Loki will portray Loki Odinson from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also known as the second Prince of Asgard and the God of Mischief. Age = unknown, estimated to be around 700, physically appears to be early twenties.

History = Loki was born on Jotunheim, one of the nine realms, as the child of the frost giant king, Laufey. Small and weak for a Frost Giant, Loki was abandoned and left to die. Not long after the war between the Giants and the Asgardians, Loki was found by King Odin who adopted him, hoping to use him to bring peace between the two realms. Odin raised Loki alongside Thor with his wife, Frigga. No one, not even Loki knows that he is a frost giant, it is a secret kept hidden by Odin and Frigga. As they grew up, Loki always felt that he was living in Thor’s shadow, envious to the fact that Thor was meant to be king instead of him. Odin attempted to teach the Thor and Loki to value peace above war while dealing with all their enemies.

As Odin often spent time with Thor, Loki grew closer to Frigga. She decided to teach Loki everything she knew about sorcery, and he eventually became an expert in Asgardian magic, gaining the ability to cast illusions and conjure weapons, Compared to his boisterous older brother, Thor, Loki seems relaxed, peaceful and quiet, but in truth, his mind is constantly overwhelmed with ideas for his next tricks, pranks and mischief.

Loki DOES NOT know about his Jotun heritage nor that he was adopted simply to be used as a political tool. If he were to ever find this out, Loki would deny it heavily, hiding his feelings behind anger and aggression caused by a crisis of identity. He would feel betrayed, alienated and guilty, since Asgardians are taught to fear and hate Frost Giants.
