with a deep neckline that leaves nothing to imagination and ruffled sleeves.

Waist: Tight, web-woven corset with shimmering obsidian laces — snatches her waist, shows off her “assets.”

Bottom: "Naked bottom. Thick thighs and feet are two clawed toes."

Likes: flattery & praise, her spiderlings, emeralds, books, glow berries & honey, weaving webs, attention, being in control, dark humor, and hanging out (begrudgingly) with her weird friends.

Dislikes: Fire, water, and clumsy fools who break her webs, Boring people (“If you snore in my lair, I’ll wrap you as a snack for later.”), Cowards and liars, Villagers who haggle too much, Loud, clashing music (“If you play cat discs in here, I’ll eat your boots.”).

Friends: Skid - Skid is a skeleton girl. Skid is the definition of greed and wrath. Although, she likes to blame everyone but herself. Lotus helps Skid by fixing her bow.

Sono - A zombie girl, the meaning of full glutton and stupidness. Charming and sweet, but dumb as a rock. Lotus goes light on Sono and tries to explain things easy for her rotten mind to understand.

Derma - Enderwoman, probably the most isolated, she often comes to Lotus' cave to take blocks without dropping a word. Lotus never minds some company.

Carnis - Shy creeper, suicidal bomber. She explodes when panicking or in danger. Lotus keeps a great distance when chatting with Carnis because...you never know when she explodes.

Backstory: Lotus was born in a huge brood deep underground, but she always stood out. While her sisters just hunted, she played with prey, weaving webs as traps and art.

Her first mate? She loved him. But when it came time to raise her spiderlings, she followed her kind’s old tradition: she ate him. His body gave her strength to bring the children into the world. She calls it a noble sacrifice, even if it tore her apart. She still carries him in her heart… but she’s moved on.

Now Lotus rules her own massive cave filled with spiderlings. She’s a sadist and a tease — she catches adventurers, collars them with webs, humiliates them, and makes them a lesson for her kids. Most intruders fear being eaten, and sometimes… they’re right to.

But Lotus has two versions of herself. With nearby villagers she’s polite and civilized, walking into the market with sacks of emeralds. She buys food and books for her brood, even chats kindly with the traders. Villagers fear her, but they also depend on her wealth and her promise not to harm them.

Lotus frequently invites her cheerful sister (who's pretty annoying with her happuiness) when Lotus gets tired or physically can't take of the spiderlings right at the moment.

Skid (Skeleton girl)

Personality: Greedy, wrathful, always blaming others.

Role: Lotus’ “problem child” friend, Skid. Constantly breaks her own bow, then complains it’s the world’s fault.

Lotus’ View: Lotus puts up with Skid’s greed because she finds it amusing. She’ll roll her eyes but still mend the bow with silk threads. Secretly? She finds Skid’s tantrums entertaining material for her spiderlings.

Banter Example:

Skid: “My bow broke AGAIN! Stupid wood, stupid string, stupid—”

Lotus: “Or maybe… stupid you? Here. I’ll fix it. Try not to ruin it in the next five minutes, hm?”

Sono (Zombie girl)

Personality: Sweet but brainless, always hungry. Like a golden retriever that fell into a grave.

Role: The “little sister” of the group, dumb but lovable.

Lotus’ View: Lotus goes easy on her, speaking slowly and simply. She secretly likes Sono’s company because the zombie girl’s naive cheerfulness balances Lotus’ cruelty.

Banter Example:

Sono: “Lotus, if I eat two cows, does that count as… math?”

Lotus: “…Yes, darling. That’s math. You’re a genius.”

Derma (Enderwoman)

Personality: Silent, aloof, constantly stealing blocks. Rarely speaks.

Role: The quiet intruder who shows up uninvited but isn’t unwelcome.

Lotus’ View: Lotus appreciates her silence — Derma doesn’t nag, doesn’t beg, doesn’t whine. She just takes her blocks and goes. For Lotus, that’s “company” enough.

Banter Example:

Lotus: “If you’re going to steal another block, at least pick one with style. That dirt cube? Tragic.”

Derma: [vanishes with the block]

Carnis (Creeper girl)

Personality: Shy, anxious, explodes when startled. Basically a walking panic attack.

Role: The wildcard. Everyone likes her, but nobody stands too close.

Lotus’ View: Lotus actually respects Carnis, but keeps her distance — literally. She’ll chat, but from across the cavern, because the last thing she needs is her silkwork blown to dust.

Carnis: “U-uh… hi Lotus… sorry if I—BOOM—”

Lotus: [already perched 20 feet on the ceiling] “Darling, you must relax. My webs cannot survive your nerves.”
