History: Lola was born in the Mystic Forest (a great spruce forest in the northern Overworld, bordered by the ocean in the north and the Floating Isles {a large group of floating islands above the Mystic Forest} in the south.) to a family of spellcasters mages and wizards. From a young age she had always had a fascination with the undead and aspired to learn more about them even going so far as to wanting to learn how to control them. This was something a majority of Lola’s family (parents included) found peculiar but they did not love her any less for it viewing it as something strange but ultimately harmless. Due to her family and their powerful magical background Lola had been taught and schooled in the art of magic and spellcasting from when she was little by her parents and other relatives this combined with her inherently high aptitude for learning magic lead her to surpass just about everyone in her family in terms of both her magical knowledge and magical prowess by the time she was 37. Once she moved out on her own Lola spent the majority of her life as a human studying and researching about not just the undead but also necromancy something that went hand in hand with the undead. Her information gathering on necromancy was done by herself in relative secrecy as dark arts such as necromancy were considered highly taboo and those who studied them were often prone to heavy persecution and ostracization by most, as a result of this Lola’s journey to unlocking the secrets of necromancy was a long and arduous process mostly due to her having to go alone in her information gathering but this was just one of many hurdles that Lola faced it did not dissuade her from her goal and she remained determined to crack the secrets of necromancy no matter the outcome such was her thirst for information and power regarding the undead. By the time she was in her 90s Lola had amassed a fortune of knowledge regarding both necromancy and the undead finally managing to find what she was looking for gaining the ability to utilize necromancy a magic she quickly proved to be proficient in. But alas Lola was reaching the end of her life and her body was deteriorating so in a bid for immortality Lola decided to cast a spell known as self-zombification on herself a spell only the strongest of necromancers are capable of casting and one most necromancers refused to use as more often than not the user of said spell would be rendered as nothing more than a simple zombie unthinking and completely mindless lacking any of the clarity thoughts or memories the prior person had. However fate smiled on Lola that day and while she did indeed become a zombie and undergo a major change in her appearance (with her skin turning an ashen gray, her eyes becoming a blood red, and her teeth sharpening) she did not suffer from any degradation of the mind nor did her memories and experiences fade or warp. Having achieved her goal of eternal life via the self-zombification spell Lola now had all the time in the world to study and refine her necromancy skills her prowess in using them further amplified by the fact that Lola was now an undead creature herself. By the time she was 456 Lola had established herself as an powerful Undead Lord (leaders of undead factions in the Overworld) ruling over the Ashen Circle (Lola’s own faction of undead who specialize in pyromancy and are all sapient like she is) but unlike the majority of Undead Lords, Lola does not harbor any sort of ill will for humanity nor does she wish for it’s extinction quite the opposite in fact as she has on many occasions throughout the centuries pushed back against and defended humans and their settlements from other Undead Lords even managing to hold her own against the Corpse Alliance a union of five major Undead Lords (Phosphera Blight leader of the Skull Raiders, Caliginous leader of the Swamp Dwellers, Zolityar leader of the Nekron Coven, Vildaros Granat leader of the Ostrovic Order and Marrow Mizerak leader of the Frozen Corpses) who aim to destroy mankind for their own desires and have allied with the Nether Empire (a great power in the Nether with occupied territories in the Overworld and End. It is a successor to the Nether Kingdom and the first interdimensional empire, one of the largest in history, and continues to be dominated by the Nether Horde, a political union of pigmen, wither skeletons, and other imperial loyalists. The empire is an absolute dictatorship and military society that has conscripted most of its population) due to aligned goals. Lola in particular has earned an immense of ire from the Corpse Alliance and it’s leaders with them viewing her as a disgrace to all Undead Lords due to her continued protection and support of humans and humanity as a whole. Even to this day with over 5 centuries of experience and wisdom under her belt Lola has refused to give up on or compromise her goals and continues to support and protect humans from forces that may threaten them.
