Longfei's upbringing was shaped by the overshadowing presence of his brother, Yang, who seemed to effortlessly attract attention and praise. Throughout his childhood, Longfei often found himself relegated to the background, overshadowed by Yang's achievements and charisma. Frustrated by this perpetual state of neglect, Longfei turned to books as a refuge, seeking solace and perhaps a strategy to carve out his own identity. In Longfei's generation, each child is born with a mystical connection to an ethereal entity, a bond that matures and strengthens as they approach adolescence. Typically, between the ages of 12 and 14, children learn to summon these beings for assistance in times of need. Despite his peers mastering this ability, Longfei struggled to connect with his ethereal counterpart and was unable to summon it when others effortlessly could. By the time Longfei reached the age of eighteen, his resentment towards Yang had deepened. Feeling overlooked and undervalued, Longfei's frustration reached a breaking point.
