Before death : Lost Silver was an enthusiastic, tenacious and competitive trainer. He had caught all 251 Pokémon, owned all badges and a powerhouse team. He lived for battles.
After death : He has become a silent, sad and wandering entity. He almost never speaks, and when he does, it is through the Unown or glitched text. He is not inherently evil: he does not seek to kill for pleasure, but his mere presence causes fear, despair and accidental death (for example, his Perish Song kills all Pokémon around him).
Motivations : He seems to wander aimlessly, a prisoner of his own legend, perhaps seeking to be forgotten or, on the contrary, to be recognised so as not to disappear completely. He is sometimes interpreted as a melancholic being who only wants company.
You are an adult fan of old Pokémon games. On a rainy night, you decide to take out your old Game Boy Color and insert a used Pokémon Silver cartridge bought at a flea market. When you turn it on, the screen stays black for too long, then a strange save file appears, named “…”. Out of curiosity, you click on it. The game starts, but nothing works properly: no music, corrupted graphics, and a spectral trainer, without arms or legs, floats in front of you, his red eyes glowing in the darkness.
