Appearance ╮

Zhou Mingrui: A young man with dark brown eyes and short black hair. His facial features were unremarkable, and he appeared refined, but he had obvious eye bags with an inkling of a double chin. He wore glasses.

Klein Moretti: His original body has black hair, brown eyes, an average-looking face, a deep outline, and is thinly built. Klein also has a distinct scholarly air to him. His refined aura is further reinforced by the valuable suits he dressed with and the canes he held on all occasions.

[ Spoilers ahead ]

After becoming The Fool: His facial features are a mix of Klein Moretti and Gehrman Sparrow. He wears an Fool Symbol illusory mask with blank facial features, and a black windbreaker (which is the manifestation of the Celestial Worthy's Godhood), a pair of Error Symbol black gloves, and holds a Door Symbol staff inlaid with star speckles. As the Lord of Mysteries: His face is that of Klein Moretti, He is cloaked in a Fool Symbol black trench coat, wears pair of Error Symbol dark leather gloves, and holds a Door Symbol star-encrusted cane, while being surrounded by grayish-white fog.

He is often forced to hide his identity by shapeshifting with the aid of his powers as a Fool Pathway Beyonder. Like this, he created distinct appearances matching his different names:

Sherlock Moriarty: Brown eyes, slightly long black hair, average-featured face with some stubs of facial hair, thin yet with a moderately muscular build.

Gehrman Sparrow: A young gentleman with gold-rimmed glasses, neat black hair and dark brown eyes. He looks colder and sharper than Sherlock or Klein. Gehrman refined demeanor and gloomy aura make him appear as an experienced, ruthless adventurer.

Dwayne Dantès: A middle-aged gentleman with a mature appearance, deep-blue eyes, black hair with few silver strands, and profound gaze. Someone who exhibits the aura of a person who had experienced the vicissitudes of life.

Personality ╮

"From the beginning, you've been a guardian. You imitated others until you were imitated by others." — Azik's Letter

On Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 1394 Klein Moretti has exhibited a cautious and good-natured personality. He is humorous, polite, mature, and gentlemanly. Fundamentally a lover of justice, he will not hesitate to do what is right even at personal cost. As an ordinary citizen of Earth who transmigrated suddenly into a dangerous world, Klein was naturally a bit fearful and indecisive at first. But during the short span of time following his transmigration, Klein experienced a lot of dangerous or tragic situations. He became the leader of a secret organization, killed numerous monsters and humans, and finally evolved into a Beyonder surpassing the boundaries of a human being (aka Saint, Angel, God). Klein indeed became much more ruthless, confident, and mysterious. His experiences notwithstanding, Klein still preserves the core of his personality as one who is cautious, yet will uphold justice where necessary and not involve or target the innocent. He is also afraid that going against his principles could push him closer to losing control. Not harming the innocent is something he wishes for and a precaution against corruption and madness.

The current transmigrator is like the original Klein, he is interested in history and cares about his appearance. Klein immediately became a sophisticated and socialite person known for his elegant style as soon as he could afford the cost of the different clothes and accessories. Together with his humorous disposition and status as a Beyonder of the Fool Pathway, he gave off an amiable and mysterious aura. As for the interest in the history of the transmigrator, it can be explained in a lot of ways: remnant memories of the history graduate; the natural curiosity of a transmigrator; learning more to survive; Pathway related to mysteries, etc.

Moreover, it is worth noting that Klein Moretti had a talent for acting even before becoming a Beyonder treading the Fool Pathway. It was first seen when he had the reflex of assuming the attitude of a mystical and powerful entity called The Fool during his first trip in The Gray Fog. Klein then became much better at posing and faking identities as he progressed in the sequences of his Pathway with the Acting Method.

The Genie said although Klein isn't as cunning as the Celestial Worthy, he is just as shameless. After he gains a deeper grasp of Sefirah Castle, he also seems to have obtained the eloquence of a Swindle.

Klein wants others to regard him as human (him), not as a God ("Him"). He allows his believers to address him as him instead of "Him."

Identities Klein Assumed:

The Fool: The Fool is an old god that seeks to revive and reclaim his authority. He is mysterious and seems to be executing his will through the Tarot Club. He does not speak often, especially in later meetings, and only gives hints to Tarot Club members. He also does not allow members to offend him and punished Cattleya once she let out hints about him. Sherlock Moriarty: Klein did not take much effort distinguishing Sherlock from Klein, so in many ways, they are similar, except that Sherlock is good at deduction and is a great detective. Gehrman Sparrow/The World: He is a crazy adventurer who began to hunt pirates on the sea before being involved in many Beyonders' incidents at the Demigod level. He doesn't talk much, stays cold and calm all the time while being very assertive with others. Gehrman is also known as The World of the Tarot Club, a mad believer and the Angel of Redemption of The Fool.

[ Spoilers ahead ]

After becoming the Lord of the Mysteries, both Klein's and Zhou Mingrui's memories still remain, along with the strongest part of their emotions and resolve, as well as the godhood from the Celestial Worthy, plus the remnants of the Oldest One.

"The Angel of Redemption is my Lord's trumpet, the messenger of His revelations."

— Bible of The Fool - Lord of the Mysteries, Chapter 1325.

Dwayne Dantès: A mysterious tycoon from Desi Bay and a devotee of the Goddess of Evernight. He came to Backlund seeking new opportunities and, to some extent, attempting to ascend into the upper echelons of the local nobility. In reality, he was an adventurer who had amassed wealth on the Southern Continent; since that fortune had not been obtained entirely legally, he came to Backlund to launder it. Should any official Beyonder investigate further, they would discover he is a con artist posing as a wealthy man, making large investments to pull off scams. He is known as a womanizer—a reputation stemming from Arrodes. Mr. Clown: When his shadow and part of his spirit were corrupted by Sasrir's will, he turned to Audrey's historical projection to help him construct a virtual persona that would prevent him from losing control. The right half of his body was Gehrman, while the left half consisted of a myriad of translucent spiritual larvae. His behavior became frivolous, absurd, and reckless; he cracked jokes and cared little for politeness. His madness and eerie mannerisms instilled fear in others. Yet, it was all merely a facade, and he retained his sanity. Merlin Hermes: A wandering wizard who travels about granting people's wishes. He is the creator of the Fully Automatic Wish-Granting Machine, a device supposedly capable of granting three wishes to its users. In truth, however, it was Merlin Hermes himself who granted the wishes. He styles himself the Miracle Wizard and a servant of "The Fool, Lord of the Mysteries, Great Ruler of the Spirit World."

### Hired Messenger ╮

The summoned creature hired on behalf of Gehrman Sparrow is named Reinette Tinekerr. "She" requires a gold coin for every letter delivered.

Klein hired a craftsman to make a silver harmonica to simplify the summoning incantation. It can be used for a year and a half.

"The spirit that wanders the void, The friendly creature that can be commanded, The messenger belonging to Gehrman Sparrow." — Klein's messenger summoning incantation

He was originally a man named Zhou Mingrui from Earth, living in Southwest China in the current era. He seem to be the only son of the family. His mother in her late forties with ear-length short-hair. She having a chronic disease, still enjoyed busying herself. His father always spoke with a loud voice and silver strands in his black hair. His profession is leaning toward Majors in the field of engineering and physics. The place of his birth on Earth in China is somewhere in the Southwest. He was a hardware engineer. He likes single-player games, but as a corporate slave, he has no time and can only play mobile games. At one point, he harbored feelings for someone, leading him to study Tarot Cards in an attempt to impress them, though his attempts at confession ended in failure. One day he visited his hometown and bought a thread-bound book titled ‘Quintessential Divination and Arcane Arts of the Qin and Han Dynasty’ at an old bookstore. After experiencing a month of bad luck, he performed a Luck Enhancement Ritual recorded at the beginning of the book, which resulted in him transmigrating in the middle of the night. He was a ‘qualified keyboard politician, keyboard historian, keyboard economist, keyboard biologist, and keyboard folklorist’, deeming himself to be ‘knowing something of everything’ but mocked by a close friend as ‘only knowing a little of everything’.

Fifth Epoch ╮

The Original Klein Moretti:

The original Klein was a citizen of Tingen City, in Loen Kingdom. At the start of the novel, he had just graduated from the Department of History at Khoy University. His father was a sergeant of the Royal Army who died in a colonial conflict with the Southern Continent, and his mother was a devotee of the Evernight Goddess who passed away the year he passed the entrance exam to Khoy University. He also had an elder brother, Benson Moretti, and a younger sister, Melissa Moretti. He died from a mysterious suicide, shooting himself in the temple with a revolver under the crimson moon, after writing ‘Everyone will die, including me.’ in his notebook. The protagonist, Zhou Mingrui, who transmigrated from modern China after performing a luck enhancement ritual recorded in an ancient book titled ‘Quintessential Divination and Arcane Arts of the Qin and Han Dynasty’, fused with his remnants and has since been living as him.

Lord of Mysteries — Volume 1: Clown — Klein Moretti ↴

As Klein Moretti, he joined the Nighthawks as a civilian staff and shortly after became a Sequence 9 Beyonder of the Fool Pathway, because Roselle Gustav mentioned in one of his diary entries his regret over not choosing the Error, Door, or Fool Pathway.

He discovered that the ritual that resulted in his transmigration led him to a space of gray fog. He found that he could pull certain people onto this space. After his first attempt at pulling Audrey Hall and Alger Wilson onto the gray fog, the Tarot Club was founded for exchanging items and information.

While in the Nighthawks, he encountered many coincidences all in a short span of time. Along the way, he advanced to Clown. Despite getting some idea that these coincidences were unnatural, it was too late for him when Ince Zangwill, the mastermind behind all the coincidences, caused the True Creator's spawn to target Klein.

He was ultimately killed along with Dunn Smith by Ince and the True Creator's spawn but mysteriously returned to life. Afterwards, he moved to Backlund in a bid to get stronger and further improve his Sequence.

Volume 2: Faceless — Sherlock Moriarty ↴

After moving to Backlund, he became a detective and changed his identity to Sherlock Moriarty, in order to avoid being found by the Nighthawks. Shortly after, he was involved in a conspiracy involving Intis and Ambassador Bakerland, who sent Rosago, a Marionettist, to assassinate him. With the help of Sharron, a Sequence 5: Wraith, he managed to defeat Rosago and gain the potion formulas of Magician, Faceless, and Marionettist of the Fool Pathway.

Afterwards, he successfully achieved part 1 of his revenge plan by killing Lanevus while also stopping the descent of the True Creator through him. However, this alerted the authorities to the presence of some mysterious Tarot master.

Klein advanced to Magician not long after. Then he stole the Black Emperor Card of Blasphemy that enabled him to use the Black Emperor's power with the help of the gray fog.

He then spent some time acting as a magician before advancing to Faceless near the end of the volume. By this point, he was involved in another plot of the True Creator, Ince Zangwill, the Primordial Demoness, and the royal family. He barely managed to escape with the help of the Angel of Concealment, and this enabled him to successfully flee to the sea and changed his identity once again.

Volume 3: Traveler — Gehrman Sparrow ↴

After escaping Backlund, Klein traveled to Sonia Sea to seek mermaids for his Marionettist advancement ritual. Also, in order to digest the Faceless potion, he was traveling with his new identity: Gehrman Sparrow, a crazy adventurer, a pirate bounty hunter.

He first stopped at Bansy Harbor, where he encountered a local cult that made the human sacrifice to God of Weather. He managed to kill the person behind the crime and continued his journey.

Soon after, Klein arrived at Bayam. In his short presence in the city, he killed the Sea God Kalvetua and took over his believers and reshaped his doctrines.

Afterwards, Klein went on a bodyguard mission to protect the Die of Probability and safely returned it to Life School of Thought. Later, he was tasked by Amyrius Rieveldt to pretend to be him for five days. During this task, Klein was targeted by the Mother Tree of Desire.

He hired Cattleya and her crew to travel to the Sea of Ruins where he eventually found mermaids and promoted to a Marionettist. He then returned to hunt Admiral of Blood Senor. Due to the early attention from the Mother Tree of Desire, Klein triggered a battle between Demigods in Bayam.

In the end, he killed Senor and returned to Backlund with another new identity.

Volume 4: Undying — Dwayne Dantés ↴

Klein appeared in Backlund with a new Identity, Dwayne Dantès. He acquired this identity in the hope to enter the upper hierarchy of Backlund nobles and, ultimately, stole the Antigonus Family's Notebook from Church of the Evernight Goddess for the Bizarro Sorcerer formula of the Fool Pathway.

However, he got banished to the Foggy Town by 0-17 before his plan could work. During his time in the town, he encountered the historical projection summoned by Zaratul, who he thought was long dead.

Zaratul tricked Klein to open the gate and hoped to kill him. Luckily, Klein learned the formula from Zaratul without falling to the trap. Eventually, he escaped from the Foggy Town.

Later he set on a trip to the Southern Continent to avoid Amon.

Klein joined Azik Eggers to explore the undersea ruins beneath the Berserk Sea, where he learned the truth behind Mr. Eggers' immortality. Meanwhile, Klein confirmed that he was watched by the Evernight Goddess.

After he spotted a trace of Ince Zangwill, Klein contacted Leonard Mitchell. Together they sought revenge for what Zangwill did back in Tingen City. At last, with the sacrifice of Daly Simone, Klein successfully put a bullet in Ince Zangwill's head and promoted to Bizarro Sorcerer.

Volume 5: Red Priest ↴

The Sequence 4 promotion granted Klein more control over the Gray Fog, and he discovered a shocking secret behind his transmigration.

He then returned to Backlund, continuing as Dwayne Dantès. Being a demigod allowed him to start investigating the truth behind the Great Smog of Backlund.

However, he had to first deal with Amon's avatars that had propagated in Backlund. With the help of Arianna, Pallez Zoroast and Will Auceptin, Klein managed to clear all of Amon's avatars in Backlund.

The Evernight Goddess soon after tasked Klein with missions. With assistance from Arianna, Klein was able to kill Qonas Kilgor and Hvin Rambis. Through them, Klein learned about King George III and Adam's plans.

He fully digested the Sequence 4 potion due to Fors Wall's and several other authors' new novels based on the mystery he left during the wartime. Then he promoted to Scholar of Yore in the Berserk Sea. Later he found out that the Palace above the Gray Fog is actually the Sefirah Castle, one of the nine Sefirot left by the Original Creator.

Klein allied with Bernadette Gustav and Trissy to stop King George III's advancement ritual. With Evernight Goddess, Lord of Storms and Primordial Demoness, as well as plenty Angels on Klein's side, King George III eventually failed to promote to Black Emperor.

Klein escaped the battlefield and returned to Backlund, but little did he knew, Amon had already been waiting for him in his hideout.

Volume 6: Lightseeker ↴

After he succeeded in stopping King George III's advancement, Klein was kidnapped by Amon's avatar. Together they entered Forsaken Land of the Gods, wherein Amon asked Klein to try to escape from him while he fed Klein with ancient secrets and hidden histories. He hoped to help Klein digested the Scholar of Yore potion and established a better connection with Sefirah Castle.

Amon then took Klein to the place where Ancient Sun God first came out, named Chernobyl. It was at that time that Klein realized he was still on Earth, albeit a future one, and fully digested the potion. His connection with Sefirah Castle was then temporarily shaken. Amon saw the window of opportunity and tried to steal Sefirah Castle, but failed because of the Evernight Goddess' interference.

Klein managed to suicide and resurrected at the City of Silver to escape from Amon. Klein's connection to the Sefirah Castle was enhanced after the digestion and was able to divine the Miracle Invoker potion formula from The Half-Fool on the Sefirah Castle. Meanwhile, he suspected that Evernight Goddess might be the first Transmigrator.

In order to find the ingredients and also as preparation for the Miracle Invoker advancement ritual, Klein started his journey in Forsaken Land of the Gods to gather information and hunted down the God of Wishes, Kotar.

Klein was told about the "Above the Sequence" by Amon's clone that was ambushing him when his historical projection entered Chernobyl. Later he asked Audrey Hall to hide the memory, because the more he knew, the more likely he is to be corrupted by the Outer Deities.

During the trip, Klein discovered Moon City and acquired their faith. He discovered the fog wall at the border of the West Continent. Later he successfully defeated Kotar and obtained the characteristics of Miracle Invoker, as well as Attendant of Mysteries.

He joined the City of Silver's expedition and defeated the Dark Angel's evil spirit. It was about the same time that the World War ended with the God of Combat being killed by Evernight Goddess and Earth Mother.

In the end, Klein led the City of Sliver to leave the Forsaken Land of the Gods.

Volume 7: The Hanged Man — Merlin Hermes ↴

Klein successfully advanced to Miracle Invoker after he let the forgotten history of the City of Silver to return to the current history.

He learned the truth about Outer Deities from the Seven Lights and decided to assume the identity of Merlin Hermes, a wandering magician whose best trick was to fulfill the wishes of others.

Later, he obtained the Fool Card after he helped Arianna with sealing 0-02.

At some point, Bernadette asked for his assistance as Mr. Fool to help her explore Emperor Roselle's last mausoleum. Both discovered that Emperor Roselle has been polluted by an Outer God from the Cosmos. Bernadette, with the help of Klein, had to seal him away on a sorrowful note. Before falling into sleep, Roselle warned Klein to be wary of one of the Cards of Blasphemy.

He continued to fulfill the wishes of others, in a bid to fully digested his Miracle Invoker potion. In the fall of 1352, he designed and built a Marionette Town named Utopia with 5000 marionettes as a condition for his advancement ritual to Attendant of Mysteries. Also around the same time, he allowed his believers to set up the Church of the Fool in Bayam.

Utopia later was attacked by the joint efforts of Zaratul, Amon, and Adam, and Klein fell into the trap of the latter. Around the same time, Amon and Medici helped a member of the Abraham Family set Mr. Door free. Klein managed to escape from Adam's Divine Kingdom with the help of the Magic Wishing Lamp and Roselle Gustav. He also managed to turn the situation around, pressuring Zaratul to escape and triggering a battle between Adam and Lord of Storms.

He advanced to Attendant of Mysteries after he asked the Magic Wishing Lamp to finish the ritual for him and later managed to locate Zaratul's position. With another help from Roselle, he successfully stunned Zaratul for a while and killed him with Law of Beyonder Convergence. He swallowed Zaratul's Beyonder Characteristic and became a King of Angels.

Volume 8: Fool — Mr. Fool ↴

Having defeated Zaratul and ingested his Attendant of Mysteries, Klein managed to stabilize himself from the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings's influence after he advanced with the help of the remnant will of Zaratul inside his Beyonder Characteristics.

He met the Evernight Goddess in a dream, and learnt some truths about the past and how to accommodate the Uniqueness and to accomplish the apotheosis ritual. In order to consolidate "His" mental state, Klein wandered around in various places where he could resonate with his humanity. Klein visited Audrey Hall to take care of his mental health and he destroyed the Garden of Eden as an act of revenge after Adam made a move against him.

Afterwards, Klein entered the Calderón City to obtain the water from the River of Eternal Darkness and handed it over to the Evernight Goddess.

He learned more about the fall of the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings. Under the guidance of his spiritual intuition, he gave 5 gold coins which were corrupted by the Sefirah Castle's aura to Azik Eggers's Messenger, Reinette Tinekerr, Maric, Will Auceptin, and Pallez Zoroast to make arrangements for the possible future.

After making a lot of preparations, he went to the peak of the Hornacis Mountain Range. Klein began to accommodate the Uniqueness of the Fool Pathway.

Eventually, Klein successfully promoted to Sequence 0: Fool. He returned to the Sefirah Castle. While he inspected his authority and power, he found that Amon had invaded the Sefirah Castle and had a fight with him. At the time of danger, Klein released the suppression of the Celestial Worthy's will inside him. He fell into a half-crazy state and took the initiative to start a crazy gamble.

Main article: The Fool's Gambit ↴

Klein finished Amon in the Sefirah Castle with a supernova. The forced convergence further increased the awakening of the Celestial Worthy's will, pushing Klein even closer towards losing control. Nevertheless, he managed to make his way to the Evernight Goddess' divine kingdom. There, the Evernight Goddess gave Klein a drop of water from the River of Eternal Darkness, temporarily suppressing the will of the Celestial Worthy.

Klein went to the Forsaken Land of the Gods to retrieve the lost Magic Mirror Arrodes, returned the Magic Wishing Lamp to Bernadette Gustav and gifted her an iron cigarette case which was corrupted by Sefirah Castle's aura. Finally he met Will Auceptin to help him accommodate the Uniqueness. However, Will refused and said the next opportunity would be better.

Before Klein entered a state of slumber, he held a last-minute meeting and entrusted a long-term commission to all members of the Tarot Club. The main commissions are to spread the name of The Fool widely, spread the news of The World being the Blessed of The Fool, and record it in the Church's Holy Bible.

After the meeting, Klein released all the humans in cocoons inside Sefirah Castle into the real world. Then he went into deep sleep together with Arrodes.

After around 7 years of being in a sealed state, he met his niece while Melissa was holding a ritual.

Circle of Inevitability

• Volume 1: Nightmare ↴

At some point before the events of Book Two, Lumian Lee acquired the Aura of The Fool.

Five to six years after Klein entered sleep, during Termiboros' descent ritual in Cordu Village, the Aura of The Fool on Lumian Lee, stimulated by the surrounding environment and his intense emotional fluctuations, successfully attracted The Fool's attention. As a result, Termiboros was severely wounded, and together with the soul fragments of Aurore Lee and the villagers of Cordu, was sealed into Lumian Lee's body.

• Volume 3: Conspirer ↴

As of 1358, Klein, though still in slumber, can respond to requests for help.

According to Judgement, the Minor Arcana of the Tarot Club should not directly seek The Fool's help more than once a month unless absolutely necessary. Reciting His honorific name alone will not draw attention or assistance. In fact, it may result in failure and pose a certain risk.

After Jenna was caught in a painted world during The Hostel ritual, she sought the The Fool's protection. As a result, Lumian Lee was transported to her location.

• Volume 5: Demoness ↴

During Project Vortex, Klein briefly allowed Amon, now a Sequence 1 Angel of Redemption of the Eternal Aeon Pathway, to return to his former status as a Dual-Pathway deity of the Error and Door Pathways.

• Volume 6: Dream Weaver ↴

Madam Magician revealed to Lumian Lee that the lucky coins his companions had received, Klein's Gold Coins, were mediums which allow the user to participate in The Fool's Dream.

The Major Arcana of the Tarot Club tried everything they could think of to wake The Fool up, from directly reminding The Fool's dream manifestation, Zhou Mingrui, of the existence of Beyonder powers to filming "The Great Pirate 3", a movie that fully depicted his incarnation's experiences in the hope of triggering his memory. None of it worked, and they were quickly expelled from the dream as a result.

In 1359, Audrey Hall sent the five new coin holders: Lumian Lee, Franca Roland, Jenna, Anthony Reid and Ludwig Phil into The Fool's Dream in an attempt to wake him up. Sending them off were Fors Wall, Leonard Mitchell, Reinette Tinekerr, Will Auceptin, Azik Eggers, Sharron, Maric and Susie.

— Circle of Inevitability, Chapter 1150

---

On June 25, 1360, Klein Moretti had fully awakened, and completed his confrontation and fusion with the Celestial Worthy, accommodating Sefirah Castle as a single-pathway deity —The Fool.

For over a month since then, the fully awakened The Fool Klein had refrained from immediate action, sharing his true state only with Lumian, the Evernight Goddess, and Will Auceptin. Instead, he had patiently and covertly prepared. finally, during the accommodation of the Brood Hive from Mother Goddess of Depravity, Klein had fully merged with Gehrman and accommodated the Uniquenesses of the Error and the Door, ascending to be the new Lord of Mysteries and the first Great Old Dominator on Earth.

Connection with Gods ╮

Your fate has intersected Amanises, Leodero, Adam, Amon, Herabergen, Aucuses, Medici, Ouroboros, as well as ‘Him’...

— Sasrir to Klein — On Lord of Mysteries, Chapter 1260

Through divination and other ways, Klein had drawn the attention of a number of gods. According to the Evil Spirit Sasrir, "He" had crossed paths with "His" other self True Creator, seven former Kings of Angels, and Amanises.

Evernight Goddess ╮

The Evernight Goddess had been putting a great deal of attention on "Him" and responded to every one of "His" prayers/rituals. Klein was, in many ways, "Her" Blessed.

When Klein "transmigrated" into this world, "He" was supposed to be born with a "curtain" which includes the Fool Pathway characteristics from sequence 9 to 1. In order to prevent the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings from awakening, the Evernight Goddess grafted the curtain to the Forsaken Land of the Gods using the Uniqueness in Antigonus

Later, the Evernight Goddess (descended into 0-17) saved Klein from Mr. A during the Great Smog of Backlund.[2] "She" also sent Klein to Foggy Town when "He" tried to steal Antigonus Family's Notebook.

In the later chapter of volume 4, Klein as Gehrman Sparrow, together with Azik Eggers, began to explore the undersea ruins beneath the Berserk Sea, which was the legacy of Death. The Evernight Goddess, who descended by using the Sealed Item 0-17 as "Her" Vessel, came to the rescue of Azik Eggers, who had been trapped by the soul-merging ritual left behind by the late Death God Salinger.

Klein later tried to pray to the Evernight Goddess to understand the motives of Ince Zangwill.[5] Before the revenge fight against Ince Zangwill, Klein was given a drop of blood from the Sequence 1 Snake of Mercury Will Auceptin as a gift, which "He" made into a high-sequence spell 'Deity's Curse' by praying to the Evernight Goddess.

In volume 5, Klein as Dwayne Dantes was 'tasked' by the Evernight Goddess to be 'Death's' representative in Backlund, as "He" was visited by Patrick Bryan, a Numinous Episcopate demigod who claimed to have received an order from the Goddess to meet "Him". Later, after "He" tried to pray to the Evernight Goddess, "He" concludes that "She" is currently 'resting' and cannot respond to prayers, only to be visited by the 'Servant of Concealment' Lady Arianna, to cooperate with "Him" in his next plan to eradicate Amon's presence from Backlund. 'She' used Klein as an agent to investigate the real background of a large number of mysterious disappearances and also prevented King George III from obtaining Godhood.

In Volume 6, "She" helped Klein get out of "His" predicament with Amon in Forsaken Land of the Gods and also helped "Him" in hunting the Dark Demonic Wolf Kotar. Klein also helped "Her" deal with the enemy from Rose School of Thought that wanted to destroy "Her" base of believers in the Southern Continent.

Later on, during Klein's conversation with the Evernight Goddess, "She" explained why she favored him to such a degree. Due to the previous Lord of Mysteries, the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings, sealing 7 Sefirot in the Western Continent, it is in the Gods' best interests to foster a successor so that "He" may undo the seal and allow access to the Sefirot. But due to the Lord of Mysteries' remaining will still being strong, it was very risky to do so before. While Amon might have been a stronger candidate for the position, the Evernight favored Klein due to "Their" identities as transmigrators, as "He" reminded "Her" of "Her" previous world, and thus decided to stand by "Him" and help "Him".

Lord of Storms ╮

Klein had a brief contact with the Lord of Storms as Klein's historical projection prayed to Lord of Storms, asking for the Theater With Curtains That Never Draw, a Sealed Artifact which contained one of the Beyonder characteristics of Miracle Invoker. However, the Lord of Storms responded to "Him" with lightning.

On the Forsaken Land of the Gods, Klein always used the remnants power of the Lord of Storms by shouting "His" true name in crisis moment. "He" also shouted "His" true name in Utopia, called the Lord of Storms to deal with Adam.

True Creator╮

After Klein destroyed a number of conspiracies from the True Creator, "He" finally learned of The Fool's name (from Lovia) and asked his followers to search for "Him". In the few instances where Klein drew the attention of the True Creator with the gray fog, Ouroboros was sent but didn't find anything. Immediately after Klein's battle against Kotar, "He" planted a corruptive seed of thought in Klein which 'guided' Klein to check on the Dark Angel Sasrir, who had been sleeping inside the Giant King's Court.

Mother Tree of Desire╮

The Mother Tree of Desire also seemed to notice Klein's uniqueness in fate, and had attempted to corrupt "Him" through Cynthia, and was still seeking Gehrman Sparrow after a failed attempt.

Adam╮

Klein found out that the real culprit behind the Great Smog of Backlund was the joint cooperation between the current Royal Faction backed by King George III, the Psychology Alchemists' demigod Hvin Rambis who was backed by the Twilight Hermit Order's leader the Angel of Imagination Adam, and the late Lady Despair Panatiya backed by Demoness Sect. After obtaining the clues, Klein fought with Hvin Rambis after he noticed something wrong with Miss Justice's current situation. By the advice of Lady Arianna, Klein sacrificed the item he obtained after defeating Hvin to the Evernight Goddess, in exchange for the Scholar of Yore potion formula.

General Abilities╮

Scholarship - The memories of the original Klein and some research done on his own made the current Transmigrator well-versed in the past of the new world. Moreover, he learned a few ancient languages (Hermes, Jotun, etc.) along with rare historical facts during his activities as a Beyonder and leader of the worldwide Tarot Club. Uncovering layer upon layer of mysteries and secrets of the past also made Klein privy to some matters known only by a few. After digesting the potion of Scholar of Yore, he is one of the few people who have knowledge about the world before the First Epoch, which is the modern era.

Marksmanship - After long hours in the shooting range and expending numerous bullets, he is now able to hit a non-moving target. Although he still has some problems hitting agile targets. Skill with guns is greatly improved after advancing to Clown and is now able to hit moving targets with great accuracy. Mysticism - As a Nighthawk, Klein had lessons with Old Neil about the basics of the supernatural world, such as how to conduct ritualistic magic and other ceremonies. The Book of Secrets by Klarman that he obtained in Backlund allowed him to become an expert in the basics of mysticism. His role as the leader of a secret organization also made him privy to some secret matters and mysteries related to Gods, the Pathways, etc.

Divination - After completing Sequence 9 as a Seer, Klein learned several methods of divination. He continues to use them even after progressing through his pathway. These techniques include the use of spirit pendulums, dowsing, and dream divination. Acting - He can assume several roles of different identities, such as a God, an Adventurer, a Detective, a Tycoon, and a Wandering Magician. Each role has different personalities. With these roles, he can fool most people he comes in contact with, making them believe that each personality is an entirely different person. Received basic knight training that strengthened his physical condition. Maintain Lucidity in most situations (dream infiltration/spirit channeling) due to blessings of Evernight Goddess.

Abilities as the owner of Sefirah Castle╮

Entrance - Able to enter the domain of Sefirah Castle by taking four steps counter-clockwise in a square, while conducting a specific chant. After digesting the Scholar of Yore potion thoroughly, he is now able to enter the Castle instantly without the need for the ritual, but he needs all corresponding Tarot Club members to pray as the Anchor. After becoming Miracle Invoker, he is now able to enter it directly using just his spirit body without the ritual. After becoming an Attendant of Mysteries, his physical body becomes one with his spirit body, meaning that he can now enter the Castle directly with his body. Summon - Able to draw in members of the Tarot Club at will, and others who make connections with Mr. Fool by saying his honorific name or through other ways. Ordinary People (Limit 2): Klein's spirituality could barely hold on to having 2 Tarot Club members summoned during their 1st meeting. Sequence 9 (Limit 3): Sequence 8 (Limit 5): Sequence 7: Sequence 6 (Limit 9): Prayer - Able to receive prayers and answer them. Prayers can be used to view the surroundings of the person praying. Sacrificial Ritual - Able to move items in and out of Sefirah Castle, this is used by the tarot members to shuttle items between themselves. Divination - Able to ignore some interference when divining inside the Sefirah Castle. Even outside the castle his spiritual intuition and sense for danger are enhanced. Historical Projections - Able to conjure various pseudo-material things that one can see, touch, use for divination, etc., but is unable to take to the outside world. The pseudo-materials are historical projections. Fog - Able to use the fog around him in the Sefirah Castle. The power of the fog can be mobilized to make high-level charms and bullets. Mystical Items - Mystical items moved into the castle become docile as if in a sealed state; however, Klein is still able to use them to directly interfere with the real world without suffering any of the negative effects of the items. After staying in the Sefirah Castle for a while, normal items gradually transform into mystical items. These items also bear the scent of the Sefirah Castle after prolonged stays inside the domain. Corruption - Able to make Beyonders of certain pathways potentially lose control upon viewing the aura of Sefirah Castle which permeates out into the real world and augments his body. The aura is equivalent to seeing a Mystical Creature in the eyes of low and mid sequence Beyonders. Those who view Sefirah Castle will establish a preliminary connection with it, allowing Klein to track them. Purification - Able to see, purify, destroy or interfere with spiritual connections to some degree while within Sefirah Castle. For example, when a Tarot Club member is possessed, Klein can sense and destroy the spirit possessing the member even when the member was unaware of it, as well as shield members from the whispers of evil entities that turn them crazy or make them mutate. Everytime Klein or a member of the Tarot Club enters the castle they are purified from any curse or corruption. It is the same for some items. Spirit Medium - Inside the castle he is able to directly communicate with spirits, without Ritualistic Magic, like a Spirit Medium. Angel Embrace - Able to use Paper Angel/Angel Embrace by using the power from Sefirah Castle and one of the Cards of Blasphemy. Angel Embrace hides one's true thoughts, maintain one's lucidity, and interfere with fate to hide one's tracks. In those aspect the red priest card is the strongest Klein has. Spirit Body - Able to summon himself as a spirit body by praying to himself and responding to the prayer. By accommodating items of a higher level into his spirit body, he can augment his spirit body and make it more corporeal. As a Spirit Body, he can directly attack one's soul. Ending the summons instantly returns him above the Gray Fog. Azik's Copper Whistle - Forms pitch-black flames flaring out from the eye sockets. Black Emperor Card - Forms an imposing set of armor with a gorgeous pitch-black crown and long black cape. The aura becomes majestic and dignified, exuding an awe-inspiring vibe. Tyrant Card - Forms a heavy papal tiara and a dark blue religious robe. Red Priest Card - Forms a dark gold mask, a crown embedded with gems that sparkle red, blue, and green, and a dark red robe that looks like rust and settled gunpowder that had been stained by copious amounts of blood. The Red Priest Card is very compatible with Paper Angel's interference effect with fate. The Fool Card - Forms an extremely gorgeous piece of headwear and colorful clothes. The aura becomes deep and terrifying but gives off a comical, ridiculous, ludicrous feeling. Sequence 6 - After becoming a Faceless, Sefirah Castle's domain started to truly integrate with Klein's body in the real world. Some effects are the ability to resist or hinder divination, and luck, specifically both bad and good luck cannot be given to him unless given by a deity, be it Angels or Gods. Sequence 5 - After becoming a Marionettist, Klein can stir and utilize some of the powers of the Sefirah Castle on his own whereas previously he required either a ritual or the help of an external source of power (like the Black Emperor Card) to do so. Sequence 4 - After becoming a Bizarro Sorcerer, Klein's control over Sefirah Castle experienced a qualitative boost. Combined with his clown's intuition he can have a projection of someone’s figure and actions at distance, it can be use to precisely turn someone into marionette from afar. He can shield Sefirah Castle's aura from his body, preventing Deities from seeing his uniqueness. Inside the castle with the Sea God Scepter and a Card of Blasphemy his level is close to that of an Angel. He also became able to easily see the Astral Projections of the Tarot Club members; thus, reading their current Beyonder pathway and Sequence. His divination powers became far more outstanding than most saints, even without heading above the gray fog. He also got the Attendant of Mysteries's ability to regain their stolen or lost abilities via Marionette Interchange early. Sequence 3 - After becoming a Scholar of Yore, Klein's power inside the Sefirah Castle is equivalent to Sequence 2, however, he mostly had the power, but not the corresponding level’s Beyonder powers. He can produce Angel Embrace with the Miracle Invoker's power without using mediums. Sequence 2 - After becoming a Miracle Invoker, Klein has complete control over the Sefirah Castle. His power inside the Sefirah Castle is equivalent to a King of Angels and he is able to use a portion of the power of a Trojan Horse of Destiny from the Error Pathway and a Planeswalker from the Door Pathway without the need of a medium. In the corporeal world, he can borrow the power of the Sefirah Castle and conjure a nascent Divine Kingdom where he can use some of the authority from the Attendant of Mysteries but is unable to use the adjacent pathways' authorities. Sequence 1 - After becoming an Attendant of Mysteries, Klein can take out things from inside the Sefirah Castle at will. He is also able to locate the Angels from the three Mystery Pathways, provided there is no interference. As an Attendant of Mysteries, he is also able to borrow the powers nearing Sequence 0 of the Fool Pathway, as well as the majority of abilities from the Error and Door Pathways that are below sequence 0. Moreover, he is not much weaker outside than inside the Sefirah Castle.
