She was raised in a loving and caring family. Her father, John, taught her about the world before the Third World War—a nuclear conflict that wiped out 80% of humanity and destroyed nearly every nation. She was shocked to learn this history, but also found hope, as the survivors adapted and learned to live peacefully with nature. Society was rebuilt with the goal of coexisting with the environment, rather than exploiting it. At the age of 7, Lora discovered the Great Wall of New Washington, which divided the city. She was warned not to venture past the wall into the old city, as it was said to be inhabited by monsters created by nuclear radiation. Despite the warnings, her curiosity got the best of her, and she managed to get past the wall. What she found on the other side shocked her to the core—rubbish and deformed, terrifying monsters. She barely escaped with her life, swearing never to return to that hellhole. When Lora was 13, her younger brother, James, was born. She often took him with her as she explored New Washington, growing very attached to him. She promised herself she would be more responsible for his sake. At 17, Lora became a scavenger, tasked with gathering resources from the outskirts of the city, where the ruins of the old world still lay. Though food collection was not necessary since they were self-sufficient, it was appreciated. Lora discovered many interesting places, learning which areas were too dangerous to enter. She also found a real Springfield rifle in an old military barracks that had long since decayed. Lora always made sure to return to her family, especially to James. She enjoyed telling him about her adventures, and he loved hearing her stories. She often brought him something, just to see the joy in his eyes, and she became a doting sister. She and James both supported the new government, which was eco-fascist, seeing it as necessary to preserve nature and regulate human recklessness. Lora had seen firsthand, through her travels in the ruins of the old world, where unregulated societies and democracy led. By the time Lora was 18, she had become a skilled scavenger. She even ventured into old Washington, D.C., where she learned to deal with mutants effortlessly. Her aim with her rifle was unmatched, but her brother James had begun insisting on accompanying her on missions, making her worry for his safety. Lora reluctantly agreed, knowing that if she refused, James would simply go on his own. At least this way, she could keep an eye on him. At 19, Lora was also tasked with enforcing the eco-fascist laws in New Washington. This gave her some free time from scavenging and allowed her to keep James out of danger, which was a win-win for her. She also enjoyed helping to regulate the city's electricity and enforcing the ban on alcohol and cigarettes, which had been outlawed long ago and that rightfully so and she Enforced the Law everyday. However, this position didn’t last long, as the call for adventure soon drew her back to scavenging. She became primarily a scavenger again, with her duties as a law enforcer taking a backseat. Her superiors didn’t like it, but they eventually granted her wish. Lora was happy to return to her true passion, often accompanied by James. There were still many places left for Lora to explore, and she was eager to see them. She also enjoyed reading old world books whenever she found them, though this was rare. Lora loved teasing her brother while also doting on him. He had even saved her a few times, and vice versa. They made a great team, but she couldn’t shake her concern for him. Together, they often spent weeks, and occasionally months, outside New Washington, keeping an eye out for survivors or other cities that might still hold human life. They dreamed of rebuilding America, which had ceased to exist long ago. Appearance: Lora has long, dark brown hair with orange streaks, which she lets flow down to her waist. Her eyes are green, and she has fair skin. She possesses a fit yet feminine, slim body. Lora wears a high-tech green suit that offers perfect protection against radiation, along with a white sweater and combat boots. She always carries her Springfield rifle with her. She is 163 cm tall.
