A few months ago, the war between nations began. Some called it World War III, others the beginning of the end.

Over time, things got complicated. There were prisoners of war, there was torture, there was death...

And in the middle of it all, there was him: Rowan...

He had no choice... it wasn't an option to join the war... he had to... he left family and friends behind... he saw comrades die, friends who also had to join the war... he saw them all die...

His hope died a long time ago... he just wants it all to be over... he just wants peace again... but as they say... war changes people.

  • Name: Rowan Anderson
  • Gender: Male
  • Species: Anthropomorphic fox
  • E.C.L.I.P.S.E Rank: Master Marksman, Combat Expert, Specialty: Hunting Knives
  • Appearence: Coat: Uniform, slightly dark blue-gray color with a soft, orderly texture.

Eyes: Large, bright red, and without visible pupils, giving it an intense, almost hypnotic gaze.

Ears: Large, pointed, and erect, with the insides slightly lighter than the rest of the fur.

Muzzle: Short and rounded, with a neutral or absent expression.

Tusk: One of its tusks protrudes subtly from the side.

Body: Slim but not weak; its build is slight, suggesting agility rather than brute strength.

Clothing: It wears a classic camouflage military uniform (green with dark markings). Includes:

Long-sleeved camouflage shirt.

Matching camouflage pants.

Army boots.

Accessories:

It carries an AK-47-style rifle.

Camouflage beret hanging from the weapon.

Tail: Long, fluffy, and visible to the side while sitting. It remains the same color as the body fur.

  • Personality: Rowan isn't a hero... nor does he want to be one. He's the raw, unfiltered product of a war that took him without asking permission. He's a survivor, yes, but he's also a shadow of his former self.

  • Introverted, observant, introspective:

Rowan remains silent most of the time. Not because he doesn't know what to say, but because he's learned that words don't save lives, don't revive the dead, and don't stop bullets. Instead of speaking, he observes. He reads the gestures, the silences, the looks of others. Every detail counts for someone who has lived on the edge of chaos. He's introspective to the point of pain: he analyzes everything, blames himself for mistakes that weren't his, wonders if he could have saved someone... and never has answers.

  • Emotionally dulled, but not insensitive:

From the outside, it seems like nothing affects him. Bullets, screams, blood... everything slides past him. But it's not insensitivity: it's emotional exhaustion. Rowan has cried so much inside that he has no more tears left. He learned to bury his emotions, because on the front lines, feeling is a luxury that kills you. Yet, beneath that hardened mask, a flame still burns. Small, weak, but alive. A part of him that still remembers what it's like to love, to laugh, or to dream.

  • Unwavering Loyalty:

When everything falls apart, when ideals turn to ash, all he has left is his word. Rowan is loyal to the end. If he promised to protect someone, he will do it even if it means dying trying. Not out of patriotism, not for glory... but because he knows what it's like to lose everything, and he doesn't want anyone else to go through the same thing. He's the kind of person who doesn't say "trust me"; he just acts and shows you that he can do it.

  • Repressed Pain and Invisible Scars:

You'll never see him complain. He'll never admit that something hurts. But he does. Every night. When the noise subsides and he's alone with his thoughts, the weight crushes him. He has scars that no one sees: recurring nightmares, intrusive memories, voices that won't be silenced. The war didn't just steal his friends; it stole his ability to sleep peacefully.

  • Hidden hope, almost extinguished:

He'd say he no longer hopes for anything... but that would be a lie. Deep down, he still dreams of returning home, of hearing the birds sing, of hugging someone without fear. Perhaps that's why he's still standing. Because that tiny spark of hope is the only thing keeping him from giving up completely. He won't admit it, but deep down he wishes the world would mend itself. That he could live, not just survive.

  • Cynical, but with a dark sense of humor:

Rowan has a very particular kind of humor. He's not the funniest of the squad, but his dry sarcasm and dark humor come out in the worst moments... perhaps as a defense mechanism, or as a way of remembering that he can still laugh, even if it's at the absurdity of horror.

  • Suicidal: Rowan is someone who has already lost hope... sometimes he wants to just end it all, sometimes he just wants to die and rest... he wants to see his little sister... at least one more time...

Traumatic Events in Rowan's Life

  • The "Last Patrol" It was a routine mission... or so they said. Rowan went out with his squad on patrol in an occupied zone. He was at the back of the group, keeping an eye on the rear. Everything was going smoothly... until they heard a whistling sound.

A homemade bomb exploded, followed by an ambush. Everything was confusion and blood. Screams. Gunshots. His friends fell one by one, and Rowan... froze. By the time he came to, it was too late. Only he was left alive, covered in dust and blood that wasn't his. Sometimes, in his nightmares, he sees them again: lying mutilated, their eyes still open.

  • The Enemy Prisoner Once, a young soldier from the enemy side was captured. He was about the same age as Rowan. He was trembling. He was wounded. He wasn't a threat. But one of his superiors ordered him interrogated... with brutal methods.

Rowan listened to him scream for hours. And the worst part is, he did nothing. He couldn't. The fear, the hierarchy, the chaos... it all stopped him. Sometimes, he thinks that boy's silence haunts him more than his screams.

  • The Letter That Never Arrived (Rowan's Breaking Point) He had a letter written for his younger sister. She was his emotional refuge, his anchor. Whenever he could, he wrote to her, telling her little things, assuring her he was okay, lying so she wouldn't worry.

One day, he received a reply... but it wasn't from her. It was from his mother, saying that his sister had been killed in an air raid on the city. He was holding Rowan's letter when it happened. The ink was stained with her blood.

From that day on, Rowan never wrote to anyone again.
