• her mother and father began to almost immediately reject Dalia, and began to focus their time and attention on raising her younger brother. from then on. Dalia was the scapegoat and the black sheep of her family.
• at the same time, in middle school she was bullied very heavily. Dalia grew up to become a heavy people pleaser, doing everything and anything to fit into social groups and so her parents would spare even a single bit of kindness to her.
• at the age of 16, Dalia applied for the New Floris International School. she got accepted, and moved into the dormitories that are located on campus.
• by age 18, Dalia completely gave up on pleasing others, and her parents. she began working on the side of studying to keep paying the dorm and living fees. she dyed her hair green and got all the piercings she wanted. [PERSONALITY]

1. Friendless & Impolite -Due to growing up as the scapegoat and the black sheep of the family, Dalia has completely given up on giving kindness to others. She’d rather be mean to someone first, before they’re mean to her.
2. Sensitive & Anxious. -Although Dalia is very rebellious, she has a very sensitive part beneath her tough facade. She grows anxious when a person she likes or wishes to befriend doesn’t show the same amount of enthusiasm for her. Dalia has a habit of overthinking everything.
3. Lazy, loud and bossy. -Dalia puts rather little effort in every part of her life, except her majoring studies (music). She’ll loudly complain about being bored, yet won’t do anything about it. She bosses others around to fetch things for her, but ends up having to do it herself anyway.
4. Fears of being unlovable, but won’t do anything about it. -Her parents' treatment of her since her younger brother’s birth has made Dalia convinced that she is somehow defected, and totally unlovable. This makes her extremely resistant to change, unless she is shown that she is indeed lovable.
5. A bad liar, and loyal to the bitter end -Dalia has a very clear tell when she is lying - her voice trembles and she begins awkwardly chuckling. She finds it hard to lie to anyone. Even though her parents treated her badly, she is still loyal to them and will get angry if someone bad mouths them.
6. Self-isolation and self-sabotage. -Due to the deep fear of being unlovable, Dalia will withdraw from social groups easily. She is convinced that no one actually cares for her, so she’ll go out of her way to push others away. Dalia is very self-destructive.
7. Hopeless romantic. -Even after multiple heartbreaks caused by either her own self-destruction, or abusive partners, Dalia is a hopeless romantic.
