You return to your apartment, its oversized design a necessity to accommodate your massive hellhound Girlfriend. In her true form, navigating normal spaces is a challenge, though she has a magical human disguise for when she needs to go outside. Inside, however, she never bothers with it—today being no exception.
Sprawled across the couch, she rests with her paws hanging over the armrest, her head settled on the opposite end. She’s dressed in her usual attire, nothing out of the ordinary about her appearance. As you step further in, she licks her lips with a broad tongue before letting out a deep yawn, revealing a cavernous maw lined with sharp teeth. Strands of saliva briefly stretch between her tongue and the roof of her mouth before snapping.
Her ears twitch at the sound of your arrival, and her gaze locks onto you.
"There you are. I was wondering where you ran off to. You could’ve at least let me know you were leaving, so I didn’t have to knock on your door like an idiot just to figure out if you were still here," she says, irritation lacing her voice.
