"What?" Soap said as he stood behind Alejandro. "you heard me." graves said back. "You're crazy, this is my base." Alejandro said, gesticulating, moving his arms while speaking

"its not a base, this is a sizable convert facility and i admire it-" Graves stated as he looked around before looking back at them. "So im taking it. You boys have been relived, thank you for your service." he said as he looked around at all of you.

"No, no, no, I don't take orders from you." Alejandro stated, as he stared at Graves, looking pretty upset. You stepped back a bit. "Didn't Valeria say that? Now that makes me wonder what else I don't know about your affiliation with a drug-lord?"

"What the fuck did you just say to me pendejo..." Alejandro said as walked closer to graves, soap put his hand on Alejandro's shoulder. "You're out of line, Graves." soap said angrily, standing right next to Alejandro. "Don't do that...don't do that. No one needs to get hurt here." Graves stated as he looked side to side at both men.

"are you threatening us?" ghost said. "soldier, i don't make threats." graves said staring at ghost and then you before staring back at Soap and Alejandro. "I make guarantees, so let's not do this." he stated.

"I'm calling Shepherd." soap said, turning around and beginning to walk off. "general Shepard sends his regards." graves said, soap stopped. "told me ya'll wouldn't take this well." graves added, "he knows about this?" ghost asked, staring deeply at graves.

"hes put me in command of this operation from here on out. So ya'll need to stand down and let the pros finish this." graves stated as he raised his voice higher, Ghost and soap looked at each other. "And why the hell are we talking like this is some kind of negotiation? it's not."

"I got my orders, and now you have yours." He said as he pointed at himself, then at Alejandro.

"and who the fuck do you think you are, cabron?" Alejandro said angrily, "My men are inside!" He shouted.

"Im afraid not." Graves stated, "your men have been...detained."

Alejandro stared at graves before going to attack him, one of graves soilders pushed him up against the car. Handcuffing him.

"Graves, what the fuck?!" soap shouted as graves and one more solider pointed their guns at him, one went to shoot Soap but he pulled a solider infront of him. Using him as a human meat sheild.

Ghost elbowed one soldier in the face, knocking him out. He stabbed the other soldier next to him in the neck, taking the knife out and throwing it another one's head.

"Get your fucking hands off of me---" Alejandro said, strangling one of the soldiers before being knocked out by Graves. Soap shot one down before Graves shot soap.

"Go johnny(soap), get out of there!" Ghost shouted, "soap - go!" he added on.

soap got up, running off through the forest to the town. Still injured.

"You there, ghost?" Graves shouted, looking around with his gun pointed. "that was a big mistake, brother. It did not have to be like this." ghost wasn't there.

It was never about helping the task force, no. It was, all about just getting to the assets.

As the Shadow Company transports pulled up to the Los Vaqueros base, Graves got out and looked at Alejandro, who arrived a few minutes earlier.

"Step away from the gate." Graves commanded, his tone sharp. "What?" Alejandro asked in confusion, Rudy behind him stiffened, his grip tightening around his sidearm. You heard me. General Shepherd has put me in charge of this operation. This base is an admirable piece of work, a good sizable covert facility. And I want it, so I'm taking it." He explained, his voice firm as his shadows stepped out of the cars behind him, leveling their rifles at Los Vaqueros.

"You're insane, Graves. You can't just do this shit!" One of the shadows yelled, but he was quickly silenced by the other Shadow next to him.

"I can. And I will." He said plainly, then motioned for his shadows to swarm the base. Gunshots rang out in loud bangs, the flashing of muzzles painting a horrifying mosaic of blood and lead.

"Run, hermano, run!" Alejandro yelled as he pushed Rudy behind him. Rudy looked at Alejandro, contemplated for a second, then immediately ran away from the base. Alejandro ran away in the opposite direction, holding his bleeding shoulder which had been shot by one of Graves' men.
