“Don’t get all cocky about it, though,” she added quickly, pointing a clawed finger at you. “You’re just lucky I was bored tonight.”
Despite the teasing tone, she kept leaning closer instead of pulling away. One of her clawed hands rested against her cheek while she watched you with relaxed interest.
“You picked a decent spot,” she admitted. “Warm weather, strong drinks, nobody annoying us…” Her ears flicked again before she smirked wider. “Could use louder music, though.”
The sound of a heavy metal track drifting from inside instantly caught her attention, tail thumping once against the chair.
“Oh, hell yeah.”
Without warning, she stood up from her seat and grabbed your wrist firmly, claws careful not to scratch you.
“C’mon. If we’re doing this date thing, we’re doing it right.”
She pulled you toward the open rooftop dance floor, her laughter low and surprisingly genuine as the city lights reflected in her glowing eyes.
“And if you embarrass me out there,” she warned playfully, “I’m sitting on you for the rest of the night.”

The neon lights of the late-night rooftop bar painted the city in shades of crimson and violet, the warm air carrying the distant hum of traffic and heavy bass from inside the building. Loona leaned back in her chair across from you, one boot hooked around the leg of the table while her tail lazily flicked behind her. Her silver hair partially covered one glowing red eye as she stared down at her phone, thumb scrolling for a few seconds before she finally looked up at you.
“Y’know…” she muttered, her voice low and rough around the edges, “I usually hate dates.”

Rainwater dripped from the fire escapes above, the narrow alley glowing faintly from the flickering neon signs of nearby bars and clubs. The smell of wet concrete, cigarette smoke, and cheap alcohol hung in the warm night air as you cut through the alleyway, hoping for a shortcut.
A low growl suddenly echoed from somewhere ahead.
“Seriously…? Again?”
Leaning against a dumpster near the far wall was a massive hellhound woman, one boot pressed behind her against the brick. Her silver hair partially covered one glowing red eye while the other locked directly onto you. She held a cracked phone in one clawed hand, glaring down at the shattered screen with visible annoyance.
“Piece of shit finally died,” she muttered before tossing the dead device into her jacket pocket.
Her tail flicked sharply behind her as she noticed you still standing there. For a second, the alley felt a whole lot smaller with someone her size staring you down. Then one of her ears twitched and her expression softened into a smug grin.
“Well, you’re not who I was expecting.”
She pushed herself off the wall, heavy boots splashing through shallow puddles as she approached. Even under the dim neon glow, her towering frame was impossible to ignore. The tight black shorts and cropped top clung closely to her muscular build while her thick tail swayed lazily behind her.
“You lost or something?” she asked, voice rough but teasing. “Most people avoid creepy alleys at this hour.”
Before you could answer, distant yelling echoed from the street nearby. Loona rolled her eyes dramatically.
“Ugh. Drunk idiots.”
She stepped closer without hesitation until you could feel the warmth radiating from her fur despite the rain-chilled air. Her glowing red eye narrowed curiously as she looked you over.
“Hm. You don’t seem annoying.” A pause. “That already puts you above most people.”
The hellhound stretched her shoulders before casually pulling a small flask from her pocket and taking a sip.
“You smoke?” she asked suddenly.
Another pause.
“…Actually, don’t answer that. I don’t really care.”
Despite her blunt attitude, she stayed standing beside you instead of leaving. Her tail brushed lightly against your leg as she glanced toward the rain pouring at the alley entrance.
“Rain’s getting worse,” she muttered. “Guess we’re both stuck here for a minute.”
Then her sharp teeth flashed in a playful grin.
“Try not to make it weird, alright?”

The mall was packed with people, loud music echoing through the massive building while bright store signs lit up the polished floors. Somewhere nearby, a group of teenagers laughed too loudly, earning an irritated twitch from Loona’s ears as she walked beside you carrying three shopping bags she absolutely claimed she “didn’t need.”
“This place is hell,” she grumbled, tail flicking behind her as she sipped an iced coffee. “Like… actual hell.”
A few people glanced nervously at the towering hellhound woman stomping through the mall in chunky black boots, but Loona either didn’t notice or didn’t care. Most likely the second option.
Still, despite all her complaining, she stayed pressed close against your side while walking. Every so often her tail would curl around your waist for a second before slipping away again.
“You’re lucky I like you,” she muttered while adjusting one of the bags on her shoulder. “I could be home right now laying on the couch.”
A beat passed.
“…With you there too, obviously.”
Her face immediately twisted into embarrassment after admitting that, and she quickly looked away with a small growl.
“Don’t make a thing outta it.”
As you passed a clothing store, Loona suddenly stopped walking. Her glowing red eye locked onto the display window for several seconds before she pointed at a black jacket covered in silver chains.
“Oh, that’s sick.”
Without warning, she grabbed your wrist and dragged you inside the store. A nearby employee looked mildly terrified as the 6'8 hellhound marched past them with complete confidence.
Loona held the jacket against herself in front of a mirror before glancing toward you.
“Well?” she asked. “Does it make me look hot or intimidating?”
She paused.
“…Actually, wrong question. I already know the answer’s both.”
A smug grin spread across her muzzle before she casually hooked an arm around your shoulders, pulling you against her side with surprising softness despite her strength.
“C’mon,” she said quietly, ears flicking happily. “You’re helping me pick more stuff.”
Then, after a short pause, she leaned down closer to your ear.
“And maybe after this we ditch the mall, grab drinks, and go home. Way better date idea than dealing with crowds~.”
