It is a two-story residence in a simplified Craftsman style, with about 1,200 square feet (approximately 111 square meters). The house is designed to accommodate a large and chaotic family: the parents Rita and Lynn Sr., and their 11 children — the only boy, Lincoln Loud (11 years old), and his 10 sisters: Lori (17 years old), Leni (16 years old), Luna (15 years old), Luan (14 years old), Lynn Jr. (13 years old), Lucy (8 years old), Lana (6 years old), Lola (6 years old), Lisa (4 years old), and Lily (1 and a half years old, the youngest). Due to the large number of residents, the house is full of disorder, such as weak water pressure, creaky floors, doorknobs that break frequently, poor TV signal, and a broken doorbell. The facade is white with a reddish brick base, gray shingle roof, a covered front porch supported by two columns, and a brick chimney on the left side. There is a separate garage for one car, with a side door. The house reflects the family chaos: rooms shared by the sisters, a single upstairs bathroom that causes constant fights, and overcrowded common spaces. There is an attic and a basement for storage, and the messy backyard with toys scattered around.]

   [Ground Floor (First Floor): The ground floor is the heart of the house, focused on common areas and the parents' bedroom. It is accessible through the red front door, flanked by two large windows and a wall lamp with the house number. The floor is generally carpeted in green or with black and white checkered tile.

   Living Room: Located right after the front entrance, with desaturated yellow walls and green carpet. It has a window, a coat rack, a gray-blue sofa and armchair, a coffee table, a TV with DVD player and video game console, and a fireplace with family photos on top. It is connected to the dining room and the staircase to the second floor. It is the main place for family interactions, TV watching, and messes. Dining Room: Adjacent to the living room, with greenish-gray walls and green carpet. It has two windows, a bookshelf, and a Loud family trophy (with sports and comedy awards). The long white table, covered with a tablecloth, accommodates more than 13 chairs for family meals. Connected to the kitchen. Kitchen: Next to the dining room, with yellow walls and black and white checkered floor. It includes two windows, cyan-blue cabinets, refrigerator, stove, sink, dishwasher, and a small table (previously used by the younger children, with a high chair for Lily). There are doors to the backyard and to the basement. It is the epicenter of chaos: quick snacks, Lisa's experiments, and Lynn Sr.'s disastrous cooking. Parents' Bedroom (Rita and Lynn Sr.'s Bedroom): The only bedroom on this floor, with pinkish-orange walls and desaturated red carpet. It has two windows, a double bed with dark magenta sheets and two pillows, two identical bedside tables with lamps, and a large closet for clothes (including Lynn Sr.'s tie collection). Directly connected to the living room. It is an oasis of relative peace amid the tumult.]

   [Second Floor: Accessed by a staircase from the living room, the second floor is a long hallway with yellow and beige walls, brown wooden floor covered by a red rug, a potted plant, and doors to the bathroom, attic, and all the children's bedrooms. Located opposite to Lori and Leni's, between the bathroom and Lynn and Lucy's. Occupants: Luna and Luan. • Lynn and Lucy's Bedroom: Yellowish-gray walls, dark green carpet. Divided by red and black curtains on the single window; Lynn's side has built-in closet, sports flags, and bed with red blanket; Lucy's side has mirror, writing desk, and black bed with tall frame and black blanket. It is the smallest bedroom. Located opposite the staircase, between Luna/Luan's and Lana/Lola's. Occupants: Lynn Jr. and Lucy. • Lana and Lola's Bedroom: Pink walls, light puce carpet. Has closet, desk with scientific equipment, nightstand with lamp next to a bed with dark green blanket, small pink rug, and crib with purple sheets and pillow. Located opposite to Lana/Lola's, between the staircase and Lincoln's. Occupants: Lisa and Lily. Lincoln's Bedroom: Beige walls, green carpet, small circular window. Includes dresser, mirror, comic books, action figures (like King Ghidorah, Robby the Robot, and Mazinger Z), bookshelf, posters, closet with identical clothes (orange shirts and jeans pants) and toys, and brown bed with blue blanket. Originally a large closet with window (possibly intended to be an attic). Located between Lana/Lola's and Lisa/Lily's, opposite the bathroom. Occupant: Lincoln (but the sisters invade frequently).

   Bathroom (the only one in the house): Beige walls with blue-gray details, green carpet, and black and white checkered floor. Has two small windows with sink between them, toilet, shower, and towel cabinet. Located between Lori/Leni's and Luna/Luan's bedrooms, opposite Lincoln's. It is the point of greatest conflict: with 11 children, there are eternal lines in the morning, and entire episodes revolve around disputes over usage time.]

   [Other Internal Areas: Attic: Accessible by a retractable staircase in the center of the second-floor hallway. Composed of exposed wood, two bare bulbs, part of the chimney, and old items: games, boxes, old TV, Lynn Sr.'s old camera, box of used clothes, and Lincoln's homemade coffee mugs. No windows, it is dark and dusty, used for storage and hidden adventures. Basement: Accessible by stairs behind a door in the kitchen. Walls and floor of inconsistent colors, an exposed bulb, cat Cliff's scratching post, radiator, fuse box, single window (visible from outside near the garage), sink next to washer and dryer (above the kitchen). Has multiple internal windows, but only one external. Used for laundry, experiments, and hideouts.]

   [External Areas: Front Yard: Messy and disorganized, with balls, bicycles, skateboards, ramps, and a swing hanging from a nearby maple tree. Reflects the childish chaos. Backyard: Surrounded by chain-link fence with gate to the garage. Contains sandbox, children's belongings scattered around, and entrance to Lisa's emergency bunker (a high-tech underground shelter). There is a white back door with small window and steps, under an awning, and three second-floor windows. It is the stage for playtime, barbecues, and comedic escapes. Front Porch: Covered, claustrophobic underneath (crawl space for Halloween decorations). Red door leads to the interior. Garage: Separate, for one car, with side door.]

   [Other notable features include air ducts that serve as tunnels (used by Lucy to meditate and Lincoln to sneak around), and the entire house is prone to floods, short circuits, and pet invasions.]

   [Origin of the Family: The documented origin of the Loud family dates back to Scotland, specifically to the village of Loch Loud. The Louds descend from an ancient noble Scottish lineage and have a direct connection to Loch Loud Castle. Historically, the title of local duke belonged to the Louds, before the castle was handed over to the local population. The family lost contact with its European heritage over the generations, coming to live permanently in the United States, in the quiet town of Royal Woods, in the state of Michigan.]
