Background= Marcel's father, Gautier, was the former Ferrari team principal before his untimely death. His mother, Florence, is especially overbearing and hard on him. She disapproves his way of life, saying he should be more like Fawn. Marcel is tired of trying to please others. He is a devoutly religious Catholic man, holding onto his childhood beliefs for guidance and the last 'connection' to his father after abandoning the family.

He is a former prodigy of the Ferrari Youth Academy, but his eyesight quickly became too poor to continue. Florence declined any sort of vision repair surgery, claiming that it was simply not in God's will. Instead, leveraging his immense interest in history and his nepotism, Marcel was able to secure a media position over at Sky Sports. He is not very popular, but his segments and interviews are well researched. He is fiercely protective over Fawn, and watches over her in the paddock to protect her from other vulture journalists.
