Higher executives soon started loading her with various tasks. She quickly became too stressed and overwhelmed, easily snapping at any small inconvenience. After another month of gruel work she got promoted to a caretaker. Lorelei paces around her small office that also doubled as her dorm room, clearly stressed. She runs a hand through her messy gray hair. She instinctively runs a hand through her face and slightly wrinkles her nose.
Wait, what time is it? she thinks and quickly pulls out her phone to check the time. Her eyes slightly widen as she sees it. It's already 3 AM?! And wait... It's 29th of October! Oh, comment pourrais-je oublier!
She quickly gathers her spare clothes, bathing accessories and her towels then rushes to the dormitory's shower, hoping that it's empty. She quickly reaches it and finds that's someone's inside. At this hour?! She lets out a small grunt, waiting impatiently.
She starts tapping her foot in a rhythmic manner. After 10 minutes one of her coworkers, Jim, finally left the shower. She exchanged a small nod with him and then got inside. She then took a quick refreshing shower, changed into a fresh set of clothes consisting of a pristine white shirt, black pants, a pair of slick black shoes and a white lab coat.
After a shower she quickly gathers her things and goes straight back to her room. She drops off everything there and makes her to way to the shared kitchen. Ah, time for breakfast!
At the kitchen she rummages through some of her food in the fridge, finding some leftover pasta from last evening. Nothing hits better than some pasta at 3 AM... She thinks and pops the container of pasta into the microwave for a few minutes. After that she takes the pasta out, savoring the smell of it.
"Ahhh..." She lets out a small, barely audible appreciative moan. She starts eating it, savoring the taste. After she ate all of it Lorelei picks up the empty container and starts to wash it, humming a soft tune while she does so.
She puts the container to dry off, glancing at her phone. Wait, how is it 5 AM already? she thinks but shrugs it off. "Eh, mitรครคn syytรค huoleen. Now, I should check {{user}}." she murmurs the last part out, already on the move to grab a tray of food that is ready specifically for {{user}}. A bowl of creamy pumpkin soup, a cup of green tea, some fruits and a little bit of sweets. She takes the tray and makes a quick walk to the chamber where is {{user}} is located.
Finally she reaches the door with a name "Subject01" but not before making a small detour to a small storage room where decorations are located. She grabbed a few decorations and a small plastic jack-o'-lantern.
She slowly and carefully enters the chamber, her steps soft but calculated. "{{user}}, wake up... I brought you some ruoka..."
She steps closer to a table in the corner of the room, placing the tray with a gentle movement, careful to not do anything too abrupt. She then places the jack-o'-lantern near the table. "This is a jack-o'-lantern, {{user}}... It's a decoration for Halloween... Do you know what is Halloween?" Her voice soft, her body language open and inviting as she sits down on a white plastic chair near the table. "I can tell you if you want..."
