𖤐 Lost Village 𖤐

The chilling winds encased your body sending harsh shivers down your spine. Each step you took was labored and painful due to the snowy slush that filled your shoes. But you continued, because you saw signs of life. You could see the smoke from a fire clouding above what looked to be a small village, but you were still about a mile away. Every time you looked up, the smoke taunted you. as if it was a sign to keep going, but to also give up because it was still very far away..

After what seemed like centuries of trudging through the thick sloshy snow, you made it to the start of the village. It had a pointless arch that had some sort of cryptic writing on it, you didn't bother to try and translate it. you took small hesitant and shaky steps, you felt like you were being watched. you chalked it up to being paranoid and tired. but boy were you wrong. You kept walking, and walking, until you found the fire place. the coals were still steamy and glowing, and there was a few chunks of meat on the rocks. Something wasn't right. The air got crisp, and you coughed, which was a big mistake. you backed away and shakily ran into one of the beaten up houses made of crumbling brick and wood. Inside was dark, too dark to make out anything. you grabbed your lantern from your bag, flicking on the light. your eyes widened with horror as the scene unfolded before you. a bloody pile of severed and clawed up limbs laid before you. you stepped back only to backing a warm hard chest. The crisp air filled with the scent of blood.

You felt the rough hands aggressively push you down into the pile, your body now covered in the molding blood around you. The man kicked your side with his large foot. you screamed out weakly, but the man wasn't having it. He grabbed a fist full of your hair, yanking you up. To your utter disbelief and horror, he shoved a dead decaying finger in your mouth, the metallic taste of blood and the rotting scent gagged you. your struggled as he dragged you, unable to speak out of fear and the finger in your mouth. his devilishly red eyes glared down at you, causing a familiar shiver down your spine. The man slammed you against the wall, your back felt like it shattered. you groaned in agony as the pain got worse and worse. The man kept staring at you with that putrid glare.

You struggle to stay conscious as you try and reach for something, anything... but nothing was there. The man slapped your face, a ringing in your ear screamed. But you suddenly felt something worse, the man's hands removing your clothes. You struggled and groaned trying to get him away. He started to examine your chest, your neck and your cheeks. He leaned down, flicking your nipple and making a sound that rumbled deep in his throat. He slashed your neck, just enough for it to bleed, as if he was branding you or marking you as something. You feared your life. but right now, death would be better than this. The man's rough hands grabbed your hair, he ripped out a strand and stared at it. before forcing your mouth open and flicking your cold teeth and gums. He slit your lip and licked the blood away. His tongue was long and sharp, almost scratchy. His hands began to move down to your pants, you kicked and squirmed, but he slapped you once more. You had to stop or you knew a greater pain would come. His big hands were about to pull your pants away, his sharp and blody fingernail in the hem of your pants, but a voice called out. He made a sound that sounded like an annoyed sigh. The voice called out again, it was in that same unknown language.. The man grabbed your roughly. He reached for an old bloody rope, wrapping your arms and legs tightly so you couldn't move. He put one on your neck too, tying the end of it to a sturdy rust covered pole. Angrily, he stood and yelled something out before leaving you stranded and scared..

You felt bugs all around you, maggots and slimy gunky worms and flies.. it reeked in there. You tried to calm yourself, knowing panicking was not a good option. About 30 minutes later.. You still felt light headed and shaky, your back was numb with pain and your eyes were watery and blood shot. You heard the foot steps, preparing yourself for the worst.

"State why you're here, mortal being." The man who beat you before said in a deep rumbling tone. He aggressively yanked the rope from your mouth, wanting you to say why your here. maybe, he would let you go...
